The logic of that statement was always mind boggling. Great QBs both big picture and small picture are for the most part always paired with an elite weapon or two. Some times all time great weapons. The Bryce Young can do it alone never made any sense.
-
If we shut him down….he will have suited up for a mere 33% of his games through 3 years. for comparison, the biggest injury bust to date WAS Jeff Otah and he suited for 52% of his through his first 3 years would he even be worth trading? We likely couldn’t get real value out of him. Probably should just keep him and let him walk.

The upper levels of it. I mean, that’s largely what I am referring to. I’m not talking about every scout and the entire network. No reason keeping Morgan and all top brass under Scott. Gut it all. Which shouldn’t be an issue to replace the leadership/top
-
Everyone employed under Scott should be gone. That means you might lose some good people in the process. it’s similar to why Fitt should of gone with Rhule. When it’s THIS bad….you can waste time trying to sort out what % belongs to who. This is the worst roster in our history and these clowns thought they were doing something….and Dan is clearly part of that

Randy Mueller in Athletic on Tepper and Bryce
CRA replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I still think Fitt and his team have to part of the equation of who is filling Tepper’s head with bad advice. Tepper’s doesn’t strike me a loner type just bullshitting all this on his own -
*when No way to attract a HC if Fitt is sitting in that office. This is the worst roster in franchise history.

Players react to firing. They don’t seem too upset
CRA replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
My bad, that’s right. You didn’t ponder it therefore it couldn’t have been one of the many factors that went into a decision. I guess only you can tell us the only ones Luck, Luke, etc factored in and didn’t. -

Post said there were many reasons. He still worked his way back to a fully healthy 16 game season….and one year with Frank and he walked away forever. It’s still worth pondering about if it had anything to do with it…..given the proven old and stubborn coach Frank has proven to be at multiple places. No different than thinking if Rhule had at least something to do with Luke going. I’m sure your coach is part of whatever big pro and con list a player thinking of leaving during their prime factors in to some level -

I’m not saying it was the cause, as there were many but I alway think about 1 year with Frank….and Andrew Luck said peace out to football forever. -

Nah, a Gettleman doesn’t really have the ability to do much in that regard. No one gave a poo about winning because of Dave Gettleman inspiring them to do. They weren’t scared into caring by a dipshit GM. there was a time when Panthers cared. And that was because of Panther players. Cam Newton made people care. Luke Kuechly made people care. That’s why they were accountable. Go half ass it with Thomas Davis next to you. And that’s only the start of a list that includes all sort of players. who do we have leading the team now or even lately. CMC and DJ Moore were good players. Julius Peppers was a good player too. Sometimes that all you are. Which is ok. They lead in their own way. Who do you ever hear really making it known what we are is unacceptable? -
I’d stack him with Dwayne Jarrett

No he wasn’t. Doug Pederson was the reason. Doug Pederson adapts and adjusts to his talent. You literally find can find folks detailing Doug adapting and adjusting right now with the Jag. It’s what he does. On top of that, Frank Reich even acknowledges Pederson was doing legendary playcalling that SB run. Frank has proven in SD, Indy and now here….when he is in charge of an O. He doesn’t adjust well. He doesn’t adapt well. He likes to do what Frank does and sticks with it until it ends and it always ends the same. All 3 times shown the door for the same reason. * Nick Foles was compete trash in Indy when Frank actually ran an offense with him.

Cam is this weird double edged sword IMO when it comes to Ron. Ron allowed for Cam to be special. Cam wasn’t going to pair well with tons of coaches. It would have been a Frank/Bryce scenario. People claim Ron ran him into the ground. None of his injuries that killed his career were tied to that though. Cam went to NE and was basically a dominant running back after his time here. Cam could still run on the league today. Cam was made to be a bruiser and wanted to be. His arm isn’t shot because of that.

George Seifert 2.0 Tepper needs to study some history. We have already taken a ride on that rodeo.
-
You mean Doug Pederson did that. Doug and Frank aren’t the same. Doug made it a thing. Frank was on staff. Frank on his own prefers Frank things. Doug is a significantly better HC than Frank. We should of fired Rhule after year 2 and made a run at Doug Pederson
-
I mean, the NFL is always evolving. And any coach in the year 2023 should be able to somewhat adapt to different personnel.
-
Frank is the worst. and if you don’t think Frank is the worst then that same logic applied would skyrocket Seifert into being the best IMO.
-
I mean, Tepper certainly alluded to each firing having its own unique reasoning to it. All this certainly sounds plausible. Dinosaur Frank simply unwilling to bend what he does on O for a rookie QB. And that matches the eyeball test as well as echos critiques folks like 89 were hammering yesterday.
-
I would piggyback and more bluntly say that it’s overlooked to a degree that Frank has never worked with a rookie. He has worked with Pro Bowl vets….and he even acknowledged Andy had to ask for a different game plan and have more stuff put in. I don’t think this was Frank’s vision of how to “save” Carolina. He got tasked with a rookie QB who needed a Bryce specific scheme. I do think he wanted a Carr type. And if he had a rookie probably wanted one that plugged into his bread and butter. Frank wasn’t trying to reinvent himself and that was what the job ended up calling for

In fairness, that QB walked in their door only 4 weeks ago…..and has won more games than the Panthers.
-
Because Tepper said so?
-
I wonder how much truth is in all that stuff though. I mean there was a massive blitz by this team to paint a narrative not just on Bryce but the team coming into this year. It was borderline comedy what they were presenting when you put it all together
-
Bruh, Tepper slings PR and sells narratives to the masses of how they want things viewed. Fitterer does. Frank does. Brown does. Tabor will. Coaches are the ones that do it the most because that’s who you listen to this is why you are pointless to talk with. I say these folks are slinging PR nonsense and painting images of how they want things to be perceived (and it’s rarely the actual truth) and you respond with they don’t work in the actual PR deparment lol. Wut?!! go ahead and twist this into something else too lol. I broke my rule but couldn’t let that one slide lol
