Visions of early Thomas Davis mismanagement IMO. Thomas Davis only became a real monster when he moved and really got comfortable at LB. It took almost a decade for TD to actually be a monster

Maybe he doesn’t hate him. Maybe Theilen is just putting a lot of bad stuff on film because he is on the backside of his career and isn being relied on as the main dude in our offensive structure And it’s noticeable.

This really JC Horn's burner Twitter account though?

Good point, lot of no good dirty slimy greasy Gamecock fans running around out there. We probably need to start questioning them. -

Horn’s account goes private at the same time this account spawns that only goes after those speaking on Horn is a bit of a red flag. But it could be anyone. Account looks to gotten suspended so I guess we won’t have any more clues coming -

Could be someone from team Horn though. Like family or friends. lots of examples of burner accounts being used by coaches, players or families to go protect the only brand/image/narratives. -
JT acknowledges he keeps talking about 19 and that it likely wasn't going to sit well with folks though. So, he isn't blind to it. But as someone just mentioned, Theilen is probably the first read on a lot of this stuff. So what he is doing is likely just going to deserve comment. I mean, even on the big play we are talking about with TMJ he quit on....Thielen looked to be the intended first read. Or maybe Bryce was trying to look off coverage and TMJ was the real first option. Who knows. But Theilen being a main subject in the Bryce film makes sense if he is likely the #1 read on most plays. and I am sure Theilen and Hurst are the #1 reads on most of the plays Bryce was running. Because that would make sense.

Who would you rank as top 5 Panther draft busts of all time?

Jeff Otah was one of the most dominant players we ever drafted straight out of the gate. -
but Justin Fields is also a 3rd year QB. Bryce Young was making his rookie NFL debut on the road. Maybe he views the roles of WR different based on the who the QB is. For example, he might not have the same issue w/ someone giving Mahomes pushback but might of for Richardson last week. Same maybe for getting open. Maybe vet WRs are getting a higher bar because they are paired up with a rookie and the burden for the team should be on helping Bryce. Not Bryce making them look good.

pending he stays healthy, TMJ will have logged 3 straight seasons on a team that isn't deep at WR. I don't consider it a trolling take to say that if he hasn't shown something at the conclusion of year 3......that it's time to look elsewhere. Even if you don't actually cut him, the plan will need to be looking for an answer elsewhere.

QB school roasted Theilen again on this play. This time it wasn’t for being slow. Bryce eyed him down. He got wide open. Then threw a fit when Bryce went away from him and to TMJ. .
-
Without knowing the actual playcall….it’s hard for me to get that mad. Attacking deep just wasn’t part of the gameplan. I was shocked at that throw. Didn’t expect it. I don’t think TMJ thought the ball was coming his way. And WRs all over the league run bullshit routes at half speed when the play isn’t really coming their way. But I do think the TMJ experiment should end after this year if he doesn’t show something worthwhile. Got to show something in 3 years

Brown was arguably the best player on D last year. Burns just plays a sexier position. Same with Star vs KK. Star was always better here. He just had a dirtier role.
-
I think you got to have a player 3ish years. Some can come out hot like Colbert and some come out slow and turn out nice.
-
True big picture, but the Falcons D wasn’t playing in that manner Sunday. Because they didn’t view Carolina capable or willing to do the home run balls.
-
I caught all Frank said. Again, he pretty much said the Falcons out game planned his O. And it wasn’t complex. He attempted to counter it in the 2nd half and couldn’t. I mean, I’m not a fan of Frank big picture. Better than Rhule. But he just saying standard coach bologna/spin. Old school HC that doesn’t need to be calling plays…..and talked about how he isn’t letting Bryce do the calls that Bryce certainly can do because he is old school. Bryce can do it. Everyone knows it took Jay Z 7 years. And Frank wants to be in control of the O. Which is the Frank problem IMO. Frank shouldn’t be calling the plays. Said it when he was hired. Said it when preseason backed it. Still believe it.

After reflection… 1. Eric Shelton. and it’s probably not close if you look at pick location and production. 2nd round pick. 1 NFL season. 23 total yards. -
well, I finally listened to the full presser. Sounded like a long winded version of saying the Falcons out game planned them. They tried to make an adjustment at the half and couldn't make the plays to counter it in the end. But totally would in the future.

yeah, Clausen did 2 great things. 1. Got us Cam and was a surprisingly class guy in the way he handled his mess/situation. 2. His unintentional Matt Rhule cameo vid. 10/10. -

All comes down to if injuries and off the field issues exclude people or not. You can do it two ways. Was the franchise able to identify talent or not? Or did the pick itself work or not. Horn, Otah, Timmah could be or not be on a bust list. We identified talent. The picks did not work out in the end (Horn still pending). Collins gets in a little bit of a gray area too with his booze. He finished with like a 17 year career, Pro Bowls with 2 different teams, comeback player of the year twice. -
Biakubutuka and Collins are in play. Timmah was a #8 and Collins a #5.
-
Heck, we should of kept Gilmore.

I mean, this frankly sounds like something Matt Rhule spews out. Bijan Robinson also broke the rules of running on that TD. He wasn't supposed to juke people out. If he would have just run freaking straight the guys would have made the play. The Falcons D was playing to jump the routes over the middle because they believed that is what Frank/Bryce would be doing. That's football. And it's frankly predictable. Most knew and projected going in Frank/Bryce would keep it short and in front of the safeties. That's not breaking the rules. That's just good defense.

that's largely true for Bama and UGA too. Those 3 schools have consistently fielded the best rosters in college football. Especially talking about pre NIL. This NIL likely will start to skew that from being so true going forward.
