  1. You must be referring to the 1st half of the season. He's played REALLY well lately. Had 2 sacks last week.
  2. It would get buried in there and this is actual information. So a new thread is warranted.
  3. It said she went there. Not spent all night there. Semantics but your exaggeration doesn't help.
  4. So now he threw her onto a bed covered in loaded in automatic weapons, shotguns, and pistols. This story keeps getting crazier.
  5. Yes, you would think his attorney or Rosenhaus could've brought him a polo or something to look a little less 'brutish'.
  6. My only point is the injuries don't match the alleged warrant. He 'flung her around the room, slammed her on floor and bathtub, threw on couch, and strangled her'. She has some bruises and scratches. Also, why does she have an attorney present at his court hearing? Isn't it up to the state at this point?
  7. So than maybe this is just a big misunderstanding. They were just having a drunk jujitsu training session.
  8. Care to explain how you strangle somebody with 'control'? Do you strangle just a little bit? Can you also 'slam' someone with control? What about throw? All of these actions are what the warrant stated.
  9. He apparently held her down while Hardy called 911. Sounds like that could easily cause a welt on her back. Also, if she wasn't being an aggressor, than why did she have to be held down? I don't want to come off as condoning any abuse towards women but this story is very very fishy.
  10. This is sounding more and more like someone is being set up for a civil lawsuit to come. I just can't believe the warrant stating Hardy threw her down twice and strangled her if she only had some scratches and bruises on her back. If he really did those things, she would be hospitalized. And also, if he really did that, why the hell would he call 911 on himself?
  11. Also, if he strangled her, why is he only charged with a misdemeanor? A 290 pound NFL player strangling a 120 pound woman would cause serious injury to her, not sure I believe this.
  12. And then......called 911 on himself? If he strangled her, where was marks on her neck? Where is the 'friend' in all of this? Not saying this isn't true but the story seems much more complicated than this warrant claims.
  13. Victim's attorney said that Hardy's friend held her down while Hardy called 911. Sounds like the wrong person is in jail.......
  14. Judge described bruising and welts on the victim's back.
  15. At least we know he didn't punch her or hit her. Sounds like a grabbed/restrained her. Cops saw marks, took him to jail.
  16. According to an incident report, police responded to a call around 4:18 a.m. Tuesday at the 100 block of North Tryon Street. A 24-year-old woman, who said she and Hardy had been in a relationship since September, said Hardy physically assaulted and threatened her, according to the report. The report states she suffered minor injuries – bruises and scratches – and she refused treatment. The report says the victim had been drinking alcohol. Hardy was booked into Mecklenburg jail just before 1 p.m. Tuesday, said Sheriff’s Office Spokeswoman Julia Rush. He was photographed, fingerprinted and spoke with a magistrate who denied him bond. Rush said it’s typical in domestic violence cases for suspects to be denied bond for a day-long “cooling-off period.” Hardy’s first appearance before a district court judge has not been scheduled, but that usually occurs within a day of an arrest. That judge would have the authority to set a bond for Hardy. Twitter and Instagram posts suggest Hardy was at Bubble, a champagne lounge and nightclub located in Epicentre, on Monday night before the reported incident. 17. I certainly hope that's not the case but can't say I'd be surprised.

  19. So I guess the saying is true, nothing good happens after 2AM.... well, i guess except consensual sex and late night pizza.
  20. Person reports: CLT police responded to DMV call at 4:18 a.m., interviewed victim. Arrest warrants obtained. Hardy turned himself in; booked at 1 pm. today.
