  1. If you're on death's door like me and you remember Cam's rookie year, the fact that Dalton is starting a game for the Panthers is actually kind of funny and intriguing. The "Cam is a bust because he doesn't win games" people generally held up Dalton as a better quarterback then.
  2. National Hurricane Center's 5:00 update has it at 70 MPH max sustained winds. It could easily reach hurricane strength before landfall. Some parts of southeast NC will probably get hurricane force winds.
  3. Yeah. I'm looking forward to the hundred posters who "aren't invested in the Panthers and haven't been for years" talking about it nonstop for the next week too.
  4. I can tell looking at Purdy's face that he's way in over his head. Just threw right into coverage several times, and getting hit almost instantly with nobody open is not an excuse. Watch for the 49ers to fake an injury so they can bench him, it's over for Purdycels
  5. Unless you were one of the people saying that Bryce Young, who as far as I know has never had a coach or a scout say a single negative thing about his character or attitude, is actually a fragile soy boy who can't handle adversity and the team had to fake an injury to bench him so he doesn't Cobain himself, I wasn't talking about you.
  6. This is lame, can we get the guy with the clown fetish in here to make some real memes please
  7. 2 games into the season and we're relitigating Hurney vs. Gettleman Panthers football has arrived people
  8. Yeah the Dashboard Confessional reference was pretty funny, I don't give myself enough credit sometimes
  9. Or maybe he's just extremely mentally tough and was able to keep a stiff upper lip through the pain. Of course that would mildly contradict what many of the neckbeards on this site have been saying since Tuesday about Bryce Young locking himself in his room listening to Dashboard Confessional and refusing to come out until Frank Reich promised to let him skip a game
  10. Damn the Huddle went from meltdown mode => conspiracy mode => sports psychologist mode => "okay so maybe what the staff said happened was plausible" in record time
  11. Anybody who was on here when posters were saying every day that Cam couldn't hold Tim T_bow's jock isn't fazed by this
  12. He's from Sugar Hill GA. The only gang related to that did Rapper's Delight, and they're from a different Sugar Hill.
  13. Man that Cowboys game is going to be tough if you're in BOA though. Dallas looks to be one of the best teams in the league this year, so you know every hog Cowboys fan within a hundred miles of Charlotte would be willing to sell his own kids for a ticket.
  14. Sometimes it comes from unpredictable places. When we lost to the Falcons at home in 2014, what had been a bad, losing Panthers team got into a bench clearing brawl with Atlanta. imo that set the tone for the rest of the season and 2015.
  15. Really surprised a free rusher getting to the quarterback in the pocket resulted in a sack
  16. The average NFL player was either a senior in high school or a college freshman in 2015. The average age of a pro is like 26, and young NFL fans loved Cam. They probably liked that Panthers team and had fun watching them. They also weren't old enough to have become bitter losers pissing on the internet about how the Panthers "don't play the game the right way" and sitting on their couches yelling for the ref to throw the flag because Cam dabbed. That and sports media outlets pandering to people like that is where most of the controversy came from that year.
  17. We'll randomly beat the Cowboys or Dolphins while looking like we've never played football before for the rest of the season.
  18. Yeah thanks for visiting us from 8 years ago. Say you think this Trump guy has a shot at the nomination?
  19. DB would have ripped that Skeeter Valentine looking motherfuger's head off with the spine still attached like Sub Zero. These guys are professionals, their health is their career and if Michael Thomas was poo talking Shaq who just lost a year of a very finite career then that's out of bounds. I mean poo hasn't Michael Thomas been hurt for like two years straight anyway? The Saints have just always been packed to the gills with douchebags. Cam Jordan, Kenny Vaccaro, Michael Thomas, of course Sean Payton. Drew Brees had a squeaky clean image but he was an asshole too.
  20. E Cat Panther. Ran off the site after repeatedly running afoul of the mods on a couple of different accounts in the 'box. He might still be here on an alt. He's a rapper too.
  21. For all of Donte Jackson's faults he's one of the most fearless players on our defense. He's not intimidated by anybody.
  22. His ass hit in bounds with possession. Think Byrd and butt drag swag except more apparent.
  23. idk that ball sure does look like it's moving around a good bit after hitting the ground
