  1. it’s simple. The point: Scott Fitterer is a bad GM who shouldn’t be here. We have a bad front office. Mr Scott disagrees with that point. so we dance in a pointless circle on that from thread to thread because Scott Fitterer does have a defender here. I big defender *Miles Sanders and Hubbard don’t fit a Bryce Young/Frank collab. There are threads and threads where that was discussed entering the season. They are early down runners. We were going to be living in the gun and pass heavy. We needed to prioritize 3rd down style RB. Pass pro. Route running. And you cans go watch QB school or whoever and watch folks highlight the poo routes, pass pro, etc by them all over the place. Thielen doesn’t actually work. We force feed our entire pass game to him. So he has empty stats on a sheet. He doesn’t have the skill set to actually be in the slot role he is in at this point. Chark was always pointless. He is a one trick pony and that trick wasn’t going to be part of the act. Bryce was going to be playing 20 yards of the field and small ball. Chark doesn’t run the routes well Bryce would need. Said coming in, Bryce 100% needed small ball skill talent. That’s what we would be doing. It was painfully obvious. He doesn’t have a single player for it. Again, those QB School breakdowns just echo this too. How all the routes are slow. It’s not even just Theilen. He gets the most heat because we put our pass game through him. It’s a painful marriage on every level. There was no real vision or plan and we are seeing the results.
  2. I mean, not much of an argument is needed what I argue these days. Scott Fitterer is a bad GM. There is only really one human on this vast board that is going to take great issue with such. Frank Reich isn't a good coach. Tepper is bad owner who hires poorly (see Rhule, Frank, Fitt) We did a poor job this offseason in terms of adding talent for what Bryce/Frank would be doing. It's largely Frank's O we are running. Carolina Panthers are a bad football that team that sells and spouts a bunch of bologna to the masses. Because that's what bad teams do. There declarations don't mean much so don't carry a lot of weight in arguments. And they have proven that. Only you take issue with these "extreme" takes lol. The reason I have been right about so much the past couple years about what is going to happen (and it largely has played out how I called it)....is because my takes are boring. Last 2 seasons have played out almost exactly as I called them. Babe Ruthing it. There is no homerism in them anymore. The bad here is painfully obvious. Happy Thanksgiving.
  3. I mean, I think Frank "approved" of Bryce Young. You can look at that a bunch of ways. I mean, Frank's O cupboard was also bone dry. Fitterer got him bodies. That's Fitterer's job. I don't think a retread fired Frank Reich off Rhule is slinging a lot of weight in Carolina. They just had that experiment. Sheepish Frank early on in the season has pretty much confirmed that IMO when he gives insights to how he is being treated by this front office. I think the Panthers, not Frank, have made a lot of decisions that Frank has "approved". Frank Reich doesn't look and sound very happy with his employment. that's just my gut take of how things are in an overcorrection Carolina after Rhule. I mean, no matter who you want to spin it....end of the day, this front office is making moves that don't align with what the O wants to do. Which is a massive red flag in any org. And Frank came out the gate hard being a 180 from Wilks. Fitterer didn't know that? Or he did? Some are bending over backwards for Fitt. End of the day, no matter how you might defend or deflect for Fitt.....he ends up being either being a pointless yes man to every human he encounters or he is just a bad GM. There just is no argument for him to be here. There isn't a positive. He is either making bad decisions or he can't stop his all powerful HCs from making them (and no one is buying Frank is that)
  4. Fitterer continued to build a roster for an offense that wasn't suited or catered to what Frank/Young would be doing this year and would want to do in the future going forward. You intentionally attempt to not comprehend that. Because it highlights how inept Scott Fitterer is. How dysfunctional our front office and Fitterer CONTINUES to be post Rhule. What you are doing is simple and easy to understand. Real extreme lol. I mean, frankly I go back and forth with you because I find it fun. It's not about winning a debate. No one can convince you of anything. I'm under no illusion of that.
  5. They hired Frank. Who does what he does. They then gave him Bryce. and then they went out and spent money on free agents that made no sense for what Frank/Bryce would be doing. You keep skipping past this part. Which was talked about leading up to the season. Folks here could see how things weren't in sync with what this front office was doing......It was pointed out then. Folks like you didn't want to here it then. Definitely not now that it has played out as we warned. Meanwhile in la la land your boy Fitterer was talking about never drafting in the top 10 again, competing now, all star staff, etc. Fitterer doesn't just have faults. He has no positives in Carolina.
