  1. He's been on this site for years mostly as a ride or die Hurney Stan who insists that we would have won multiple Super Bowls if we had had him post-2012 instead of Gettleman. Now that we've all seen Hurney come back and then get fired all over again he's switched hobby horses to talk about how Aqeel Glass is the next Patrick Mahomes and he totally called Brock Purdy being a good quarterback.
  2. People talk about Brady like he was passing for a thousand touchdowns the first time he set foot on the field. In 2001 he threw 18 TDs to 12 INTs and was generally considered a grit it out gamer in contrast to QBs like Peyton Manning for the first couple years of his career. Those early 2000s Patriots teams had the likes of Willie McGinest, Richard Seymour, Ty Law, Rodney Harrison, Tedy Bruschi still in his prime, and so on. They weren't the 2010s Saints or something where they hung 48 on everyone and it didn't matter if they couldn't stop anybody.
  3. You mean you don't like hearing the guy singing to us about Burger King a hundred times in one broadcast
  4. I like how 17 started celebrating too early and basically cost them a 90+ yard touchdown
  5. Hard to tell, it sort of looked like one of his feet got caught and his leg bent forward awkwardly. Not going to mention the a-word.
  6. A Panthers loss would ruin my Sunday, it would be one of the main things on my mind on Monday, and it would be Tuesday or Wednesday before I was over it and thinking about the next game. It was like that for me probably up to or around 2010. A few games into that season I had the realization that we were going nowhere fast and it was going to be a long climb back to playoff contention. I adopted the mindset that the Panthers were terrible, they were probably going to lose, and it wasn't worth my energy or time. It's a bummer that Bryce Young's tenure got off to an inauspicious start, but them's the breaks. This is a hard league to win in and we're starting from scratch with a rookie QB and new coaching staff. Those are long odds.
  7. For a moment we all knew what it felt like to have legions of jealous losers talking poo about you. It was so fun when people would run their mouths about how overrated Cam is or whatever and Panthers fans could be like "so what, scoreboard".
  8. We've been in the bad place for years now. I was so angry after we lost to the Saints in the playoffs after the 2017 season but little did we know...
  9. Give Brian Burns whatever he wants. The most dominant defensive player we've had since Luke Kuechly
  10. Cooked a big ass pot of meat sauce all day yesterday with tree big cans of crushed tomatahs, beef short rib, hot italian sausage, and meatballs. Probably going to be digging into the leftovers while overdosing on football all day.
  11. Brooooo this weekend of college football has been nuts
  12. Tejas can just sit on the ball now. That conversion being that easy was a killer.
  13. If Bama is mid the bitching from Tide fans is going to be unbearable. Yeah it really sucks to root for a program having a down year after winning six natties and basically being top dog in the country for 15 years
  14. Hell yeah here we go, this thread has been too nice so far Never ask: -A woman her age -A man his salary -A UNC fan what year they graduated
  15. Proud of my fellas. Aguilar is legit and the OL held up reasonably well against a defense loaded with studs. Bring on ECU.
  16. Think App State runs into a buzzsaw today after the Tez Walker shitshow. Joey Aguilar coming in was a shot in the arm last week but slowing down UNC's pass rush is a tall order if what they showed against South Carolina is legit.
  17. Already storming this morning in Chapel Hill and it looks like crappy weather this afternoon/evening. App/UNC will probably end up in lightning delay.
  18. Yeah the perfect weather with low humidity we had last weekend was apparently a cruel joke. That artificial playing surface gets way hotter than grass too. On a day like today the field-level temperature would probably be damn near 120
  19. 4th/5th all time in sacks depending on whether you look at post-1982 when it became an official stat. First ballot all day.
