  1. that's Panther goggles. Andy Dalton has lots of recent tape. Sunday doesn't suddenly alter what he has been the last half decade in the NFL. No team is going to waste actual resources on Dalton to ultimately do nothing but be around .500.
  2. Heck, have them throw in Mr. Slot Hunter Renfrow who apparently McDaniels hates.
  3. Andy Dalton is worth a bag of potato chips. Recent history has shown the value. You aren't getting anything of substance for an Andy Dalton.
  4. I think Scott Fitterer should not be allowed to trade any players or draft picks. He has done enough.
  5. There is a special on mental health that was done at Bama. Bryce was sort of championed for normalizing the help. Which is a good thing. I mean, these are humans. And football at the end of the day is just a game. Young spoke on the pressure when he got there. About being in a bad place mentally when he got to Bama (things weren't going his way for the first time really in his football life) and seeking help for it. https://x.com/CBSSportsNet/status/1578044516921217025?s=20
  6. Bryce Young also had some mental health issues at Alabama when he first got there.
  7. sometimes the NFL/sports comes down to not playing by the textbook. We wouldn't of made either Super Bowl if Jake and Cam just went about playing smart. Hell, look at Mahomes. You need a QB willing to take the proper amount of risks. Not saying Young can't get there. But he has never really been that style QB. Risk is part of sports.
  8. there are mouth breathers on this forum who could score well on that test.
  9. yep, same with adding Jim Caldwell and Dom Capers. Tepper was just looking to overcompensate the other direction after Rhule. Tepper probably called Joe Gibbs and asked him if he wanted to consult this team too. He might be 82 but he has experience. Then instead of allstar staff he could of claimed it was a HALL OF FAME staff!!! We look like a team directed by old farts. There is a reason the Dolphins are dropping a 70 burger. They could of done a lot more. Young imaginative offensive minds looking to take advantage of all the rules in TODAYS NFL. yes, we have a young OC. In theory he could be something to be excited about. But this isn't his offense. This is Frank's core offense that is installed. And it's Frank's calling the plays for the Frank offense.
  10. what defense are you talking about? The Seahawks?
  11. That’s what you get when someone is playing their 168th NFL game. Dalton is supposed to be much better in certain aspect than Young.
  12. Hubbard was the best offensive player week 1. and that became a problem for the people who just drastically overpaid Sanders. And they took his opportunities away after it.
  13. You need reps though. Cam was pretty terrible his first preseason. But he was getting lots of reps to head into the season. Frank treated Bryce Young and this O like a seasoned, good, and established O. that part never made much sense.
  14. A team could sit back and play cover 3 all game….that doesn’t make them the same challenge as the historic Legion of Boom defense. The Saints are a significantly better defense than Seahawks. Doesn’t matter if Seattle is trying to play the same. Saints are just flat out better. I just think you have to account for the fact we played a really bad D this week and a strong one last week. That’s going to result in different outcomes for us.
  15. Hubbard’s 1 carry was at the end of the 3rd quarter his first last week was in the 4th
  16. Scheme. Playcalls. And predictability. All that matters. 89 and commented on it last week. You can’t say a OL can’t run block or a RB can’t run….when opponents know what you are doing. They are just going to beat you if they know. Biggest issue is Frank Reich. His predictable calls. Too much shotgun. And you can’t do what he has done these past two weeks running just Miles. It makes it even more comical. Hubbard is now a tip. It’s a pass play. Every time for 2 weeks. Frank’s poo play calling was aided week 1 because there at least was some uncertainty about run/pass with Hubbard.
  17. In fairness, Frank is limiting Hubbard because Hubbard made Miles look stupid week 1. He was the best offensive player that week and Frank made sure Miles gets all the rushes post reality check.
  18. Only team I feel certain is worse is the Bears. I think Denver out scores us.
  19. Nope. Frank is getting a year 2. Trading away those picks basically guaranteed it. Fitt will be sacrificed to the football gods. It’s why I wanted Fitt fired with Rhule. You always have an easy scapegoat when they aren’t.
  20. All hope is not lost. I feel we will win the week 10 matchup vs the Bears. We are only the 2nd worst team in football. bad news is the Bears likely have #1 and #2 picks
  21. Matt Rhule never started 0-3 in any of his horrible seasons
  22. It’s was their D that allowed Frank slightly more success than we had been having with his whack scheme and our talent. Seattle’s D has been a dumpster fire through 3 games. Notch Rd , Lexington, But I do agree home field and noise aided them big time today. Like it always does.
  23. Frank can’t figure out why the run game as been crap since week 1. well, week 1 you weren’t just a Miles Sanders rush attack. It was less predictable out of your poo scheme.
  24. We played one of the worst defenses this week and one of the better ones last week. So there are going to be some differences everything still looks the same overall. It’s a poor scheme with weak talent. All 3 games have ultimately followed the same pattern *Dalton did find a busted coverage Bryce might not of. And yes, Dalton is going to handle a loud places like Seattle better than a rookie. But that cuts both ways. Andy trying to audible so much was too much for our bad OL and was costly
