  1. OBJ/Landry > DJ/Robbie Higgins came from Clev if that is the 3 here our TEs aren’t tilting the scales to our favor Clev had one of the best rosters in the NFL around Baker. And he had a great backfield that was diverse and deep.
  2. Yeah, Rhule had to shelf him last year to get that big gait issue fixed he had last year. The one only Rhule can see. Because that was apparently an issue per Matt Rhule. That was around the time Rhule was talking about BC’s tiny TRex arms. Now he is apparently working on Baker’s mechanics and footwork so far Rhule has had one rookie really pan out to date. Chinn. And he moved him after his breakout rookie year. Never doubt Matt Rhule
  3. Rhule was out there today acknowledging chemistry issues. We keep seeing botched Baker snaps under C. I mean, yeah, Baker goes quick. All our Cs need as much time with out new starter as possible to get it down. Instead we had Sam taking starter reps
  4. I think he means his present job now that he is officially the backup
  5. It’s all good dude. You get week when you want it. Skip will have us in the playoffs until mathematically eliminated and will bet a billion cases of Moutain Dew on it lol.
  6. Just found that odd. Wish a reporter followed up on what Rhule meant by Baker still adjusting to our mechanics and footwork.
  7. All Skip knows is Baker is here so we will get talk on his show. Skip doesn’t know poo about us but he will. Baker is someone he does follow. And Baker can do largely no wrong in Skip’s eyes.
  8. Wonder what still “adjusting to our mechanics and our footwork” means in regards to Baker Mayfield?
  9. Skip doesn’t like the Panthers. Skip loves Baker Mayfield. He is one of Skips chosen. Skip would take Baker on a broken leg leading the Carolina Gameocks to beat Green Bay. *Skip also thought Rhule would be foolish enough, like me, to let Sam start the season off and Baker would come in a couple weeks after the season was underway. That’s for whoever said earlier today that no one else but me thought Rhule would be that dumb.
  10. I mean they generally are spot on. The goal of the line isn’t to actually get it right. It’s for the masses to be equally split on what might happen. 7 seems about perfect. Hard to argue going over or under 7 right now.
  11. I mean, Rhule leads the Vegas odds to be fired based on national perception of what we got cooking up in Carolina. It isn't a huddle creation.
  12. Well, to me is just comes down to the structure of the college playoffs. It has been designed perfect for the ACC to date. A gift for Clemson. Who knows where it goes in the future.
  13. I'm curious in the bigger picture. Clemson does a good job of having guys learn underneath to take over. Clemson's DL talent this year is great. Pending they stay healthy, anyone should look good with that talent. It will be interesting if they can get guys in without Venables and what the new guy does with his own recruits.
  14. Some of it was probably just the reality that the ball in Sam's hands was making it hard to win games at a certain point. The Vikings game I think is where he finally conceded a normal offensive gameplan wouldn't work with Sam Darnold. Think the first play of the game was Sam throwing an INT. A complete pointless Sam INT. Probably the worst INT on the season. Sam went 17/41. We somehow managed to get back into that one. Rhule went on a big rant about running the ball post game there. But at that point it was over. We didn't have a strong enough run game to deal w/ the fact Sam Darnold was the QB. And everyone knew that we didn't want the ball in Sam's hands.
  15. Jacoby is the starter though in reality given the suspension.
  16. Dabo just sits around and comes up w/ corny nonense and sells the hell out of it. Somehow it works. I no longer question how it does. It's a mystery I quit debating long ago. and Dabo would be an utter failure as a NFL coach. Yet is a modern day college GOAT. His strengths don't translate. And that's okay. I still say Rhule is a knock off Dabo.
  17. True. I'm a Clemson fan. You think Dabo's nonsense would come off well if we wasn't on some massive great run? Clemson fans would tire real quick if Clemson was winning 6 games each season under him lol. But he wins 10 games every year and has Clemson competing for Nattys. So it's funny and we laugh that it pisses others off.
  18. I mean, this is no longer fun buddy. I knocked your projection game for the painfully bad Brian Burns remark. That's not where Rhule gets in his own way and the decisions he mindboggling struggles with. Nor how I knock him. He knows CMC is good. He knows DJ is good. He knows Burns is good. He can figure out the super studs. You ever heard me claim Rhule couldn't figure that out? Nah. Rhule struggles w/ the tiers of players that fall under superstar. The Teddy B tier. The Sam Darnold tier. The Baker tier. The PJ tier. That's probably 3 different tiers of players those 4 fall in. Maybe 2. I predicted Rhule would do something dumb with players that fell in some of those tiers. I might of guessed wrong but it was rooted in Matt Rhule's tenure as a HC. Silly, is your stance that Matt Rhule shouldn't be doubted and questioned. Again, the bar is on the ground and I concede he thankfully walked over it. Maybe he can keep baby stepping and dig himself out of the hole he rightfully should be viewed in currently.
  19. In no particular order I think the OL has improved talent but I think the OL might still struggle. Young players, new players, lack of chemistry and work together, working with new QB, new playbook. Mix all that in a bowl and I doubt we see great OL play early on. Run defense (DL). Pass Rush. I think our ability to generate pressure without blitzing could be an issue. Until he shows up and proves he belongs after the league did away with him for the most part, I think Ben McAdoo has a lot to prove. His decision making in all areas looked bad when he wasn't under Tom Coughlin's thumb. And while not a green newb, McAdoo much like Joe Brady doesn't fit what Matt Rhule claims to want to be about. Matt Rhule seems to want Mike Shula if you listen to his talk.
  20. I mean, your projection game needs work in all honestly.
  21. the huddle has always been the huddle. And it has done pretty well given it has survived as we have gone into this heavy social media era of society.
  22. Bringing up Matt Rhule is different than bringing up Joey Syle for example. Some thought he sucked. But he was K. Given the nature of Rhule's position and role, he is simply going to be relevant in a lot of different discussions about the team. 90% of the board doesn't have faith in Rhule per the polling here. Just accept that. Rhule would get bashed less in reality if the loud 10% wasn't demanding respect in every thread for him because someone makes a silly comment and alludes to not having faith in him.
  23. I’d love to be as wrong about Matt Rhule as I was about Dwayne Jarrett. I’d love it. I give zero shits about being right when bullshitting about football. Dwayne Jarrett IMO has been my worst call of all time. He just needs more opportunity!!!! lol
