  1. Bryce has barely thrown over 30 passes each game for the past month
  2. We've seen Bryce in ideal conditions, I'm scared at what we see here. I assume just hand off the ball every snap to protect him.
  3. Can you imagine if Tepper tried to do some Gruden to Tampa sort of deal involving two firsts. We need to catch this dude in some scandal to force sell the team asap
  4. We can do what the Panthers official website is doing and write pieces about DiCaprio Bootle's name origins I guess?
  5. I don't get people bitching over people making too many threads. If you're looking for positivity or things to look forward to, this likely isn't the place. The state of the team and this season is a poo show right now, let people vent. The bigkat is just stating the obvious. I wasn't even aware of that embarrassing little tidbit either, so it's something.
  6. Yep I still remember when he said Peyton Manning was signing with Miami and that he was already practicing throwing the ball to their receivers and he was right there watching him only to have him sign with Denver and have a presser there like an hour later.
  7. I feel we should bench Bryce so we can evaluate how some of our players look like under a possibly competent offense. I think we've seen enough to know the next 4 games aren't going to make a difference. If we don't, we won't even know how bad the team truly is or how big of a problem Bryce is. If the team actually looks decent maybe it's enough to help us move on from this mistake easier.
  8. Yes. I've watched every qb this season capable of getting their team past the 50 yard line more than twice a game.
  9. Both rookie qbs go into this game both with gutsy comeback performances. Smh. Literally any rookie qb udfa or not has more promise than Bryce
  10. Holy fug watching every other teams rookie or spot start backup qb just shaming Bryce every week is getting sickening.
  11. This ownership tenure from Tepper is such a disgrace. I wonder if the owners just laugh at him.
  12. We got the worst possible bad ending to this offseason. In an alternate dimension all of us are in sports euphoria right about now.
  13. Damn some of those names. The worst part is the younger guys on that list never panned out after those seasons either. It's kind of sad we were responsible for 3 QBs on there having all time historically bad seasons
  14. I'd love a Browns Ravens situation where the team moves and the expansion takes over the old teams name and history. Have Tepper move the Panthers to some dump and name them the Swamp Donkeys. Then shortly after we get an expansion Carolina Panthers team and start over completely with new ownership and everything and never look back.
  15. I completely agree. Before the Niners traded for Chase Young, Bosa was actually in a funk and on a worse sack pace than Burns was. He just recently turned it on and strung together some very nice games as the defense started to play way better. He's still better and more complete than Burns imo, but I think it's kind of unfair that most of this board (not saying you) tries to paint Burns as a complete bum. I'm willing to give him and several other of our guys on defense having down years a pass given the circumstances.
  16. I get what you're saying, but the quality of those opportunities are a bit different. Those are all around great defenses that are performing well, as well as their teams. The Browns defense early on was just insane and the Cowboys defense forced so many big plays and the offense's firepower just forces teams to fall behind and try and catch up by making poor throws deep. Some games those defenses absolutely feasted like when Garrett had his insane game when the Browns beat down the Titans or when Micah and the Cowboys terrorized Bryce. We don't get that luxury. This defense battles for field position until they finally get worn down. Teams can just march on us as the game drags on. Garrett and Parsons are way better than Burns right now, but if Burns was swapped for either of them it's likely he will look way better than he does with us.
  17. I still think Burns is a good player and an important piece to our future. Could he play better? Yes, but going into the Bucs game he was 3rd in pass rush win rate, behind only Garrett and Parsons. His opportunity is way less, the defense is never put on the field in a good position. We never have the lead and the offense can barely sustain drives. Burns doesn't have the opportunity to pin his ears back like some of these other guys get. Teams can just grind us down. This is a very bad team top to bottom. All of our players across the board are going to look bad and have down years numbers wise.
  18. Sam was actually a legit threat when we got down at goal. Not as automatic as Cam, but shockingly efficient. I think all of Bryce's passing TD's are within the 10. Our playbook shrinks a lot when we get down there with Bryce.
  19. We'd be extremely lucky if he develops to be a short Alex Smith. He for sure will be upgradeable if the situation arises and we continue to be a bottom team. Hopefully we can get some serviceable to solid QB play out of him until then.
  20. We don't even have time to celebrate the lone td we get once a week before it gets immediately answered back
  21. I'd be fine with this. He'd probably turn the team around immediately and then after 4 years he'd wear off his welcome and rub everyone the wrong way. Then we hand off the foundation to the next coach. I mainly want it to happen because he has the highest chance out of all the candidates to punch Tepper in the face.
  22. Dude Bryce has been in the bottom 5 several times this year now or mingling in it. If it weren't for most of our starting olineman living there Bryce would be in it in all but like 2 or 3 weeks. He's not the worst player every week, but it's ok to admit he's been playing poorly this year.
