I don’t want someone who has one year of success as a coordinator and I don’t want Dan Quinn. I also don’t want another defensive minded HC. Get a freakin offensive guy in here and hire an actual NFL DC. Maybe promote Wilks.

I wouldn’t say no hope. Hopefully Tepper learned from his Matt mistake and will allow the right person to pick our HC. If we continue losing which I’m pretty sure we will that means we get one of the top qb’s in next years draft. The future of this franchise will depend on if Tepper stays out of the way and allows the football people to make football decisions.

Might be why Tepper went with Wilks.

I think Payton would have plenty of motivation. Of course he would want to embarrass the Aints and then he would want to prove he can win with a different team. Hated him in NO but wouldn’t mind seeing him in black n blue. If we go somewhere else I definitely don’t want some young up and coming assistant who has one year of success. I want a guy who has a proven record of success and is offense minded.

I think people just want to be able to say MATT RHULE GOT FIRED

If Tepper has learned anything since buying this team it should be that you either need a really good OC or a proven offensive minded HC. Tell me if I’m wrong but this team has NEVER had an offensive minded HC.

They aren’t signing Cam unless they just want to fill seats up. Please don’t tell me Cam is the answer to our offensive issues because he isnt.

I don’t see how firing Rhule will fill more seats. Wilks isn’t going to fix our bumbling stumbling offense so you can still expect losses to pile up. Maybe people will get excited knowing that we might finally get a legit HC, but you have to remember Tepper will be heading that… again.

Tepper’s ego made him wait to fire Rhule until he saw a stadium yesterday with 90% opposing fans. His ego will make him think he’s learned from his mistake and now knows what an NFL coach looks like.

Tepper worried about making money thru other venues and doesn’t really give two F’s about his players.

I’m shocked that Tepper made this move already, thought he would wait a couple more games. Hope y’all aren’t assuming this means we look better on Sundays.

Truly sad that four games into a season and were already talking about hiring a new coach. That being said, I’m going with Tepper on this one. I want someone who has already proven they can win.
