  1. I agree... Although I think it is likely it will come down to Frank Smith, Bobby Slowick, or Mike Macdonald and quite frankly.... I would be ok with these three. I am particularly intrigued by Macdonald because of his background with both Harbaughs and really has a dynamic defense. Don't get me wrong, Evero has done an amazing job with the little he had this season but there is something about that Ravens defense that just puts him over so don't sleep on MacDonald!
  2. On a hunch or hearing from sources??
  3. I don't even think he is on the list of candidates for this cycle to get interviewed by the Panthers... As far as I am aware of, he has only interviewed for the Chargers for their HC position. Then again, he was a late candidate last year and had already interviewed last year twice so maybe they have enough conviction on him to determine his rank in the coaching search.
  4. Soooo... Who becomes the premier coach in NCAAF now that Saban is gone? Kirby Smart??
  5. Here's an interesting take on potential GM, Alec Halaby from a Eagles podcast prospective. Mainly talks about the Commanders interviewing him but still... Link below: What Alec Halaby brings to the table as GM
  6. I instantly thought of that but I think it is more plausible that Dabo Sweeney will leave Clemson for Alabama
  7. Has anyone noticed that on both the GM and HC coaching search, some come from the same team? I may be reading too much into this but it almost seems like the Panthers may want to pair a GM and coach who has already worked together before. Matteo+MacDonald or Matteo+Monken from the Ravens Greenberg+Canales from the Buccaneers Frank Smith spent time with the Saints which Kai Harley was a part of the Saints during that time Dan Morgan and Dan Quinn worked together in Seattle and so did Ed Dobbs as well. it's just interesting about all the connections...
  8. Any Harbaugh fans will love him because he is cut from that tree if we don't get Jim Harbaugh. I think he will pull some Harbaugh guys from the offensive side to help get this offense going.... Definitely one of my top 5 to become HC.
  9. Todd Monken is an interesting name, and a bit on the older side but has produce good offenses at Georgia and now with the Ravens.... Still prefer the other coordinator though, which is, Mike MacDonald
  10. I'd laugh so hard if the Patriots go left field and hire Rivera as HC if Belichick is gone.
  11. As someone who lives in GA and works with Falcon fans, I can tell you that they are rejoicing. Much like us, Atlanta has had their revolving door at QB and it proved costly yesterday with playoff implications on the line. So it was funny hearing a couple of my buddies say,"I can't believe I am saying this but GO PANTHERS! Beat the Bucs!"
  12. Just a theory: What if Belichick comes in and keeps Evero on as DC, with the promise that Belichick is there for a transitioning period before handing the reigns over to Evero as HC? Belichick would then move to a GM/President role with the team to focus on transactions and getting the players in.
  13. Call me stubborn all you like but I am not giving up on a ROOKIE QB after one season... Said it from the beginning and will stay with it. Now if he is unsuccessful next season with a new coaching staff, my tone will change but if we suck, at least 2025 we will have a top pick and will go QB again
  14. Not that I am advocating for either here (because I really don't want either coach), I would argue that Tepper would hire Belichick over Harbaugh for one glaring reason ..... Belichick has the Superbowl rings
  15. Lawd help us all if Dan Quinn ends up HC. Great DC but no, just no, to him being a HC again. If you are going to go defensive minded, just stick with Evero or go with Mike MacDonald of the Ravens
  16. I would not be surprised at all if the next HC ends up being Bill O'Brien... Don't put it past Tepper to do it lol
  17. It's fairly pointless arguing with Bryce haters too... Cause y'all constantly have a reason to blame everything on Bryce... And for the record, some of us arent necessarily trying to make the case that we are Bryce Young fans, but more so the fact that we have more realistic expectations then some the Bryce haters who thinks this is Madden and he is automatically going to an all-pro in year 1 but yet, continues to use the same bull excuse, " Well CJ is playing better" crap. If it was any other rookie QB, and they were struggling, I would still give them more than a year to show promise.
  18. My only hope for Tepper is that he will learn the lessons from teams like the Lions and Browns and allow his front office do the leg work to hire the best possible coaching staff to assemble a team
  19. This is what I am saying. I was not a fan of the pick but I am willing to stick with him through next season to see what the next HC can do. My only point I have ever stated is that Bryce's rookie season should not be an indictment on him being a bust. He needs another season, with a supporting cast around him, to make an actual judgment on him.
  20. And once again, overlook the fact that Young isn't the only contributing factor to us losing... But go on
  21. It's cool... Y'all can continue your bashing and still overlook the fact that today was not all on Young... Blind hate is blind hate, I guess.
  22. Still here... Y'all Bryce haters certainly were quiet last week
