    I’ve heard on WFNZ a couple times that Rhule hired experienced NFL guys only after Tepper forced him to do it. If true this would mean that Rhule didn’t learn from his mistakes, he just did what the owner demanded he do. Also, is this considered meddling on the part of Tepper and if so are you guys ok with it. Remember it was Tepper who forced Ron to switch to a 3-4 defense.

    Honestly I would feel better if Tepper stepped in front of a microphone and explained why he felt Rhule deserves another year. Him saying nothing and moving on to his sacred soccer team pisses me off more than anything that transpired during our season.

    Would rather Rhule be stuck with Darnold but if we’re going after a qb at least we have someone on the staff now who knew ahead of time that Sam was trash.

    Either we address the line thru both FA and the draft or we acquire a lot more picks and do it draft only. There are a couple guys in FA that could help us, not many though.

    I would do it if the scenario played out. We replace Burns with a younger kid who might be better against the run and we get Linderbaum who I freaking love. Better believe everything is on the table with a desperate HC.

    Bucs are actually leaving open the possibility that Brady doesn’t stay retired which is what I’m expecting to happen. Meanwhile we’re stuck with Darnold, PJ and whoever else Rhule decides he can “fix”.

    I’m on the “Don’t take a freaking qb in this draft Express.” Not one of them is going to help Rhule save his job so it makes zero sense for him to do it.

    This is why playing Brady more was vital. You get him more snaps, see if he’s your LT and if he is you trade down and possibly get Linderbaum. But of course Rhule in all his infinite wisdom refuses to do this and now we don’t know.

    Rams D-line hasn’t done much from what I’ve seen. Four man fronts and Mixon is getting good yards, five man fronts and Burrow is getting the ball out. Don’t count out Cincy.

    Why would Rhule be letting other teams know that he wants Pickett? He’s either very stupid or this is a gigantic smoke screen. I just dont see a coach who needs to win drafting a qb who really isn’t that special and expecting to win.

    Pretty sure Roger has sent memos to all owners telling them Flores is off limits until the lawsuit plays out. If Tepper actually had brass balls(which he doesn’t) he would hire the guy in some capacity.

    Saying he’s the best of this class isn’t saying much. There isn’t one qb this year who anyone can flat out say he’s going to succeed. We would be better off getting a FA and fortifying our line. Then hope we suck bad enough to pick top 3 next year.

    Pickett isn’t a franchise qb. Dude will be average to slightly above average at best. If Rhule does this he’s signing his pink slip early.