  6. again, no one is suggesting Fitterer could of overhauled the entire roster.....which is an argument used in that post of why he should get a pass. Fact is, what he did this offseason, in no way was building toward what Frank/Bryce would be doing/wanting. That's on Fitterer. Which was discussed by many in great length before the season started. The disconnect in what he was adding vs what Frank would be doing with Bryce. Which has 100% played out as those of us that argued it said it would. There remains zero evidence Matt Rhule's old GM who is on his own timetable (that too discussed this offseason)......is in sync with what this staff would be doing this year with Bryce Young. it's just more odd mental gymnastics to defend Fitterer. Who has done nothing but be very bad as a GM (with a new excuses every year for what it is all someone else's fault).
  7. this front office hired Frank Reich to come in here. Frank Reich is what he is. the biggest failure is on the front office. Who then spent all offseason knowing Frank would be implementing a Reich offense and was being given Bryce Young to be the QB out of the gate. Frank not adapting to not having the parts once he saw his product is a Frank issue. It in no way shape or form should be giving Fitterer and this front office any cover. They couldn't revamp the entire roster in an offseason but that doesn't then excuse the disaster management of the roster they did do. There is crazy marriage of parts that don't mesh going on here on a multitude of levels. No actions suggest this HC and this front office have been on the same page and sharing the same vision. And it gets more clear that Fitterer should of been tossed in the trash when Rhule was. Tepper keeping him into this next era was another Tepper blunder.
  8. I love how you are on board with Tepper being this all powerful evil dictator in control of all things and meddling in every aspect of this team.....unless it is something you haven't suggested lol. And then.... it total fan fiction unlike your musings. There is little to suggest Frank Reich picked this QB. There is little to suggest Frank Reich had full say in this staff and how things would be constructed. There is little evidence that Frank Reich dictated all of the players acquisitions and that they were guys he sought/wanted. Tepper and Fitterer are horrific. They are primary issue in Carolina. Frank is a garbage HC and that it's own separate issue.
  9. I've said for years, the Panthers are pure investment and diversification for Tepper. Sports franchise have proven to be a great place for the uber wealthy to diversify and grow their wealth. That is why Tepper is here. The actual football team? That's just the toy/fun bonus of it.
  10. yes, I think Tepper insisted Frank have old heads to oversee all the random parts Tepper/Fitt mashed together. It jives with Teppers 180 vision post Rhule. Not wanting, as in not Frank's idea/vision but Teppers. Tepper and your boy Fitt....orchestrated a complete poo show. Nothing meshes. Nothing fits. That's where our problems start at this point. Tepper. Then Fitt. Then Frank.
  11. it's another reason I think Frank is a poor coach. Not just because he isn't adjusting to the obvious but there is zero accountability. you shouldn't trash your players....but you can't get on a microphone and tell outlandish lies. Frank Reich does that. He does that with Mingo. Reporters will ask legit questions about painfully obvious issues, and he says probably greater BS than Matt Rhule. for some reason since Frank is old, boring, and "experienced"....his complete nonsense hasn't been highlighted like Rhule's was. It's every bit as bad.
  12. He wasn’t expected to magically transform the roster overnight ….but with the hiring of Frank and move to acquire Bryce….he needed to start making real moves to cater toward the development of Bryce and suiting the new scheme and identity. His FA moves were horrible pending what Carolina’s new direction was. And his one big offensive draft pick IMO wasn’t ideal either for the new offense and Bryce. Mingo isn’t the route runner or dependable enough to be on the field and such a key part yet….but we got Miles Sanders was essentially an add for an offense we weren’t running. Chark and Theilen too. I really think Tepper has employed a cast of parts that don’t fit and forced them together. Then the icing on the cake was giving his new HC a QB he didn’t really want. And I think a lot of that is Fitt too. Dave isn’t creating all this on his own. I think it’s the GM selling him on some of these ideas. I don’t think Frank and Fitt work. I don’t think Frank and Bryce work. I frankly don’t think Frank probably even wanted Caldwell and Capers. That seems like a Dave trying over correct. He had no experience and then wanted an abundance. Even the the Brown and Evero hires don’t fit the mold of a retread like Frank. They generally go to the pool and tree/family of guys they know and have a history with for the common vision aspect. Then the Rhule holdovers on staff. I think Dave Tepper just took a bunch of random parts and names and mashed them together…..and that’s at least how we look as well.
  13. Whose taking credit for whose work? I’m sorry you invested so much of your internet street cred in praising and building up Fitterer and can’t deal with the fact he sucks. It’s ok. No one actually cares you are wrong but you.
