  1. seattle doesn't run a coryell variant and they don't need a dominant vertical threat for the system they run their offensive talent is extremely well suited to the west coast concepts in their passing offense. the seahawks' passing attack is just built differently than ours is and the comparison has never made sense to me. they actually had the fewest pass attempts in the league last season.
  2. yeah just reading the thread you can see that at least a few people have already decided that collins showed up at 800 south mint in a suit with a bouquet of flowers asking to be signed by the panthers and jer jer slammed the door in his face and released the hounds it's only a matter of time really
  3. yeah either that or 31 other teams throwing offers at this kid will cost us his services. you people frame it up like he's going to be begging to sign here and he's carolina's to lose or something. news flash it's a blue chip player at a high value position who will be signing for what amounts to peanuts with one team out of 32.
  4. yeah we get sec out the ass here during college football season and it's something i've always noticed when the saints were playing their tiger stadium games in 2005 i think you could still kind of see them with the outside hash marks too
  5. There were points on Thursday night where four of my ignored users posted sequentially. It was funny to see. I think more people should use that feature if only to spite attention hungry special snowflakes who think their opinions are sacrosanct.
  6. man i love the draft in one day we go from 300 players that are going to be gone when the panthers pick to 300 that were an absolute lock to fall to us
  7. i mean, if the saints had nabbed funchess, you know what would be going down on this site right now
  8. astute observation h-dog did in fact give up a first to move up in the 2nd and get everette brown in 2009
  9. 1. beg gettledouche to trade up with our sack of picks and get cam some "weapons" 2. nippleshorts does it and everyone hates it 3. ??? 4. profit
  10. i hated it. i mean damn fletcher cox was right there and we needed a DT so bad!1 i learned a lesson from that draft
  11. panther fans: "oh god i can't believe our GM added another body to a stacked position group! there are only so many snaps to go around! terrible pick" colts fans: "oh god i can't believe our GM added another body to a stacked position group! there are only so many snaps to go around! terrible pick" oh and there's this one team in our conference keeping us from super bowl glory and if only we would have drafted a (defensive/offensive player) we'd be able to compete with them but nooooooooo
  12. colts fans discuss luck's latest weapon: gee why does that sound familiar
  13. see it's like everybody knows what's probably going to happen but then they get all pissy when it actually does this team's identity and core philosophy is defense
  14. aww man i really thought this was going to be the year our defensive minded front office and coaching staff drafted a hundred wide receivers
  15. the discussion of this prospect dovetails nicely with the non-stop complaints about the panthers only being interested in "fielding a team of choir boys" and how this organization "doesn't care about winning" among the usual boilerplate on this site. if some team drafts him and he suddenly turns into mr. rogers then that's wonderful for them. i can understand why several teams, including the panthers, aren't sold.
  16. you're not stupid and i think you know that this isn't a real counter argument framing it up like anyone who disagrees with you possesses some kind of indefensible, unrealistic viewpoint is just strawn man bullshit
  17. the main thing that makes me think a lot of this is driven by fanboyism is the kind of rhetoric coming out of the DGB camp on this board when confronted with what he's accused of there is a hell of a lot of smoke surrounding the accusations against him which people seem hell-bent on downplaying like it's a simple he-said she-said with no evidence and no paper trail. or that it's just "alleged" so we can safely assume that absolutely nothing happened and it can all vanish into the ether. or perhaps even a tacit admission that yeah okay something similar to what he's accused of probably did happen but hey he was a young kid and it was a "mistake" like getting caught with a tiny bit of weed or a drinking ticket or buying a stolen laptop and then throwing it out a window because he was scared.
  18. these are all documented things that anybody can go read about "buh buh charges were never filed" is all the DGB defense force has
