  1. Why? they aren’t under contract. They aren’t developmental. And they don’t provide steady veteran play.
  2. people somehow have forget how bad Sam Darnold is. just think about how bad he was. Now imagine a worse version of that. Because that is what Ben McAdoo provides
  3. Not really about Jake’s QB ability and more about his ability to deal was with a mega personality and hot head. a young 89 just wasn’t going to work with a ton of QBs. Ones way better than Jake. Cam and an older and milder version of 89 weren’t the best pairing. Hence why 89 had to go. Cam was hitting his prime right when we parted with 89. And Cam went on to reach the peak of his career after that.
  4. I mean, you can run the gameplan Wilks did with any QB. And then it doesn’t matter who you start. I mean, PJ sucks but this staff did everyone wrong last week. I mean, keep doing that and you are going to have problems IMO with others on the roster at some point. I mean you can let them play. With PJ and McAdoo you aren’t beating the Bucs letting them play. It will be ok. You don’t need the fetal position offense.
  5. Gets weird though. I mean in reality vs a Madden create a team. Chemistry. Locker room. All that jazz often has a lot to do with special seasons. Not sure you could of paired a young 89 with a prime Cam. To an extent, 89 needed the personalities of Jake, Prohel, Moose, etc. But Jake was big IMO for Steve actually working out like he did. 89 paired with a lot of QBs likely doesn’t work. Especially that young version.
  6. 89 and CMC are simply nothing alike. I don’t really get the question. in their primes? I’d rather have a dominant WR than a dominant RB. I think the dominant WR can be more impactful overall. Especially in scenarios if your team gets down. same reason I’d probably pick Peppers over Luke. It’s largely the position. And Luke IMO is the best actual football player of his position IMO in our history. Others simply could be more impactful due to their position and also had bigger roles that extended beyond just their actual play.
  7. And Steve said he would have asked weeks before Rhule actually got fired.
  8. that's probably called hope. I mean, if I was CMC I would hope I got traded. This is his prime and it's going to lead to nothing pending he doesn't get traded and out.
  9. I mean who doesn't have a podcast lol.
  10. Shi probably has shown the most potential but Shi is a slot guy at this point. You can't just take that type guy and throw him on the outside. Then it doesn't work. Shenault falls into this too. He isn't the type WR you put on the outside because that isn't what he is. On the outside I think you simply rotate TMJ and Higgins on the outside.
  11. I'm not a big fan of moving up in drafts but if we owned the #1 pick? I'd be okay moving up from the 33rd spot if there was someone great in the end of the first or middle. Using that 33rd pick plus something wouldn't be that massive of a cost. I mean, the Otah/Stewart year catches a lot of hell. But in reality, we hit on two super studs. One just couldn't stay healthy and you can't predict that.
  12. biggest needs IMO are DE, then LB, then TE IMO. hell, you can find a Robbie Anderson type WR in the middle of the draft. League is slammed full of them. Most people don't make them starters. Bad teams do.
  13. Icky is a rookie. On a painfully predictable and poorly coached O. And has looked decent given he is a rookie LT in that scenario. He isn’t even on the radar of things to complain about
  14. I know but if they aren't really counting/weighing those screen passes as real pass pro reps? The rush reps pretty drastically outweigh the pass reps. For example, 1 pass pro rep you get a A+ vs 10 rush reps you get an F on. You wouldn't get a C on the day. The rush reps count more.
  15. I mean, a lot of those screen don't really put you in pass protection. I wonder if those don't really grade as pass protection reps. PJ threw like 5 actual passes.
  16. Icky has a good pass blocking grade. Because he wasn't asked to pass pro in reality. He did some pass pro on screens. So the gameplan basically created a bit of a bogus stat on that.
  17. Robbie is a grown man, highly paid professional and has a kid. Bar for Robbie is higher than….some kid.
  18. Robbie doing all that talk safely behind a phone in AZ. He wouldn’t want none of my guy
  19. If Andy Reid has a QB….Andy Reid has proven for years and years managing the run game is an issue for him. I doubt in today's NFL, Andy Reid thinks an expensive RB is the key to success. Check, the Bills, KC, Tom Brady teams. The passing game is where it is at and that fits what Reid naturally has always leaned toward when it mattered.
  20. I didn't say he didn't have good RBs though. Didn't say they didn't produce. I said in the end, Andy Reid would always abandon a working run game and go to the pass. That has always been the knock on him. He has always struggled to manage the run game. It's basically the only knock on him. I think in the end, if it is about beating the Bills. DJ Moore would make more sense for Andy Reid given what Reid will do in the end. 4th quarter, Reid is going Mahomes IMO.
  21. yes, he has had some good RBs play for him. In the end, with all of them, Andy Reid's DNA is to get away from a working run and go to the pass. It's just what he does. They would be better off IMO trying to add a downfield WR. Because in the end, that is what it will come down to for a Reid team.
  22. Yeah, I remember Andy Reid abandoning Westbrook and pointlessly going to the pass. Which has been the Reid way his entire coaching career. I mean Westbrook was awesome.
