Interim Coach.. when Rhule is fired.
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
fyi in case you guys were wondering, Steve Wilks ended up being the interim head coach -
Another TD and the Saints are blowing this thing open. Considering we could have beaten this team, not bad for a squad quarterbacked by a middle schooler and Great Value John Fox

Imagine not giving up on Bryce Young by September 24, 2023 -
Really discouraged by how Jordan Love is lighting up the Saints

Official Panthers at Seahawks GameDay Thread!
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Remember when we went to Seattle in 2010 with Jimmy Clausen and looked like a borderline NFL team for about a half? We got up 14-0 and then gave up 31 unanswered points lmao. -

Gardner-Webb is no slouch. Narii Gaither is a stud and it seems like they play up to the competition. They pushed us around in Boone into the third quarter before they started turning the ball over and App State was able to pull away. If I was ECU I would be on upset alert -
Are you even watching the next game?
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you're on death's door like me and you remember Cam's rookie year, the fact that Dalton is starting a game for the Panthers is actually kind of funny and intriguing. The "Cam is a bust because he doesn't win games" people generally held up Dalton as a better quarterback then. -
National Hurricane Center's 5:00 update has it at 70 MPH max sustained winds. It could easily reach hurricane strength before landfall. Some parts of southeast NC will probably get hurricane force winds.

Are you even watching the next game?
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. I'm looking forward to the hundred posters who "aren't invested in the Panthers and haven't been for years" talking about it nonstop for the next week too. -
I can tell looking at Purdy's face that he's way in over his head. Just threw right into coverage several times, and getting hit almost instantly with nobody open is not an excuse. Watch for the 49ers to fake an injury so they can bench him, it's over for Purdycels

Possible Play Bryce Was Hurt On
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Unless you were one of the people saying that Bryce Young, who as far as I know has never had a coach or a scout say a single negative thing about his character or attitude, is actually a fragile soy boy who can't handle adversity and the team had to fake an injury to bench him so he doesn't Cobain himself, I wasn't talking about you. -
This is lame, can we get the guy with the clown fetish in here to make some real memes please

Yeah the Dashboard Confessional reference was pretty funny, I don't give myself enough credit sometimes -

Or maybe he's just extremely mentally tough and was able to keep a stiff upper lip through the pain. Of course that would mildly contradict what many of the neckbeards on this site have been saying since Tuesday about Bryce Young locking himself in his room listening to Dashboard Confessional and refusing to come out until Frank Reich promised to let him skip a game
