    Agree...the more I think about this I really don't want #8 involved. If not, this deal becomes a very good deal for us.

    Both of those teams have QBs on bad contracts they cant get around If they took him....Teddy would be a good bridge QB on a 1 year deal basically

    I don't hate Mitch to be honest especially if he is super cheap. He costs no picks and shouldn’t break the bank. We can always make a run a QB next draft too. I don't hate it.

    Yeah Goff is fuggin terrible and has a really bad contract. He sucks too if I didnt mention that.

    Why in gods name would the Lions take back Goff and that terrible contract. Seems really dumb even for them.

    Agree, both of those teams can easily out bid us. Hopefully Miami doesn't want him and he doesn’t want New York.

    You are probably right, I was thinking they (Texans) prefer to pick one at 3 but maybe not.

    If he goes to Miami I am seriously making a run at Tua. If we can get him for a few non-day 1 picks I think that is a steal. I realize many question his season last year but I think he can be awesome given some time. Tua IMO has just as much upside as anyone in the draft outside of Trevor.

    Agreed. I read up on him and he has an impressive resume and apparently he and Watson know each other as well. This could work out well for them. Our President is 78 so I guess age is just a number anyway.

    If we could get Stafford for a second rounder we really need to do it. I highly doubt it.

    I don't see anything about Mac Jones that says starting QB in the NFL. I would rather have Trask to be honest.

    Trading for Stafford does not keep us from drafting a successor in later drafts. He would be a good get, however I personally think he will go elsewhere, like the Colts and likely be more expensive than people think draft capital wise.
