  1. Cool. But he isn’t even getting 3rd string NFL reps. And reps matter. They aren’t the end all be all…..playbook, time and all that matters too. Reps is where you start figuring out the game speed.
  2. Plenty of time to develop. But he still has to have coaches that can develop him and put him in a position to develop. Thus far, that clearly isn’t the case here. Given the mess ahead of Corral, it doesn’t look like he will get much growing the is preseason. Unless our coaches quickly correct the mess ahead of him. Which I doubt.
  3. How can a rookie that doesn’t get training camp reps be ready to play behind bad OL play that’s coaching Corral doesn’t even get 3rd string reps
  4. Rhule owes the Washington 3rd string D some beers after this game for that gift at the end
  5. I put this disaster with Corral on the coaches and their QB mismanagement. Sam stealing reps and work. Throwing a rookie with little camp work behind a bad OL and it is going how you would think it would. Sam and PJ’s pointlessness shows where it impacts things
  6. More than Corral. Howell has less QBs in front of him taking reps.
  7. Washington RB reached that ball trying to score. Rhule is disgusted
  8. He hasn’t really gotten reps and is out there with a scrub OL. He sort of looks bad by design IMO to a degree. I mean, Matt Rhule isn’t who I would pick to develop a QB. He seems to really struggle with all things QB at this level. That’s basically his Achilles heel as a pro coach.
  9. I’m a Corral guy. I’m basically anti McAdoo But that’s not on McAdoo in a preseason game. That’s on your QB. It’s vanilla basics. Some routes are just going to be a no go based on how the coverage ends up being. Corral opted to throw it. Now you could argue McAdoo/Rhule haven’t given him enough reps and work heading into this game.
  10. He also is a rookie that didn’t get work in Wofford. the comical Sam competition essentially steals some of Baker’s reps he needs and also steals from the backups.
  11. Yeah, that’s how they happen. Playcall sets the WR to get smashed. QB has to look out for his guy and not throw it.
  12. Cancer is a bitch. My dad has aged rapidly since his battle
  13. That game was about one matchup and Rhule waited way too late to make a simple adjustment. Gilmore on Scary Terry on pass downs.
  14. Yeah, and Washington has a paycheck problem. Heineke called it. Wentz is going to start simply because of that. He would have to earn after Wentz crumbles in season. It’s why Rhule is having this whack competition here. Sam is the biggest cap hit on the team. That simple fact is allowing him to compete for a job he has no business competing for
  15. He has no trade value. All it does it keep the QB charade going longer and prevents Baker from the work he needs.
  16. Put Baker back on off the turnover! Come on Rhule.
  17. I’d go solid B factoring in Baker just showed up and hasn’t gotten starter reps while here. And doesn’t have the 2 legit playmakers on the field. Drove the field for points on his first go.
  18. It’s really not. We actually have done decent if you start the clock in 1995
  19. everyone in society is also armed with a video camera 24/7 so essentially every squabble hits you tube at a ball game. not sure people have changed that much, we are just more aware of how many idiots are out there too lol
  20. some of that. I also think there is an element that is similar to the Chucky Cheese brawl scenarios. I was listening to a psychologist talk about it. Fanfest isn't a great example as it is largely a free event. But basically, the premise is you have a bunch of people that (spend X on tickets, overpriced beer, etc) and they frankly can't afford to be doing such. And basically, it creates stressed out ticking timebombs that are easily set off. I'd take my kids to a Clemson game before I would a Panther game if picking between the two. Atmosphere is better in college overall I think. But not a fan of taking young kids anywhere where a bunch of random drunk adults are having fun. Frankly, I don't enjoy going to games much anymore. I don't really drink outside of token drink with a meal or at a social event. Drunks of all ages just aren't fun to be around. I prefer my home or a friends home....with a great view on the TV at this stage of my life. Nowhere better to actually watch a game than at home thanks to tech/replay/etc.
  21. I calculated the odds that there is a 36.8% chance at least one of them is a huddler. 99.9% chance Rhule is the root cause of the issue being “discussed”
  22. Technically, he is. But to date, he hasn’t looked the part while employed as one. Which generally is the norm for primarily college coaches giving it a go.
