  1. there was this hilarious video on youtube years ago that was like five or six charger fans reacting to that play as it happened live my favorite part was how you could hear somebody mutter "that took longer than one second" or something to that effect after the play as if it shouldn't have counted or something
  2. yeah wallace was fined for it later even though he wasn't actually flagged in the game: http://newsok.com/panthers-wallace-fined-for-hit-on-simms/article/2888758
  3. he hasn't gotten significant snaps since 2006 simms is somewhat infamous in panthers fandom because al wallace and julius peppers almost literally killed him
  4. i'm 28 and didn't pay attention to pro football before the panthers. the only pro sports team i really gave a crap about was the atlanta braves.
  5. why are there so many posters trying to white knight jameis winston on this site
  6. this is why i have a love/hate relationship with the start of training camp it represents the beginning of football season for people addicted to the NFL but at the same time the blow by blow coverage of guys tweaking this or that, limping off the field, getting carted off and all that is nerve wracking
  7. i couldn't take a dallas cowboy super bowl victory you all think the tom terrific circlejerk is bad? you haven't seen poo
  8. dallas media: every defensive lineman in the NFL:
  9. okay so the red carpet was rolled out and he was wined and dined by the owner and everybody cried at his amazing press conference where he talked about how amazing and awesome everything is going to be so what happens in training camp when he's getting his ass kicked by veteran nfl defensive lineman every day, getting poo talked to him, and carrying pads
  10. a rookie just stood up in front of the country and basically told every defense in the league that they're going to get their poo wrecked
  11. if they don't at least make it to the conference title game then it should be considered a failure that's the flip side of being a paper champion
  12. seattle was openly not interested http://blog.seattlepi.com/football/2015/05/07/are-seattle-seahawks-pursuing-lael-collins/#32669101=0
  13. there are 30 other forums doing the exact same thing as us right now
  14. couldn't you say the exact same thing for all 32 teams though. or if the list just has to be narrowed down all the teams that need an upgrade at tackle? i can't blame anyone for getting queasy about drafting a prospect who wasn't cleared as a person of interest for a rae carruth-level crime
  15. i've been here long enough to know that if cam was getting killed because a rookie UDFA was starting nobody would care about hurst's "awesome upside" that's just my take on it
  16. the panthers run a tight ship and there isn't much that gets out of our front office but since you asked: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/07/report-lael-collins-in-dallas-to-visit-cowboys/
  17. that's not what i'm arguing -40 PFF grade and gave up something like 32 combined sacks/hits/hurries. i'm not saying bell is good but to keep bringing up a guy that, again, nobody would care about if he wasn't a tar heel and played nearly as bad is lol
  18. so you get to make a positive statement that the panthers didn't pursue him at all and everybody else has to prove you wrong cool story bro
  19. you'd be wrong because foucault actually graded out higher than him when he got snaps again, nobody would know or care who he was if he wasn't a tar heel and we didn't live in a state with the highest concentration of wal mart UNC fans in the country
