Well, he is a free agent now so that's one reason.

I've never posted any type of "sources" because I don't have any.But I have a good friend that is friends with her in Wilmington. Said she would get hammered drunk and coked out and brag to her friends about getting 200K for this. Also, said she is still in Wilmington and has been there for a while now. Not out of state or in islands like speculation. Take it for what you will.

He goes to Atlanta and we cry about wasting 13.1 million.

Report: Panthers Not Expected To Bring Back Hardy

According to Jason Phil Cole (journalist) Hardy reached a settlement with Holder. I'll let that comment speak for itself. -
Report: Panthers Not Expected To Bring Back Hardy

The ONLY thing I hope is that he's not in the NFC South next year. I'm betting Atlanta throws a huge heap of cash at him. They tried to low ball CJ and it came back to haunt them (remember, they ended up with Ray Edwards). -
Reed is wrong. Person has word straight from Rivera that it was his ankle.
-
Panthers were 0-2 without Star, gave up 149 rushing YPG, to the 31st and 14th ranked rushing offense.
-
He was at practice yesterday so it could have happened then or outside of practice. OR they just discovered it because he had fresh pain after practicing.
-
You must be referring to the 1st half of the season. He's played REALLY well lately. Had 2 sacks last week.
-
It would get buried in there and this is actual information. So a new thread is warranted.

Per Ian Rapoport. Huge, huge loss.
-
It said she went there. Not spent all night there. Semantics but your exaggeration doesn't help.
-
So now he threw her onto a bed covered in loaded in automatic weapons, shotguns, and pistols. This story keeps getting crazier.
-
Yes, you would think his attorney or Rosenhaus could've brought him a polo or something to look a little less 'brutish'.
-
I found the irony there too.

Release from jail.
-
My only point is the injuries don't match the alleged warrant. He 'flung her around the room, slammed her on floor and bathtub, threw on couch, and strangled her'. She has some bruises and scratches. Also, why does she have an attorney present at his court hearing? Isn't it up to the state at this point?
-
So than maybe this is just a big misunderstanding. They were just having a drunk jujitsu training session.
-
Care to explain how you strangle somebody with 'control'? Do you strangle just a little bit? Can you also 'slam' someone with control? What about throw? All of these actions are what the warrant stated.
-
He apparently held her down while Hardy called 911. Sounds like that could easily cause a welt on her back. Also, if she wasn't being an aggressor, than why did she have to be held down? I don't want to come off as condoning any abuse towards women but this story is very very fishy.
-
This is sounding more and more like someone is being set up for a civil lawsuit to come. I just can't believe the warrant stating Hardy threw her down twice and strangled her if she only had some scratches and bruises on her back. If he really did those things, she would be hospitalized. And also, if he really did that, why the hell would he call 911 on himself?
-
Also, if he strangled her, why is he only charged with a misdemeanor? A 290 pound NFL player strangling a 120 pound woman would cause serious injury to her, not sure I believe this.
-
And then......called 911 on himself? If he strangled her, where was marks on her neck? Where is the 'friend' in all of this? Not saying this isn't true but the story seems much more complicated than this warrant claims.