  14. Most players largely go where the money makes the most sense.
  15. I mean the safe money is Frank didn’t have things ranked like others. But that’s a separate convo. I think Frank wanted Carr and if he drafted a guy wanted Stroud. But the front office did what they did. and Fitt did a flat out horrific job in tailoring the talent for and towards what a Frank/Bryce O would try to be. Now Frank should get blasted for his poor coaching of not adapting and evolving to his talent. Especially now that we saw what the result would be. There should be a temp survival shift. Which I have harped on for WEEKS. That’s just a bad coach being a bad coach. Mr Scott is now choosing to fixate on that… a drum I have been beating for weeks lol. But that’s a Frank is a bad coach issue. That doesn’t void how horrific Fitt was in building a team that wasn’t fit nor trending toward what Frank/Bryce would be doing and want to do. Which was all talked about leading up to this season in terms of Fitt being an idiot doofus. None of his FA adds were about what Frank wanted to be doing on O. Fitt was building a team meant for a different HC and QB. He should be blasted for that and all the other nonsense he has been involved with. Fitterer is the Matt Rhule of GMs. And Frank is an old and out dated coach. 2 things are true.
  16. lol, I have bashed Frank for months for his coaching faults. Weekly event for me here. That a poor argument you are attempting to manifest. I’m making excuses for Frank lol. I just bash your boy Fitt for his faults too….and they are many. You still too fixated on not being wrong about Fitt. I mean you are wrong. You just can’t accept it. He is a bad GM. But that’s whatever at this late stage. I got zero interesting in your Fitt defense at this point or hearing about how he hasn’t been horrible….per your created version of behind the scene events that only you are allowed to assume about
  17. They just traded up to #1 overall, gave up 2 first and DJ Moore for Bryce Young. He is the player you are supposed to dictate things around. they failed spectacularly at that. That’s your boy Fitt. And it was obvious coming in. He does the talent. And he did nothing for a Frank/Bryce O. And now you are attempting to argue Frank is at fault for not being Steve Wilks.
  18. everything about this team feels like forced marriages. Nothing jives. That was my problem coming into this season. They opted to hire Frank Reich. Then they opted to draft a QB that wasn't what a very particular HC largely was open about wanting historically. The Frank path didn't fit what we had been building on the OL. The GMs FA adds were red flagish given what the likely assumption of what we would be trying to be on O were. Then you hire some young offensive mind in Thomas and have Frank tie his hands/limit him. Then you throw dinosaur Jim Caldwell on top of it all. Felt like Tepper just went out and bought a bunch of random coaches and smashed them all together. No evidence there is a real vision being worked on here. Nothing looks to be synced up. And Fitt doesn't seem at all on the right page given what the HC and QB were going to be. If we were going to play gun all day.....we needed a different backfield, we need quick speed at WR. Ball was going to need to come out quick. D was going to be clamped down and coming hard at Bryce from the jump. We are playing small ball without small ball skill talent. And it's going exactly how it was discussed it would before the season kicked off. That's not Hubbard/Sanders. That's not Theilen, TMJ, Chark or even a raw rookie Mingo (because his routes are trash this young) this season has gone exactly how I feared. Only much worse. I was too optimistic.
  19. This front office hired Frank Reich to coach their team. The front office then drafted Bryce Young. They moved in a new direction. There is nothing about any they did that aligns with a road grading 3 yard and a cloud of dust offense. Frank and Bryce were never going to be part of that type offense. In the ultimate mental gymnastics to defend Scott Fitterer, it's Frank's fault for not running Steve Wilks offense. Well, Scott should of made sure Steve Wilks was hired then. this all goes back to this past offseason when I explained to you why they needed to fire trash Scott Fitterer. You need the GM and HC on the same page, same timetable, etc. Clearly, these two aren't on the same page. Talent never matched what the O was going to be. Which was discussed very often this offseason. From the OL, to the RBs to the WRs. This was not the talent needed given what we would be. And you can probably add the QB into that too. It's not a Frank Reich QB. It's all a predictable bad marriage.
  20. I wouldn't say they are emulating high powered offenses. I mean, the route concepts and playcalls don't really show that. This is also Frank's 8th season being a playcaller....and he has netted only 2 1000 yard WRs to date in his career as a playcaller (and one of those barely got there) I still think if John Fox was an offensive HC, his name would be Frank Reich. Thielen obviously should get there and make Frank's 3rd. Obviously, nothing high powered about any of that though.
  21. there is definitely fatigue. It's just too much. That said, Loki is top notch Marvel. I also thought I would hate Owen Wilson being injected into this show but it ended up being great.
  22. I'm not sure of a lot. What I am sure of....is we will not be offending some Tenn Karen when we get in the endzone. because we won't be. And if we do, it will be treated as the miracle it legitimately has proven to be.
  23. End of the day, they have a matchup they can lean on. Derrick Henry vs our run defense. End of the day, we once again, don't. We could win, but the safe bet is on the Titans.
