this Nicole Tepper out there trying to make hubby not look so bad for the next HC and GM she is about to go hire.

he was get the default 1 spot going into next season, I think the next HC would fully have the space to demote him next year though. If Bryce picks up where he left off? He isn't playing 17 for a new HC IMO. and Bryce's arm talent is likely to be an issue for a lot of coaches. Because it impacts playbooks.

Brown and Luvu are basically the only things that really matter on this roster. No one else actually does. Hope the next braintrust realizes that.

sounds like Tepper knows he is about to go out and sell a HC and GM on coming here....and so the well timed creative leak of him not being so bad makes a lot of sense.

people need to prepare themselves.... the road to him walking started setting itself up before this season kicked off. Burns' performance this year only increases the odds of that path being a realistic option. Tag and trades aren't as common as folks just walking out the door. Fittmagic likely ain't done.

well, in fairness, Tepper has admitted to being wrong about a lot of his decisions and moved on quick. he fired Ron, Hurney, Rhule, Frank, Fitt, and you got a mirror image at Charlotte FC. Problem isn't him admitting he was wrong IMO.....it's him just getting something right to start with.

Not very safe in the big picture. New HCs largely want their own QB. That fits their own vision. That starts a new time clock. Young is inherited from someone else's mess. So the changes are bad news for him and his career overall. and you judge Bryce down the stretch. We failed to score a TD in 4 of the last 5 games. Shutout in the last 2. Bryce got worse. And Bryce has a lot of independent issues from the rest of the issues. A new HC is going to have to arm this team with QB options even if Bryce is defaulted into the 1 to start it off.

that's probably a good take. Bill was instrumental in helping Brady become Brady.....but Bill largely just reaped the rewards of what Brady became.

I mean, of John Fox, Dom Capers, and all the rest are out there cashing checks.....I don't see why Ron won't go be part of the flamed out HC crowd to go get on a staff. Too good of a human/football guy IMO to not find employment in some capacity if wants it in some token role in the good ole boy network.

Common theme too. The LOB era has steadily influenced Fitterer. It is why he drafted a LOB corner in the top 10 as his first move too. No way that was Matt Rhule pulling his weight for that. and Tepper came out singing what Fitterer pitched him IMO. Just imagine what we can save if we draft Bryce and we can devote all of our extra resources to our LOB D. That's how you win. That was the mindset Tepper was sold by someone and it's just a ripoff of the old Seattle team

I mean, NFL teams and major corporations routinely sell false narratives about their decisions. A decision gets made and then they all pretend like everyone agrees. It's repeated every year by every team.

I mean, Tepper wanted his org to have the #1 spot. So he did that. He wanted them to be able to have whoever they wanted. I think you misunderstood my post. Frank was a vote for CJ. I think Fitterer and his team were a vote for Young. So in the end, it was Fitterer that convinced Tepper to go with Bryce. If Fitterer had been a CJ voice.....I do not think we draft Bryce Young. Because that meant Frank and Fitterer would have been CJ votes and therefore Tepper doesn't go against both.

my take on it simply has changed with all the leaking on McD that was done this year. Josh Allen is a rare unicorn QB one man showing it much like Newton did...and emerged at a perfect time in that division.

think he could have some value when you face a team that doesn't fit the modern mold. Every once in awhile you get a throw back team like the Titans have been the last couple years. So you throw him on staff because he is a good lockerroom guy and for the random time you might need him (which is the way the NFL works).

eh, he is a super tight and conservative defensive coach.....and he is totally being carried like Ron by a Cam Newton like almost unicorn QB. But unilke Ron, he doesn't seem to even like Allen and what they do...nor has actually has created a good environment. All that has sort of come to light. That O is definitely having to overcome McD. Bills have had a talented roster and specifically Josh Allen and have emerged as Brady faded out of New England. I no longer buy into McD being a great coach. And I don't see how folks can really claim Cam carried Ron and then not say the same about McD.

McD is actually Ron lite IMO. Think that book has been exposed this year. Allen and that O win in spite of McD.

Doug isn't being fired. He took over one of the biggest poo shows in NFL history. The result - back to back winning seasons. Playoffs in year one and his QB was a walking hurt crash test dummy that shouldn't of even been on the field at the end of year 2. Doug's seat is cold. If it's hot, Jags owner is just on par with Tepper and can't get obvious things right.

I 100% believe Fitterer and his team ultimately sold Tepper on Young. as bad as Tepper sucks, I don't actually think he would have run counter to Frank and Fitterer.

Ron should go take some time off. Talk about a tough couple years he had on his plate. Come back as a D consultant or some variation of an assistant HC. good dude. Not a HC any longer and probably not a DC in today’s NFL.

We are easily the worst job. and Tepper’s fat check isn’t a complete trump card. Especially if you are a young coach. They can make millions anywhere. This job offers the highest odds of career derailment

I want a cleaned house at the top. Maybe that makes Morgan collateral damage. Maybe it doesn’t. But we are too bad to let folks who have been apart of this stay at the top.

It’s probably not actually Tepper but it’s the steady reminder that literally everyone that works for him is horrific at what they do.
