Boykin to Visit per Rapoport
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to NYPantherFan's topic in Carolina Panthers
the division sucked last year, it's true thankfully the panthers were buoyed by the contributions of mike remmers, trai turner, andrew norwell, kelvin benjamin, tre boston, bene benewikere, and kony ealy. all of whom were either signed or drafted by king dipshit dave gettledouche who ruined the panthers and can't run a football team -

wouldn't it be funny if he left without signing a contract and then signed somewhere else really, really cheap -

The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to 0DegreesKelvin's topic in Carolina Panthers
nobody important has said anything about it. this would be the biggest news of the entire FA if it was true. 99% sure this is bullshit -

Bersin signed to one year deal
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to Darth Biscuit's topic in Carolina Panthers
wow nice comeback man especially considering he probably was signed to be a wide receiver, didn't start the season as a punt returner, and was only forced into the role once corey brown was injured -

does he have any practice squad eligibility left? it's entirely possible that's where he could end up instead of stealing marcus lucas or whoever's reps as the 5th wideout -

every team in the league has guys like bersin floating around the bottom of their roster take it easy you big babies -
Ted Ginn Jr agrees to 2 year deal with Panthers
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
this maybe also says something about the "gettleman burns bridges and players/agents hate him and won't let their clients talk to the panthers" rhetoric you see out of some posters on this site -

i hope we draft an equally disappointing player at the bottom of the first this year -

there's always that guy reminds me of the people talking about how they weren't impressed with cam's rookie campaign going in to the 2012 season. "well you can bring up the stats all you want but i want wins not stats garbage time not clutch blah blah blah" -

that read more like an emotional outburst than a real opinion "bah don't tell me that he was a rookie he dropped some first down balls and well maybe i'm just too old-school and i appreciate the simpler aspects of football (which means my opinion is more valuable and i know more than you) but i wasn't impressed. i also don't want to acknowledge that he did anything worth a poo as a rookie because that would be mean i'd be settling somehow" -

who's the top tackle that's likely to hit FA now? bulaga? i've seen chris hairston mentioned as a possibility. -

it goes around and around in circles. many of the same people poo-talking the ted ginn signing and posting about what a travesty it was that brandon lafell was going to be our number two receiver in 2013 pitched a fit when both of them were let walk last offseason. i think gettleman has been impressive so far when it comes to talent evaluation, albeit with a few hiccups. if he sees something in michael oher then i'm at the point now where i trust his judgment until proven otherwise. once his OL signings started to get some playing time the panthers did vaguely resemble an actual NFL team last season. -

someone can be negative while making a well reasoned argument although the endless dogpiling can get annoying what's making this forum unreadable is the avalanche of lazy zero content shitposting. popping into a thread just to say that someone sucks, posting your priceless insight about how the huddle is full of hypocrites because of what they said about xyz player last year, posting some tired bullshit about cam newton being a ferrari or the space shuttle or whatever-it's played out -
Panthers Sign Michael Oher
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
it's probably a compromise between the best player on his board and team needs. like if marcus mariota were to be available when we pick somehow i doubt gettleman would select him. it's more apparent in the later rounds though. drafting ealy instead of going morgan moses or another tackle, double dipping at defensive back and actually trading up to get bene, drafting a guard in the third instead of reaching for a tackle prospect, and so on. -

i'm not convinced that michael oher sucks yet if somebody could perhaps post one more article from a media outlet discussing the topic i may finally be swayed
