Child injured by Britt Reid has permanent brain injuries
Shocker replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Police have said Britt Reid admitted to investigators to having had "two or three drinks" along with prescribed Adderall before the crash. He needs to get serious time for this....unacceptable behavior -
Man, it is an amazingly brutal fact that this franchises fans have not been able to see this team in person. The new Hive would have been so sweet. Future season ticket holder incoming

NBC's Peter King wont be suprised if Mac Jones goes ahead of Lance
Shocker replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I want Big Mac Jones at this point. I am converted. I keep watching him and he is the #3 guy. -
Center Position: Nick Richards and Vernon Carey Jr
Shocker replied to HardcoreHokie's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Agree...Hayward and Rozier have also been amazing. Most people have pigeonholed this team as an 8 seed but forget that IMO. Top 4 seed is totally in reach and major damage in the playoffs is a serious possibility I would just keep the team together and let Kup continue to build. Kup has been amazing -
Lamelo’s impact on this team cannot be really calculated. Totally different squad. I saw Biz with a no look pass to Bridges for the dunk last night. He has made everyone better. Can we sign him to a 20 year deal? He is a special, special player. Malik is a CORE guy right now. Sign him immediately to a long term deal. Those two are the future.

The way things are going for this team I am not making a trade right now. Keep what we have and draft a big next draft. Resign Monk immediately. This squad is straight prime time right now. -
JBs comments...love it With no Gordon Hayward... "It goes back to that term of resiliency, never dropping the sword, never giving in and fighting until the final second,'' Hornets coach James Borrego said. "They had to miss some free throws to help us out, but we found a way. Down men, we found a way to win. Just proud of our group.''

Yeah this will probably happen...too many unknowns with Lance. Question is will he go before Fields as well? I think both would be mistakes personally. -

Kiper Mock 2.0: Mac Jones to Panthers at #8.
Shocker replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am so starved to solve this QB problem I am starting to warm to the idea of Jones at 8. If he gets in top shape and is dedicated to his craft there is some upside there IMO. His total lack of athleticism is hard to get past doe -
Cavs have Drummond on the trading block

I want Kareem Abdul Jabbar but that ain’t happening either -
No worries, everyone knows what you meant. Thanks

Love Michael Carter but to nitpick that is UNC not NCU.

Panthers sign Drew Brees?

Not sure this was mentioned yet but... The Texans currently project at $17,914,930 over the 2021 salary cap according to OverTheCap.com. With big roster needs all over the place, general manager Nick Caserio and his staff of cap wizards are working overtime to solve that riddle all on its own. If the Texans trade Deshaun Watson, the cap will absorb another $21.6 million in dead money spread out over the next several years, hitting Houston for $5.6 mil in 2021 (which would put Houston at $23.5 mil OVER the cap, for those following along at home). Maybe, just maybe, we can thank Bill O’Brien for screwing salary cap things up so bad that Houston is saved from themselves. Damn...gonna be really hard to trade him
-
All the talk about how dumb the Texans brass is pointless. They have all new management and it appears these guys are pretty savvy. If they trade Watson they are going to get a massive haul.
-
I am getting pretty tired of the Watson trade stuff. Lets continue the rebuilding and pass on this soapbox. We are flat out not in a good position to make this trade.
-
Why in the world would we trade Monk atp? Other than the fact that his contract will come up for renewal soon there is no reason. I would resign him to a decent deal personally. He is a dynamic player and is still improving. I love Malik Monk and do not want to lose him.

McGee is old and below average. Pass on that idea

If this is a playoff team a pick outside the lottery isn't too much to pay for me. Bamba is a good developmental big who would fit well IMO. He does play a little soft so I can see the concern.
