Folks around here drastically overrated him early last year. 2nd half of last year he was the same inconsistent meh corner he has always been….and remains. Should of paid Gilmore and sent Jackson packing.
-
I know the ref called it a replay of 3rd. Sounds like he misspoke. Announcers ran with it. But it must of been 2nd in reality.
-
Didn’t the INT/holding result in a replay of 3rd down? Then next play Stafford throw incomplete and intentional grounding? That would be 4th. The man they ran a draw on what was claimed to be 3rd again?
-
Did they get an extra down there? I’m confused
-
I mean McAdoo has to have at least 2 plays he could dial up to scheme up some easy passes to WRs that aren’t screens?!
-
we will take 3

mean, there also are flat out some things that work well with kids that are a joke to adults (and get more comical the more highly paid, the more successful, and experienced in life those people get) I always use my guy Dabo as the example. He is the textbook college football coach. It would be very problematic if he repackaged the Clemson brand and sold it to 30 year old professional athletes with families, money and life experiences post college. Rhule had zero success. And that’s why. Because the NFL and college are two totally different games. What works isn’t interchangeable. From people, to X and Os, to what actually goes in to winning. Just night and day in terms of the core formulas to win.

PJ might have to play both ways. Upset is still on.

REPORT: Burns practically a "lock" to be traded before the deadline
CRA replied to saX man's topic in Carolina Panthers
I didn’t that comment as a reference to anyone specific though. I think 89 was simply saying that teams that find themselves where we are at…..are going to have players ask out. He would have. -

Well some of it could relate more to what 89 talked about. He said 2 weeks ago is when he would have demanded out of Charlotte. so we likely have guys that want no part of a long rebuild. There window is now. -

PJ special

lol. I see now. My phone keeps changing it.
-
? isn’t that his name?
-
I can deal with a 2-15 finish. I just need that one to come this week lol. Just for the PJ meme to keep rolling and give me something to carry on with.

Nah. I’m being true to what I have done prior to every PJ Walker start. Jinxing would be me being quiet on what is coming.

Jason LaCanfora: Where do Panthers go from here
CRA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah, he has to get more than that. you aren’t going to be able to sell the guy who got us to a 4 win season conclusion off 3 back to back to back 5 win seasons as the next HC.- 51 replies

1. Currently the Rams are on what I believe is there 3rd string center. Protection up front a major issue. And who has suddenly been looking like a super stud? The man in the middle Derrick Brown. Few will debate that the Panthers do have defensive talent and it has been playing well? What will a Wilks D add? Likely more pressure and blitzing. Last 2 weeks, the Rams are averaging 9.5 pts per game and allowing 6 sacks a game. 2. The Rams offense is massively out of sync. It’s basically been a one man show of Cooper Kupp. Who is plagued with injury right now? Kupp. So while he is projected to play, we are getting a neutered version of the only thing that works in their O. Not to mention most believe Stafford is playing through injury as well. 3. The best player on the field Sunday is Aaron Darnold. But that’s a healthy Darnold. As the stars align for us who happens to be hampered? Aaron Darnold. So while he still projects to play, we get a weakened version of him. PJ Walker - soon to be 3-0. I mean, 8-0. Then back to the bench to hopefully never start again so he can live in Panthers lore as the GOAT. if Jalen Ramsey has 0 pass attempts his direction. We winning this thing. Just don’t do it.

Jason LaCanfora: Where do Panthers go from here
CRA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was talking about his year as HC in AZ. It’s simply isn’t enough to form a real opinion given he was saddled with a rookie QB he didn’t want. And one that we know was horrific. and as Mr Scott said, you got the wrong year when talking DC. Wilks didn’t lose DC duties. His year as DC is what lead to a HC job. We finished as the #7 D in 2017 with Wilks. 3rd in sacks.- 51 replies

So if Wilks pulled off some miracle 7-5 or 6-6 finish you wouldn’t want him?- 51 replies

I mean there have been those throws. but the bigger issue IMO overall is the fact he can’t use CMC even close to properly. Which is how you help QBs have success. yeah, Baker has blown some easy throws. But Baker overall has been in a painfully bad designed O. Baker hitting those throws he missed doesn’t change the fact McAdoo isn’t doing folks any favors. And he could.

Jason LaCanfora: Where do Panthers go from here
CRA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Name a HC that would be good with a rookie Josh Rosen (that didn’t want him)? because that’s the only thing on Wilks’ HC resume. He wanted to go get Josh Allen. Ownership picked Rosen. and I don’t even look at college. He isn’t a college coach. It’s like the reverse of Rhule.- 51 replies
