  1. "Well it's pouring ran and we've had success with our power back running plays under center, guess it's time to switch to the pistol and put the scat back in"
  2. "You don't want to put Carolina back on the field right after they had a successful drive" My man, you clearly haven't watched much Panthers football
  3. I have no idea why the fug you line up in pistol in 3rd and 1 and run it especially after your extremely suspect interior OL has had an uncharacteristically solid game so far
  4. lol it looks like the Bucs fans bailed and the Panthers fans are the only ones in the seats
  5. 80 degrees with 80% humidity in December. Obviously some people like that but, no thanks.
  6. I had completely forgotten about Reddick. I guess that's what happens when you either trade or let walk so many good/great players. It all starts to blur together.
  7. If you can't rush the passer in the modern NFL you're cooked. It's been that way for a long time (since at least the mid 2000s when the DB contact rules changed) but it's even more acute now with QBs routinely attempting 40+ passes per game.
  8. For someone with an alleged noodle arm he actually throws those tough sideline routes pretty well. Like nobody's going to confuse him with the likes of rookie Cam Newton who could throw it into the parking lot left handed sitting down but I think the charges of him having a weak arm are overstated imo. He's not Chad Pennington or something.
  9. Just want to take a moment to give props to those of you in a gameday thread for a 1-10 rudderless football team
  10. One of those lame situations where it one million percent would have stood if called a completion on the field
  11. Deep out which is the toughest throw in football. Could have been a better pass but it looks like a completion.
  12. Ron Rivera and Marty Hurney kept that guy's career alive a good two or three years longer than it should have lasted. People rightfully poo on Fitterer but Hurney was good for drafting some dude out of like Lenoir Rhyne in the second or third round every year
  13. Yeah he's a heavy-footed mauler and it's becoming clear he's not the athletic tackle we need in this zone blocking scheme. In the right scheme he could maybe be a LT but he'd be wiping away his tears with hundred dollar bills as an All Pro LG. It's not like those guys don't get paid.
  14. They're as likely to score as Beavis and Butt-head
  15. So... the flag wasn't for the hit? Now that was confusing.
