I mean, the Saints and Bucs aren’t rebuilding. They inserted vet QBs into what they deem as solid rosters. It’s basically where Rhule had us. We could have done that. It would have been keeping CMC. Keeping Moore. And bringing in someone like a Mitch Trubisky or some other castoff.

Because you literally can’t trade every human of value. We did trade away a LOT to kick off the rebuild. The one that features all new coaches, schemes, and a #1 overall pick we hope to build around

I’ll care about wins after the bye week. This is about developing a QB and figuring out what we should do around him. Saints should win this one fairly easy pending we don’t get some big D plays or the Saints shoot themselves in the foot.

You are right. And it’s why Miles Sanders had his one good season last year as a rusher despite being meh at the rest of the job. The OL is great and teams have to worry about everything else not named the RB rushing. which is why Philly didn’t value him and we overpaid

Marty had some key adds that got us to the Super Bowl in 2003 and to then back to NFCCG in 2005. Marty got really bad when the lockout talk started. Prior to that, Marty was decent.

They sort of touched on it in this broadcast, but injury frankly has derailed a lot of the Clemson WRs the last couple years. I mean take a Justyn Ross. He single handedly won the last Natty. Dominant. Then was hurt. Never really recovered while at Clemson. Turner always hurt. Collins. Lot of their dudes just ain’t staying healthy. So it could be some of that really factoring and not that they don’t have talent coming in at WR.

I put Michigan slightly out of that tier and in the next in terms of this CFP era…just because they have never won a game in the end. But it’s splitting hairs probably. In fact I might would have to put them alone on their tier because I don’t love lumping them in with Notre Dame, OU and the likes.

They all have set absurd bars that basically can’t be consistently met. Football is always going to be football. Which means poo is going to happen. I still consider those 3 and Ohio St the cream of the crop in terms of programs. They might have hiccups and one season wonders pop up but I think are all in good shape.

People ain’t as quick to jump on the Bama and UGA dynasty’s are over talk as they have been for Clemson.

Meh. I keep up with the Jags simply because I really like Trevor and Etienne. I like watching other guys too that have come out of Clemson. Pretty normal to somewhat follow the guys from your college team.

I didn’t include the LSU part because I didn’t disagree with them being spoken of in that light I just didn’t think Ole Miss should be lumped in as an elite WRU school.

I think Oregon is the start of reality setting in for Colorado….and Deion starts to down some of his noise. Nebraska is a horrible team overall. A TCU was a trash D with a rebuilt O. Colorado is definitely greatly improved and overrated at the same time right now

lol wut? They are literally nothing alike as players. Renfrow is probably the best pure quick open slot play in the NFL. Go watch some NFL folks talk about how elite he is in that so specific niche. Problem is he is limited and largely limited to that one slot at the position/area of the field. And obviously how long he can survive doing the job. He is about the size of my middle school son. Not really a joke there.

Hunter Renfrow is a monster in the slot. But you have to want to run that game. Guys across the league have long praised Renfrow for that niche work. Automatic open. McDaniels doesn’t seem to be a Renfrow guy. Rumor mill has been going since this off-season about him wanting to part with him. Renfrow is my dude. Not really a fan of Scott giving up picks for anyone though in the near future.

Well, if the convo is Philly is spending money smartly and us dumb….the actual contract is relevant. Can just turn a blind eye to it because we don’t feel the impact of it today. Miles Sanders being #7 is stupid it’s like the 10 mill cap we are taking right now for Chosen Robbie Robby Bobby Anderson. We drastically overpaid a role player.
