That's game
-
He also specifically mentioned the XFL, so he must have some eyes on certain players and waiting for their season to be over.
-
7 open roster spots, that's than usually still open at this point. Probably sign a vet EDGE and a corner, then fill rest after the XFL season and Rookie Minicamp.
-
-
Grant DuBose to Green Bay. fug yeah!
-
Exactly as I said, Baltimore got him lol
-
He'll probably get drafted in the 7th for this very reason, but if he doesn't, Andrew Vorhees would be a great sign and stash guy. Day 2 talent that tore his ACL during the Combine so his rookie will be a shelf year.
-
I predict Carolina is gonna sign Camerun Peoples if he doesn't get drafted.
-
Welp, that's it for us baring a trade back in. Who are some guys you guys think we could target as a UDFA? Looks like we are gonna have a lot. Still 19 projected roster spot to fill to get to 90 for training camp. Probably sign one or two vets, so probably 15 or so UDFAs.
-
Lmao
-
We've gonna have a healthy UDFA class this, assuming Fitterer stays with the last two picks and doesn't trade back or trade Corral for a 6th or 7th, Carolina will still have 20 available roster spots. Like 15-17 of those will probably be UDFAs.

Round 3 - The Carolina Panthers Select DJ Johnson - EDGE - Oregon
Dilla replied to rodeo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I feel like if a 6th year Sr is gonna be drafted, he needed to put up good numbers at least. Johnson doesn't even have that. I'm just a fan obviously, but I can't make myself like this pick. Fitterer must have gotten intel that someone else was planning on reaching, but on paper, this guy is a 5th round pick. -
Round 3 - The Carolina Panthers Select DJ Johnson - EDGE - Oregon

Bit of a reach here. 6th year Sr that was projected 4th-5th rd. Gonna be 25 in October. -
Their window has passed. They had to dump some large salaries and Stafford contemplated retirement last year and has a bad elbow. They're entering a rebuilt period.
-
Yep, if Minnesota passes then they are the next realistic option baring a trade up
-
I could see the LA Rams drafting Levis.
-
I think Fitterer wants JSN, he's gonna need to get in front of NYG if Seattle doesn't take him
-
Minnesota is Levis' last feasible shot tonight as is unless somebody trades back into the first.
-
So I guess if Carolina decided to stay at 9, Levis would have been the guy (if the staff liked him enough).
-
Damn Daniel Jeremiah nailed it
-
Agent putting in work. Will further help him appeal to companies looking sign promotion deals as well (although he has some from college already)

So PFF did an interview with one of the co-founders, and he says a lot of these leaks are bullshit, but he does concede that all the top QBs in this class scored really well. He says that about 30 minutes in.

Anthony Richardson “knocked” S2 cognitive test “out of the park”.
Dilla replied to DFive's topic in Carolina Panthers
Allegedly all 4 of the top QBs this year did very well on the test, with Young being a bit ahead of the other 3. I'm not hanging to much on this test quite yet tho, it sounds better than the wonderlic but notice how only the hits are being leaked. I'm willing to bet that there are a few that scored high but haven't done well in the NFL and some that did poorly or average and are doing decently. Gotta see all the test takers and their current status in the league. -
If Carolina had sat at 9 and Richardson fell to them, go ahead and swing for the fences. I'm all for it. Giving up what Carolina gave up to take AR at no. 1? Nah. And we would likely have to accept that Dalton would be the starter next season.
