If it's a new purchase, it could be easy in today's market to be upside down.

I think KJ is going to be rotational depth in the NFL. He wasn't really dominant at Clemson and that was being in a great position to be. Good DT play and a better DE across from him. Think this current crop coming out at Clemson is a step back from what they have been putting out into the NFL on the DL.

AFC title matchup is the 20th ranked rush attack vs the 29th ranked rush attack. AFC title matchup is also the #1 pass O vs the #5 pass O. If you look at the top 10 passing offenses - 9 made the postseason if you look at the top 10 rushing offenses - 5 made the post season. Passing is more important. But yeah, a respectable run game is needed.

Need more than that. Rodgers showed that in GB. Rodgers had the best WR in the game......and it wasn't enough for him. And DJ Moore isn't close to Adams. Last time the Packers went to a NFCCG. Adams was the teams #2.

I'd add LB and RB to that list too. We have a 27 year old journeyman and a can't catch Chuba at RB.

spending a top 10 pick on a corner? again?

Giving Payton the credit for Brees is a lopsided take too. Because Brees was good before Payton got him. Payton just put him in good pass happy system. So his numbers jumped. You could have put a really good QB in Joe Brady’s offense and they would have had great stats. Because it’s just putting more influence on the QB. And a weak QB like Teddy lead to record numbers for almost everyone involved. You just cant out a bad QB in a QB heavy O.

Chargers didn’t trade him because they didn’t think he was good enough He tore his shoulder and was at a pay day. They were scared of him not recovering and being tied to a huge deal. So they offered him a heavy incentive deal which Brees didn’t take. Healthy, Brees was Brees.

That’s why I think it is about power in the negotiation. And few just love giving that up. Much easier for some to part with dollars.

It’s not just about getting hired though. It’s about the deal he gets when hired. Compensation, power, etc. That takes some dancing.

I mean Tepper was going after Payton before he fired Rhule. Remember when Rhule had the presser where he had to come out and say Tepper totally said it wasn’t true.

lol. What it is, is just bologna. They were called out for not doing the league required training. You either did it or you didn’t. Issuing a statement that she was in fact trained is politician type BS. It’s irrelevant to the fact at hand. It doesn’t matter if she did other training. it’s like the league saying you have to pee in a cup for them. You don’t. When called on it you claim you totally did….at home by yourself and it looked good. Big deal? Not really. Not by itself. But there is a pattern with Tepper at this point. That’s the point. We are poorly run in lots of ways.

It’s really the Jim Johnson tree. Ron and McD both are part of it.

Great Wolf Lodge is hell on Earth. But the kids like it.

run, run, pass. maybe hit them with the 3rd down draw play. Sometimes a punt isn't a bad play.

Why don't we bring back Greg Hardy. He will play for cheap. I mean, it's 2023. He beat that girl a prior year. I doubt he does it anymore. I mean, that's the thing about sports. It's like politics. Too many exceptions and looking the other way goes down when it is your team. No Panther fan should want Payton. He has a history of being called out on alcohol/drug abuse, bountygate, etc. Every year we are seeing great new offensive minds enter the league. We go looking in the past and give up multiple draft picks to a division rival for it.
