What your lost I'll start with the comment below. On top of that it's potential for hail it says with drenching rain for next few hours. The real problem is that we don't have an indoor practice facility. Why the f... would we subject ourselves to these conditions when trying to practice, isn't practice for working on technique and specifics the weather makes that almost impossible. If it's a bitch move to protect your own players from injury call us a gang of female dogs. This isn't the let's see how tough you can be show, it's practice on your craft to later be evaluated and critiqued. How much good work did you think we could get in in these circumstances. This is that slip and pull a groin weather glad football servants realized we weren't gaining a thing from trying to practice in a monsoon and cancelled that dumb idea just as dumb as thinking we're bitching out because we know there's no benefit to trying to practice in a severe thunderstorm.

It's Jets joint practice Day 1 (8.9.2023)

Do you or anyone know if Donte actually practiced yesterday in 11 on 11? I haven't heard a thing about him in actual practice just wondering if I missed something or he's not actually going full speed yet -
I have a feeling as to why they're practicing if you watched get up Greeny was basically crying about needing help on the Oline not wanting to get Arod injured. He just had a segment about trading for Bakthari LT from green bay because we destroyed their Oline. They may feel like they need reps based off those reactions.

I caught it as well I laughed myself that comment was so ignorant we can’t let it go.

Chris Fowler's Notes from Panthers Training Camp
trucpfan replied to SaltAndPepper's topic in Carolina Panthers
I thought he was serious until you posted those quotes together let's me know all I need to know. This guy is still talking about keeping Reddick like free agents are owned by teams. It crazy to think that we could easily replicate the production of the 54th ranked player. I'd hate to see what he thinks of players rated 60-70 you'd probably say their straight scrubs huh. -

That trade wouldn't have impacted us the next two years bc they'd be 2024 and 2025 first round picks. I know we could of traded those picks and moved into the first or second this coming draft but my number one question was who do we get to replicate Burns production. Do you feel like we can draft a player in the second round to replicate what Burns does. Or it doesn't matter to you as long as we get first round picks lol. All teams have to pay their stars it's normal why do we cry and whine over paying players who others regard top players at their respective position. There's enough money for everyone and we also need elite players at key positions depending on rookies because you want to save money has never been a winning strategy. Do we want to win a chip in next few years or save money? -

The camaraderie on this team is going crazy it’s giving me that 15-1 vibe we had with Cam. Not saying we’re anything like that team but the togetherness the love being shown between star players and the let’s enjoy our time together is very similar. -

After all these updates I’d say we may see 2 drives out of Bryce and co in the actual game. He has more learning to do as a rookie but he’s very much ahead of the curve as far as rookie QBs are concerned. -

You know what you’re right he washed he had a down year with rookies dropping passes left and right no true WR1. He might want to hang it up because last year he wasn’t destroying the league as he’s done for the last few years. I don’t even know why Vegas has them as one of the favorites to win it all with such a sorry qb playing. -

I need both you guys to say it a little louder for the fans in the back because I almost thought he wasn’t considered the best passing QB in the league. It’s like Zach W just carved us up and not a 3 time MVP. One of the most gifted throwers to ever play the game, did we think he’d regressed to average or something. -

Lolol and this is a rookie QB going against a top 5 defense we are trending in the right direction. As you said earlier if the pick was just a bad throw I still wouldn’t be mad but it wasn’t. -

There's absolutely no way, if we perform how we expect us to it'll get the medias attention. Do you know how many joint practices are going on in the NFL today. We don't need extra coverage we're going to be on hard knocks and we have our own media covering things we're good with coverage. We're getting adequate coverage we don't need the NFL networks spotlight on top of HBO's spotlight for just some joint practices. We need to see our players preform at a high level it's more about what we do on the field then who's watching us practice. Y'all complaining for attention seems so weird. -
Camp Confidential: New-Look Panthers Compete at Training Camp

My favorite coach is easily Duece his energy and sht talking just gets you amped up. The Wr coach is a close second I like that aggressive push the players type of energy. We are definitely building something strong here with the array of different coaches and I can’t wait to see the results this season. -

Who do you replace him with this season? Because I'm pretty sure you don't know Rams didn't have a first round pick this season or next so those first Rd picks start in 2024 leaving us with a huge gap for this season. You know we're trying to win the South this season right. We believe we can make the playoffs this season or do you want to use this season as a redshirt season for the whole team lol I need to understand what you want to do at OLB with those future picks you speak of to get rid of our best pass rusher who hasn't even hit his prime yet. You'd probably would have traded Julius Peppers early in his career if they dangled two first rounds at you like picks mean more then actual players, just lost. -
I just saw that, brought a smile to my face immediately. I hope he signs with Indy their owner loves drama this would add to the soap opera that is Jim Irsay.
-
Lol well we know who isn't following camp updates. This meme is spot on.
-
Kareem will definitely be a handful to deal with combined with Jamal W. First two games will definitely be a test to see if we can we stop the run for our defense to start the season.
-
So who do you replace him with in your opinion since he’ll probably get cut with a injury settlement.
-
Lol this made me laugh a little. I thought there’s no way if you’ve watched game tape last year he could go above Bryce or CJ but but but…we’ve seen stupid decisions before from teams so it’s always a chance. Like watching Lamar vs Deshaun battle it out and then picking Mitch T over both of them hands down idiocy at its best. But with Frank, Jim and especially Josh M actually breaking down film consistently I felt there’s no way we over look all that game tape and take a flyer on a qb with only a strong arm. He played terrible vs good teams last year so I myself hoped and prayed we didn’t made such a goofy decision and now 3 months later we see he can’t beat out a man who played a nfl game passing the ball like one time in a half 10 passes attempted all game.

Naw not even close Bingo this isn’t hype this is reality. This isn’t singing his praises it’s acknowledgment he is what we heard he was. All we’ve been hearing about are things his teammates and coaches are experiencing first hand there’s no extra hype being doled out. Rookies don’t usually ever run protection meetings there first week of training camp, rookies don’t usually take in and understand the playbook over the summer before camp. He’s just different he’s that computer that Steve spoke about after watching his individual workout there’s a reason he had the highest cognitive test score by far he understands football at a higher level then we are use to and his praises are a direct reflection of that knowledge.
-
That was my main thought they could have had this agreement in place for two weeks at 34 he doesn’t need training camp just a couple weeks to ramp up his conditioning. This will give him about 4 weeks of practicing to get ready makes very good sense for both parties involved. He definitely doesn’t need that Spartanburg heat to prepare for the season just a couple weeks with the playbook and he should be good to go.
-
That goes for every athlete in all sports it’s really not even a conversation if Mahomes isn’t healthy he can’t do special Mahomes like things. Give me a little more thought next time my friend lol. It’s not like either of those two Chinn/Luvu are injury prone players so I don’t know why you would say that.
