I really thought they were going to tease Punk most of the night and then debut him towards the end of the show but glad they kept it simple and to the point. I think him and Darby Allen will have a good match at All Out but more excited about Punk competing against guys like MJF and Kenny Omega soon. I am still curious as to when Bryan Danielson (formerly Daniel Bryan) will make his anticipated debut and I am curious to see if Windham Rotunda (formerly Bray Wyatt) will join AEW. When I think wrestling has hit a stale point, it is starting to ramp back up again.

The biggest rumor right now is that CM Punk will be returning to wrestling tonight on AEW Rampage... we will see but fans will riot big time in Chicago if it does not happen

Once apon a time on the huddle, we had a thread dedicated to anything and everything about pro wrestling but died. With WWE and the rising AEW (not to mention the partnership with Impact Wrestling), I figured it was time to bring it back. And before I get some negative Nancy's in here: Yes I am aware wrestling is fake, yes I am aware I am a grown man that still watches it, yes I am aware that is mainly a male soap opera, and yes I know it isn't as good of a product as it was in the 80s/90s/early 2000s. I got to admit that when we signed him after coming from the NY Jets, I really did not see him making the roster come opening week but the dude has quietly had a good camp and played well during the Indy game. With the lack of depth at LB, I could easily see him making the final roster. Thoughts?

Before anything is said: It is not uncommon for the backups to get reps with the 1s. Fairly common practice in camp to see what the backups can do with the 1s in the event that Darold goes down, or flat out sucks this season lol. This is no indictment on Darnold by no means and will be the day 1 starter.

I just read that it's not just for throwback jerseys.... It's also for alternate jerseys too. So maybe all black uniform and helmet combo later this year? Or maybe a combo of black helmet with blue uniform and black pants?

I can see ourselves being in the same mold of the Buffalo Bills. It took time for them to build but slowly getting a foundation in place to take over as the top dog in the AFC East.

There is Ian Book from ND but we all know how we feel about ND QBs lol Felipe Franks could be an interesting developmental QB who got beat out by Trask and then transfered KJ Costello might be someone Carolina may look at based off of his connection with CMC and actually pretty decent before transferring

Not to mention that Trey Sermon is still on the board too... I think we need a replacement for Davis
