You probably have noticed, but it's the same criticisms and flaws, just renewed for each alphabet soup generation. I'm Gen X, nothing like Baby Boomers. Those fugers hung keys around our necks, forced us to be the tech support for the house, program the vcr, operate the microwave, and then left us alone to survive and if pedo creeps got you, then too bad, you should have ran faster. Oh and the vcr time is still blinking.

Now, the stupid generations of millennials and Y think we are cranky, crusty old Boomers.

Do you think somebody like me who's a 40 year old millennial never had to program a VCR, let myself in to the house in the afternoon before my parents got home, operate a microwave, or be tech support for the entire fam-hang on, my aunt is calling me.  She clicked the wrong link again and a popup took over her screen.

  2. When you look at the offense, the biggest thing that could hold it back is clearly Bryce Young.  Maybe you could make a case for a sophomore slump from TMac or Jalen Coker not having a true breakout season or something, but when you look at the depth chart one of those names on there is obviously not like the others.

Meh. If it goes it goes. People still need thicker skin overall. We used to have an entire subforum called Smack Central that was no hards barred and resulted in some all time great content. We used to have rival fans post here regularly and engage in back and forth ribbing which if happened today would trigger tf out of a number of people here today who complain nonstop about current conversations here. In general this place is heavily sanitized compared to the huddle from 10 or 15 years ago. Change is inevitable but this is one of very few remaining original team message boards. Just enjoy it while it lasts.

Big A bragging about his countertops and posting pictures of him picking up Wendy's in his Bentley trying to flex was the best this site ever was imo.  Smack Central was a bunch of people who genuinely might have been kind of crazy just ripping on each other.

Not following. Each account was started with its own email. Are you saying try to "merge" the accounts via email in a sense? That doesn't seem like it would work. Wouldn't the safest way to be is just wait for the new confirmation email from your original account?

If you still have access to the email account you used to register here, you should be fine.  I just had to change mine because the email associated with my account was literally like 20 years old and I haven't had access to it in over 15 years.

I second proton.me if anyone else is in that situation.  I went there, created an account (make sure to choose the "free" option when prompted), signed in, and then went to my account settings here and changed my email to whatever the account I just made was.  Got the confirmation email, followed the directions, and now the email associated with my account here is one I have access to.

The only issue is that, if you don't remember your password for the Huddle, you'll be asked for it when you attempt to update your email.  I actually got locked out of my account for a minute because I had a brain fart and forgot what it was.

  5. Oh yeah, that's the guy who still insists on calling the Commanders the "Redskins".  I'm truly shocked by this dumbass take of his.

Even if TMac only won OROTY "by default" because Egbuka tanked down the stretch, all that means is that if he hadn't, McMillan still would have been an immediate difference maker and one of the best offensive players to come out of the 2025 draft.

Can't deny that Bruce is about as american as you can get, great story teller, compassionate man and hard worker

Oh yeah I was by no means saying anything negative about him as a person, his music just never "clicked" for me the same way some of my favorite artists did.

Bruce is among John Fogerty, Tom Petty, Dolly Parton, and a select few others in rock and country that embody what we tell ourselves America is supposed to be about.  He's an absolute titan.

Sounds like Polian really stepped in it. Said he voted for. Belichick, and now people don’t really believe him because he switched his statement to the old, I don’t remember if I did or didn’t.
IOW he was probably lying about it and is trying to cover himself with the old don’t remember.

I don’t really care about Belichick or Polian, waiting hopefully for good news on Luke.

The Colts FO have always been a bunch of bitch-made complainers.  The basketball score football we got for a few years before two high safety coverage started shutting down the deep passing game originated with Dungy and Irsay whining to the competition committee about the Patriots manhandling Harrison and Wayne.

  8. Josh Allen has similar physical measurables to Cam and is a damn good quarterback in his own right, but he's never done anything like running over the entire conference throwing to the likes of Jerricho Cotchery and Ted Ginn Jr en route to the Super Bowl.

edit: I have no idea where "john allen" came from

Pats gotta be pissed. That's the stuff Lassitter had gotten away with all game.

Same thing happened with the Bills against the Broncos.

I wonder if the refs just flip a coin to decide who they're going to ride hard and put away wet when it comes to pass interference.
