    Maybe if DJ wasn’t forced to play with sub-average qb’s his td’s would be higher. Pretty sure he’s second to only Moss in consecutive 1000+ yard seasons before the age of 26.

    Looking towards the future, what do the Panthers do if Baker plays well? Do they sign him to a long term contract knowing Corral is waiting in the wings?

    It’s pretty clear that in 2022 the secondary is now a strength vs recent years. Our problem on D is going to be our below average LB corp and our hogs stopping the run. We need to sign a couple more guys.

    Sam more than likely isn’t a threat, if Baker plays like he did a couple years ago Matt won’t see the field.

    I’m more pissed at Tepper than Rhule. Matt has clearly shown in his first two years that he’s over-whelmed on an NFL sideline yet Tepper keeps telling us “it’s a long process.” Don’t hate Matt for still being here, hate Tepper for not firing him.

    Laughing at the comments here. Y’all say you would drop the Panthers if Tepper hired Payton are the same people who said if Rhule didn’t get fired you were gone. This place would literally throw a freaking party if we got a HC on the level Payton is on.

    Has everyone forgot that we still have Rhule roaming the sidelines? No matter how well the team plays, he can lose games by making stupid decisions.

    All I want is for Baker to torch the Browns week 1. I hope he throws for 300 yards and four scores. Then I want to hear Bayless talk about the Panthers.

    I’m more worried about what he does off the field. Dude has a terrible freaking attitude and this could affect Corral. I don’t see him acting as a “mentor” so Matt will either learn from a horrible Darnold or learn on his own.

    Browns haven’t won an opener in over 20 years. Rhule will try really hard to end the streak.
