Why is Adam Thielen able to get open?
The NFL Shield At Midfield replied to Ricky Prickles's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was from a DII school and wasn't a burner, so the only way he was going to make it in the NFL was if he could catch anything near him and run the entire route tree like a football robot blindfolded. And he can, so good for him and his bank account. -

We're in another era where DLs have the upper hand over OLs imo, which is something I thought would never happen again. The NFL is loaded with absolute freaks that only the elite tackles can handle, and it doesn't square well with the trend of making QBs throw the ball a hundred times per game. So the result is lots of small ball so the QB doesn't get Mortal Kombat fatalities performed on him in the pocket. -

Bears are pounding Foreman and he's carrying their offense, of course. -

Like just for one example, imagine if 2015 Third Leg Greg was on this team. Think we'd be winless? Think that guy who hit Bryce late after the whistle wouldn't be eating out of a straw right now? And that was just one dude. -

If you look back at the 2015 team it was loaded with dogs. Olsen, TD, Cam, Luke, Kalil, Jno, Peanut, and then the second-tier guys like Charles Johnson and Kurt Coleman. So much swagger and personality and all of them would lay it on the line for the guy next to them. We're just a shell now. A zombie team staggering around aimlessly. -

@LinvilleGorge you weren't kidding about this Washington OL, they're trash. They make us look good. -

When fuging Motley Crue came to do hair metal karaoke at BOA a while back, they could have beaten this Panthers team. Even Mick Mars. -

Yeah I think Ron is a black Monday casualty. Another guy who is a good/great coordinator, has a few great moments as a head coach, but isn't going to win you a Lombardi. Similar trajectory as John Fox. -

They're breaking their foot off in Detroit's ass. Seems like the Lions stole one in week 1 and played some bad teams (especially us). Not today. -

It could be annoying when posters like that one West Virginia homer who used to post here, might have been Squirrel I don't remember, would talk ridiculous poo about how Geno Smith would be better in the NFL than Cam. But I mean poo if somebody isn't taking it there, then what's the problem? -

I don't see what the big deal is about following guys who played for your college team. I mean I do it for App St-oh, that's right. -

So do the Lions have like sleeper agents in every city in the country or what. I'm seeing lots of blue jerseys at away games. -

He still hasn't matched what he did as a rookie, and now he's on the first year of a bazillion dollar extension. Maybe he'll become another Jared Goff or Alex Smith and not really put it all together until the back half of his career, but who knows. -

I got Lions over Ravens and Giants in a mild upset over Washington Hut Hut Hike Tackle Football Boys e: poo I forgot Tyrod Taylor was even still in the NFL. I wouldn't have minded him here at all as a bridge after Cam. -
Yeah I've seen enough, he needs to get shitcanned. Under Satterfield and even Drinkwitz App State was ascendant and looked to be a perennial bowl team lurking around the top 25. Now we're weekly bed-shitters finding ways to lose to programs we should be blowing out of the stadium in the first half.

Penn State is self-destructing, holy poo
-
If that's PSU against like Miami of Ohio they don't call that lmao
-
We'd hate it if you did that

Most legit throw of the day from McCord
-
With Bryce's ball placement I'm surprised it's not a staple of our offense. Doesn't require outrageous arm strength, QB just has to put the ball on the WR well.
-
I hope it becomes such a problem that he falls to the top of the 2nd.

I'll always watch the NFL but it's just kind of a drag when your favorite team is caca dookie
