When you see a news story about one kajillion dollars in aid sent to Ukraine, it isn't Joe Brandon writing a check drawn off an account named "money for poor people in Western North Carolina".  Cash transfers to Ukraine are minimal and most of the dollar figure is just poo that was sitting around in storage costing millions of dollars in upkeep.  Most of the rest is, as jay said, federal handouts to defense contractors in the good 'ol US of A.  Something as American as apple pie.

By the way, if you think you're upset about gas prices now, just wait til Putin captures a warm water port.  He who shall not be named can talk all the poo he wants about all the drilling he's going to do and how gas is going to be ten cents a gallon or whatever, but crude is a globally traded commodity and that will never happen.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.  Shawn Clark ain't it.

Central is one of the better HBCU programs in the country and Trei Oliver has built a culture there that expects to win.  I'm not surprised they're hanging tough with a P5 program.

I hope he starts the last 16 games.  That's about as sure of a path to the top overall pick in the draft as there is.

After that opening drive by the Saints I was like "I bet the first play will be an interception or fumble".

I defended Bryce last year but this kid can't play fuging quarterback in the NFL.  It's not his fault that he was drafted where he was with the capital we gave up, but that's how it goes.
