Panthers board. -
Shileds I'd prefer they stay away from unless it's 3 years or less in contract length.. If a Hamels deal can be made I'd be all for it.
-
Don't forget Weaver.

From what I hear some of these Dodger roster moves were also for the clubhouse as Kemp and co weren't always good team mates. I look forward to seeing the 2 Pros the Dodgers now have on either side of 2nd base help lead this team. I think this trade is going to work out great for both teams as the Angels need quality starting pitching.

I totally agree, yet an over the hill Kobe on one ankle with no team is still better than the Hornets. Sad really. -
So if this ends up being Kemp and Federowicz plus the stock piled prospects for Grandal and Cole Hamels I'm good.

Update (6:15 AM EST): A source tells Kirk Kenney and Dennis Lin of U-T San Diego that it’s a done deal. The Dodgers are sending Tim Federowiczalong with Kemp to San Diego for Grandal and Eflin, as well as Joe Wieland (Joe Ross, as previously reported below, does not appear to be involved). The Dodgers are kicking in around $30 million to help offset the $107 million over five years left on Kemp’s contract. – Jon Heyman of CBS Sports is reporting that the Dodgers and Padres are close to a deal to send superstar outfielder Matt Kemp to sunny San Diego in a blockbuster trade. Heyman writes that the two sides are exchanging final details. A source tells Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports that the deal is “closer but not done”. On the Padres’ side, they appear to be giving up catcher Yasmani Grandal along with minor league pitchers Joe Ross and Zach Eflin. Per Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times, the Dodgers are looking for a catcher to pair with A.J. Ellis and Grandal certainly fits that bill. In 443 plate appearances for the Padres last season, Grandal hit .225/.327/.401 with 15 home runs and 49 RBI.

SAN DIEGO -- The Dodgers made deals with the Marlins and Angels on Wednesday, sending Dee Gordon, Dan Haren and Miguel Rojas to Miami for four young players and flipping the key piece, left-handed starter Andrew Heaney, to the Angels for second baseman Howie Kendrick. The Dodgers kept reliever Chris Hatcher, catcher/infielder Austin Barnes and utility man Enrique Hernandez from the Marlins deal, which came on the heels of an unconfirmed, but apparently legitimate, trade for shortstop Jimmy Rollins from the Phillies for two Minor League pitchers. And later Wednesday night, the club reportedly was close to a four-year deal with free-agent right-hander Brandon McCarthy.

Thanks, almost forgot about this one: I give you, butt rocket!

Greinke>Lester If the Dodgers are indeed stock piling youth to trade for Hamels they need to keep Kersh, Greinke and Hamels together. Jimmy Rollins will be an outstanding transition to Corey Seagar, good job there. Should be an interesting next couple of days.

Lester to the Cubs, never thought he'd come to LA anyway as the play was to make the Giants overpay for Lester. The Cubs may actually start winning under Maddon, good for them.
-
Yeah, don't want Kemp dealt to San Diego for sure though.
-
Hanley in the OF would be interesting, he does have a cannon for an arm.
-
Well done, fug the Giants. Hanley will thrive smashing the ball against the Green Monster, not so good at SS but I don't think he'll be moving to 3rd with the Panda there.

Hahah, you noticed the "special diet" and weight loss he did this past offseason too? It was just less pasta, honest. -
It's only going to be 76 degrees Thanksgiving Day here in the 93004, early morning golf is going to suck,
-
Sandoval would be good for the Sox because he can DH as well. Plus it fugs the Giants so there's that. Hope you get the Panda.

My apologies, I misread the assist total. Whatever, the NBA scoring leaders will soon go Kareem, Mailman, Black Mamba.
