  1. I believe NFL coaches about as much as I believe politicians when talking in front of a camera. Fitt was up their lying to people's faces this afternoon too. It's just what they do.
  2. yeah, you get that in the NFL. You also get random games where people muff punts and the ball just bounces against you all game. hell, just look at what a tiny bit of energy did to the Panthers the day Cam returned. We smashed the Cardinals. NFL gets weird. Then went right back to being the clown show. and yeah, lets go back to that Rams game. We were down right pathetic. And even in game it was talked about how it sure looked like we were coaching to lose. They prevented PJ from doing so basics we know he could. The end of the first half was comically suspect with those 3 timeouts. The Panthers coaching staff did everything they could to not win that game IMO. CMC was a problem that game. Ane the Panther staff went out of there way to neuter him as best they could. Comical even. And if they even allowed PJ to do some basics, I think they knew they might accidently win that that game. So they didn't allow it. They couldn't allow a repeat of AZ the year before. I don't think that is a conspiracy at this point. That Rams game was suspect. And that's not all hindsight. Lot people thought that by the half.
  3. I mean, we beat the Saints. We could of potentially beat a couple more teams at some point via just CMC and defense. I mean, even against the Rams is worked pretty good for a half. Not every team is well coached, has good vets, and is built like the Rams. So yeah, it's tanking if you go about ensuring those accidental wins are even less likely to secure your spot at the top. That way you don't end up w/ like the #3 spot or something.
  4. It's basically a politician at this point. GM stares you in the face and bluntly tells you something everyone in the room knows is a lie. Yes, you are tanking. No, you aren't trying to win right now. GM has no problem claiming otherwise. and yet some will still treat other things he says as gold and absolutely true. For the rest of the year, anything they say shouldn't be taken at face value. Not bashing them. Just saying this is where we currently are. Fitt has no choice but to day down is up when asked about certain things.
  5. The Rodgers era feels like it’s at the end in GB.
  6. I think they should send him packing at the tail end of the season. I don’t think he deserves to stay here. Keeping him feels like keeping Rhule headed into this season. Pointless. He has been too involved in this mess and somehow gets a pass from it all.

  8. Best RB on the Cowboys presently is their 4th rounder in Tony Pollard KC just drafted a 7th round RB who looks better than their first rounder (who looks like a massive bust). you could easily argue draft position is dictating investments are getting more touches than they should And to date, Barkley has never been on a team with a winning record.
  9. Everyone isn't the same and can't be viewed the same. Icky and DJ for example. They don't compare. Horn and DJ don't either. and DJ isn't a rah rah guy. He isn't a leader. He is a dude that will go out and play WR at a pretty high level pending you can get him involved. He isn't bringing much more to the table than that. He will be going into year 6 next year and we are going to be trying to put together building blocks. I've always been a big DJ Moore fan. I don't think he fits where we are going forward. Contract probably keeps him though. That's how I go about things. I have never had an issue with parting with players. That's the nature of the game. I got to the point where I didn't think 89 fit. People of course raged over that. I somehow was an 89 hater despite him being one of my all time favorite players on the field. He was gone pretty soon after I started to believe that. Because he didn't fit at a certain point. Has nothing to do with wanting a good WR or not. If I was DJ Moore I would want out. You would too if you were him. Fans want him. Yes.
  10. that's not the question though. DJ Moore will be going into his 6th season next year. And we are about to entire a 100% offensive rebuild. Do you think DJ thinks he fits here at this point? Going through the slow grind of building something up?
  11. Shaq, DJ and Jackson are really the trio that don't fit. But we just paid Jackson and DJ.
  12. I mean he is right. The primary reason we traded CMC was draft capital. We have very little to attract a HC. We lacked it. And we lacked it because of the moves of our front office. I mean, it is a haul to some extent. But we needed that haul because we have been poorly run.
  13. but it's the Fitt model. The watered-down approach of more picks.
  14. He wasn't drafted. Doesn't really matter. I mean, 6, 7, and undrafted. That's where you should be adding young talent. RB is one of the spots where those late round picks can actually work out. Jaguars are another team that royally fugged it up there in recent history. Jaguars stumbled into James Robinson. Another undrafted RB. Stud. Then drafted Etienne (my guy) in the first round. So stupid. And I'm an Etienne homer. But that's not how you do it. Waste of a pick. That doesn't help Trevor. KC took Edwards Helaire in the first round. Then they drafted Pacheo in the 7th. Pacheco looks way more explosive. But KC is forced to play Edwards Helaire because of the investment. And even if he is better. The 7th rounder looks just as good for peanuts. I don't care if Bo Jackson reborn is available. Don't draft him high.
  15. Best part of Ekeler? An undrafted free agent. I hope we never draft another RB higher than round 3 for the rest of our existence.
  16. timing was actually ideal to start the rebuild going into 2020. I mean, if you look around the NFCS. We in theory should just now be approaching the time to start having put something together. As the NFCS turns weak.
  17. Front offices tank. Jets did it Sam’s last year. We have now entered tank mode. Players don’t tank. Front offices do.
  18. Think people wanted the first. Value looked to be there given what we got. So it’s only natural that it stirs up our GM’s tendency to value quantity over quality with draft picks.
  19. We pointlessly wasted 3 years….and now will start the rebuild that was suppose to occur in beginning in 2020. hard to get excited about another shot at it given Tepper’s lack of a vision or know how. And I want Fitt gone. He has done a horrible job with draft capital and being part of building something. Traded away draft capital. Wasted reps on Super Bowl one year rental vets. Everyone else brought in meh or horrific. And believes 2 cheap pairs of shoes is better than one pair when it comes to drafting.
  20. Depends where those picks end up. Top of each round? Yes. Bottom of each? No.
  21. I’d rather have a 2024 first
  22. Shenault isn’t a RB I mean, I assume Wilks will be tasked at this point to rep the bottom of the roster and young guys by Tepper. He sort of referenced that from day 1. So I’ll guess Hubbard gets the most reps working with Foreman.
  23. You talking about the guy that picked up Sam’s 5th year option, signed Robbie Anderson to massive deal and had been trading away our draft collateral? I don’t love it. It’s a decent haul to an extent for a RB. CMC is special though. I bet CMC was making white quiet noise to get out of here though
