  1. Big "let's just get this poo over with" energy in the tunnel
  2. We're really about to get nae-nae'd by an UDFA DII rookie quarterback on national TV aren't we
  3. Whoa they actually cut together a highlight package for us. Feel bad for whatever intern had to pull that off.
  4. Some funky score like 26-10 Bears. Despite the score the defense performs admirably and forces field goals on multiple short fields.
  5. I just started in on a 12 pack of Genesee. I'm ready for this no matter how ugly it gets.
  6. Here we see a quarterback failing to elevate his team
  7. Roster spots are valuable and players are being evaluated constantly. If you practice like poo, aren't paying attention during film study, you're an idiot who can't grasp the scheme, etc. your ass is gone and they'll bring in somebody that can do that stuff. Your phone won't be ringing either because the NFL is an elite enclave, everybody knows everybody, and word gets around quickly. You're especially screwed if you played for some DII school that didn't play anybody and nobody has heard of. It reminds me of when Europeans poo talk American football by calling the players fat or whatever. If that was true then any dipshit over a certain height and weight could come get paid a hundred million dollars to play in the NFL.
  8. The same reason anybody makes it on YouTube. It's entertaining and easy to digest. If somebody is one of those ThE fIlM dOeSn't LiE people then I don't see what's not to like.
  9. Yeah clearly he's an idiot. You going to criticize anything in the breakdown substantially or just poo talk his pro career, as if making it to the goddamn NFL let alone playing pro football for like 10 years doesn't put you in the top 1% of football boys.
  10. I think of it like... consider somebody on YouTube breaking down a Segovia or Django Reinhardt piece. Are they as good as them? fug no. That doesn't mean they don't understand what's going on and can't comprehend it at a high level, though.
  11. He was in the NFL for a long time and played for a bunch of different teams. He's not like Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson or something physically but you'd think he'd understand how to run an offense and watch film if he kept ending up on rosters.
  12. Maybe "slow" is the wrong word. There have been plenty of guys who blazed in shorts but can't get separation, run bad routes, can't catch, and so on. Whatever you want to call it, everybody not named Adam Thielen is that.
  13. I will say that around 9:20 when he missed Chuba in the flat, that was a misread. I don't know why Bryce was locked on Mingo there. That said, I mean the ball did hit him in the hands.
  14. All of our WRs are slower than poo rolling up hill. When you see these film breakdowns it really drives it home.
  15. I forgot the game is going to be in Chicago and not Charlotte. Yeah this is going to be a complete ass-kicking and get right game for the Bears.
  16. The players hate it, the games usually suck, and so on. Just the NFL trying to wring another nickel out of an already ultra-saturated market. That said, yeah I'll be watching.
  17. Luke Kuechly was talking about this in the pregame on the radio broadcast. He plays a different side of the ball of course but he explained it like, he played his best when he could play fast. Meaning instinctively and reflexively rather than having to think a lot about what he was doing. Of course he'd binge film and put in the prep work and all that, but in the game he'd get the call, get everybody lined up, and when the ball was snapped he'd take his gap assignment, cover his man, drop into whatever coverage, and that's it. And he's a first ballot Hall of Famer because of it.
  18. I remember pulling up the schedule in the second half of the season, seeing some lame matchup like Titans-Jags or Cards-Rams on TNF when all those teams sucked, and thinking "who the hell would want to watch that". This was in the 2010s. Now the rest of the country is looking at this game and thinking the same thing. Our defense is as injured as I can remember and if Bryce Young plays remotely like he did yesterday the Bears could legitimately win in a blowout. If we get an effort like we did against the Texans we might grind out a win. I'll split the difference in those scenarios: Bears win 19-10 in a shitfest. The stadium will be full though because they have a shitload of fans in the area, like in 2010 when they owned BOA.
  19. idk, because I want to I guess. I don't write the checks or work for the team, so if getting told "haha I was right" on the internet by strangers is the worst thing that can happen, the stakes are low.
  20. lol remember when he debuted some signature line at Belk or something the week after a loss and the board burned down over it WHY ISN'T HE STUDYING HIS PLAY BOOK
  21. Every hog Cowboy fan within 200 miles of Charlotte will pay whatever it takes to get a ticket.
