The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
See I think the opposite. The Bucs have rolled us under Brady/Arians twice and they're coming off an embarrassing, completely uncharacteristic loss to the Saints. We're a bottom 5 team in the league right now and there's a log jam at the top of the NFC with Arizona losing last night. Bucs roll over us by 14 minimum imo. -

Strangers With Candy was a great series -
Yeah I was gonna say, two years ago Lamar Jackson led the league in touchdown passes and was MVP. If Tyler Huntley can top that then yeah all the more power to him I guess.

It happened with Matt Moore and Kyle Allen, really looked like we had something and then brrraaap I don't know what got in to Kyle on the back stretch of 2019. It was like we'd get to the red zone and a little voice in his head would tell him to throw an interception. The ATL and SF games were awful.

There's just something magical about QBs who get cut from this team. The league better hope Sam Darnold or Cam Newton doesn't end up in Washington somehow next year.

You could almost buy a championship back then. The NFL was also a much slower game and coaches got more time. Everybody knows the story of Dallas sucking out loud for the first few seasons Johnson and Aikman were there. I remember some dude who got drafted by the Bucs back in the 80s talking about how his high school had a better weight room than Tampa Bay. Also that he got a game ball on Sunday and then a bill in his locker for $50 on Monday.

He plays on a team with one of the better head coaches of the last 20 years backed by one of the strongest organizations in football with an entrenched culture of winning and competing for championships. This current Panthers team would only be elevated to mediocre if we had Lamar Jackson himself at QB, let alone Tyler Huntley. If Huntley went to Pittsburgh, Green Bay, or one of the other orgs that's good-great but cycling out their current QB that would be different. Or hell even a place like Denver or Seattle that's flawed but could rebound with smart FO moves.

Is QCB still on that station? Always hated that dumbass.
