  1. Of course there is. But what in this scenario indicates that is happening here? It was clearly a poorly designed scheme that didn't play to our QBs strengths. I want to know how the hell it got to week 12 before somebody asked WTF was going on. It's baffling to take Young and then not incorporate any of his successful play designs as a HC. And I hope Russini is wrong and Fitt gets canned real soon (6 weeks and counting)
  2. Who cares who it was? It was smart. Reich was failing and the FO tried to throw a life raft. He declined to take it and drowned. Fitterer needs to be fired anyway. But this isn't a problem. There is a thing called collaboration between a front office and coaching staff.
  3. Reich's peers in the front office telling their co-worker that they design gameplans that help their QB is what you want. It's clear that's what's needed. Reich was stubborn and didn't. He was canned. There is not a single thing wrong it. This isn't a front office trying to actually design offense or call individual plays. It's calling out a glaring problem.
  4. It doesn't look like Reich designed anything for this current roster.
  5. I don't believe that. Allbright is not getting that scoop and nobody else reporting anything similar. And I really HOPE not.
  6. I completely understand why he doesn't have any trust from fans. I don't like him either. Maybe it's me being optimistic but Scott not being in the press conference is VERY telling. He can't say , yes, I'm going to fire him in 6 weeks. I'll still reserve my opinion of if he has changed until we see how the search plays out. He certainly isn't a great public speaker.
  7. I just don't know what people expect. He is a billionaire owner and alpha male type business man. He is not going to completely humble himself publicly. At a minimum, he acknowledged fans frustrations that they way he has done things haven't been anywhere near successful. It also appears that Fitterer is on the way out. He didn't confirm/deny that he would hire a coaching firm. But that doesn't mean he wont. He seemed slightly more humbled than he has been. He still sucks but I'm reserving hope that he handles this search the correct way. His poo about the music and events is whack and tone deaf.
  8. I don't think Stroud has anything to do with this. He has performed exceptionally well. Props to him and his team. His situation in a Shanahan offense is worlds different. It's exactly what Bryce needs too. McCown is a really smart football guy. Maybe he is just a scapegoat taking the fall because QB has struggled. Maybe it just boils down to Bryce not improving his fundamentals and getting worse as pressure has been ratcheted up. Maybe Caldwell just wanted to be the only voice for Bryce the last 1.5 months. McCown will succeed down the road, he is charismatic and smart.
  9. He would be a great front office member. Just like Luke would've Potentially coaching too but not just straight into being a HC without any experience.
  10. Some. I don't know that we can change a ton with only 6 weeks left. I do think more play action, boot action, RPO are easy to add and will help. Gotta try something because the same poo wasn't working.
  11. I think Fitt is all but gone. I don't see any chance he stays around. This is the way.
  12. I think the GM is getting fired anyway. And probably Suleiman with him. Agree that signing Brown outright is important but an extension doesn't HAVE to happen this offseason; just would make the most sense. I'd imagine Dan Morgan and Adrian Wilson will also go (but I'd be cool keeping both on staff).
  13. Brown extension, Luvu extension, and Burns is third priority. I hope that his value has dropped enough that we can make it work with Burns.
  14. First part yes. He has. Especially his pocket presence. Second part, absolutely not true. He made several of those throws this past game. Were you watching?
  15. Brown has earned the contract that Burns thought he deserved.
  16. Tepper is a smart man. He has proven that in his business success. I know that he wants the Panthers to win. I'm hopeful he re-evaluates his lack of success with Carolina and realizes his involvement is a contributing factor. Swallowing his ego and realizing Reich was a mistake and admitting it 11 weeks in is a sign. Firing Fitterer at the end of the year is the second step. Hiring a coach/GM search firm to assist is the next sign that he realizes that. He will never acknowledge his "meddling" to the public or media but those two things show that he is learning. We are stuck with him so I'm choosing to be optimistic that he will swallow his pride and get out of his own way.
  17. Duce getting cut because Miles Sanders hasn't done poo all year and we kept playing him. McCown has not coached up Bryce at all. Fundamentals have gotten worse. Too many voices. Caldwell wants to isolate all the messaging.
  18. Our fanbase is crazy. This happens every time an interim coach takes over. Nothing new here. But lets blame Bryce again.
  19. Tepper did not fire these guys. It was done by Tabor/Caldwell.
  20. This must have done by Tabor or Caldwell. Tepper isn't firing position coaches.
  21. 75% of snaps in the NFL are out of shotgun in the modern NFL.
  22. I think you are choosing to only see his faults and arguing wildly with anyone that does the opposite. He has faults but he also has strengths and I've pointed them out. But sure, just insult; No reason even attempting to have a rational football conversation with some you.
