Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson
trucpfan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Man I meant third my bad but you right nobody’s doing dumb moves like us trading away everything for the midget. -
Naw that’s just stupid it’s more about the need and necessity he’s younger than DA and DHop. He’s 28 just turned it 3 months ago, they’re basically both 32 with lots and lots of miles on both WR. It’s not the same, he actually would produce equivalent to each but I’d say a little more bc of how easily he gets open and his YAC ability and his lack of wear and tear. He's worth a three for Dallas to be competitive in their own division and the NFC. He’s worth a 3 if you’re old and rich and want to see success for your team before you have to leave this earth. He’s worth a three if you’re San Fran a stacked team who’s down a sharp route running WR that could help them get back to the big game. It’s all about necessity who wants to be able to compete with the top teams as of right now you’re going to have to overpay for that final piece, happens all the time.

Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson

Or get nothing what sounds like a better option? Hmmm having two fourth rd picks which we could flip into a second or let him walk for nothing and have only one fourth rd pick it’s just logical towards Proper team building to acquire assets for players who won’t be with us next year Smart they held out DA then traded him can’t ruin the merchandise before we sell it duhhh. -
Sean Payton ‘not a good offense we played..’ s Fowler
trucpfan replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bingo I was thinking last night the exact same thing really I was thinking hes sending a message I just didn't know why he was letting the NFL world know what we all know. But there's usually a reason and this seems to be spot on if not it's something close to your thoughts because he basically laughed at our offense at the podium usually you respect your opponent but not yesterday as we can tell by the late game blatant disrespect. -
Do we attempt to extend Diontae this season?
trucpfan replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
If a team like the Jets or KC traded a 2nd for him typically in these situations they’re about to give him a deal trades like this are done with the agent knowing they have a deal in place once he’s traded. -
BREAKING: Giants looking to trade for Brian Burns
trucpfan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If that's your off-season addition he's underperforming immensely that's a rookie learning his position in the NFL type of numbers definitely not a big money 140 million dollar contract player.- 543 replies

Wonnum is a major addition especially with our defense hungry to show we’re much better than we’ve shown but we’ve been put in ridiculous situations the first two games. But I’m just as excited to see Barno he has a very high potential to be a pass rush specialist. I’m even thinking he could have a Brian Burns type of impact, he’s very fast very bendable around the edge. If he can put it all together like a lot of DEs do in their third year with what’s in front of him two strong by vets he should be able to flourish. We still have impact guys on the shelf we just might have to win and compete this year.

Needs to be?? For whose sake lol he’s going to be doubled I’d think from here on out especially with Thielen out to see if our young core can do anything. We might have to temper our expectations without AT only because we’re now depending on a rookie a second year player and undrafted rookie. Along with two TEs one in his third year one a rookie overall a very small amount of experience so let’s be prepared to see a few struggles offensively based off inexperience.

Ochocinco offers an Apology to the Team and to Panthers Fans
trucpfan replied to Butterflyj30's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was just joking about the logging off but he’s definitely a credible source for football information whether he’s a narcissist or the most emphatic person on the planet. He’s a hall of famer he knows football. He openly admitted the Panthers aren’t this cesspool organization in the NFL, we have dogs all over the field who can’t showcase their personal talents because Bryce isn’t holding his end of the bargain. Yes QBs go through rough patches and learning situations so who knows hat he’ll become but DJ is really a Madden juke specialist with the ball in his hand. Chubba can get it done XL looks strong with the ball in his hands. I said all that to say Chad and Unc have the most popular daily sports show and we deserve our praises for what we did especially to the millions of followers that watch I’m glad they understand we’re closer then most think to being a true competitor. -

Log off my man, we’re trying to enjoy every aspect of that win we that we can. It’s been such a long time since we went out took control and never relinquished it. Panther fans are enjoying satisfaction from all angles log off if you don’t want to hear all this positive Panther talk. -
Huge factor, even Barno who consistently gets pressure those two healthy will really elevate our overall team defense.

I call this Earning every penny of that fat a.. contract

This so dam true

We've missed out on building a solid roster for so many years we're completely lost on what's in our best interest. Keep a very very good WR while we develop Mingo and XL. We need good players to mentor the younger players help them adjust learning and grow with help instead of having to figure it out on their own

Another post-mortem of Bryce in Charlotte
trucpfan replied to BrisbanePanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lolll somebody’s not watching this year, we have the 5th best pass blocking o-line this season. I’m starting to think he’ll have a little resurgence similar to Baker/Geno our coach has shown he can coach up a serviceable QB’s. I think the change is more about seeing if Canales has schemes that actually work, if our offense looks remotely effective with Andy we’ll know DC has something going on let’s keep building and get him more weapons and a above average QB. -
I agree I dam sure hope they do but you have to have the blocking hold up and the QB to quickly read a react do we have the players to mimic what we saw last night?
-
I mean real real nice debut, I’m hoping for half of that production from XL even a little less but definitely something.
-
Man that hit me like a fresh pack of ZA, our one ranked 60th got d…. Yea I’m expecting Bryce to look light years better with the new additions a real number one WR who could potentially get big YAC early and often. Guards who can block and a coach who understands modern NFL philosophy. We’ll know what’s what Sunday around 4.
-
Man you still talking about that two year ago offer. That shits dead my guy let it tf go we didn't take the offer we moved on please do the same how many times are we going to cry about missing out on a good deal.
-
That’s an interesting idea but I don’t think that ever happens. It’s more about giving guys a chance to gain experience at a time when coaching isn’t exactly judged you know what I mean. Sean Mcvay does this and I’ve seen Mike McDaniel do this last preseason during the regular season way too much at stake with only 17 weeks to produce high quality results. Our last coach didn’t even make it 12 games lol he wishes he had a chance to have other people calling plays because what he assembled was pure asinine. But realistically in season, that’s a crazy ass idea to leave your results up to someone who’s just trying to learn the nuances of calling and running a offense or defense seems like a bad idea.
-
I use to think that but the margin for errors being so small the difference even with those things are minute. Special teams, field position and coaching can be the small differences that cause us or any team to lose games. Playing a slightly better QB is also a factor even with good QB play Rodger’s Mahomes Jackson Allen etc they’re just better, special teams missed field goals or weak punts giving the other team better starting field position consistently in the game and lastly a slightly better coach better clock management and in game adjustments are what really lead to winning with most teams being close in talent levels. Being that most games are one score games those things are usually the difference in winning and losing but you’re also right and improvement in all those areas definitely should lead to more wins if the defensive doesn’t fall apart.

Panthers bring Jordan Matthews back to 53-man roster
trucpfan replied to Carolina Panthers's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well deserved active roster spot. -
But when you break it down and analyze it yea the team was miserable last season but there’s different pieces in place. Obviously he’s behind DJ and AT based off football experience IQ etc. Mingo a high second round pick worked his tail off in the offseason, even work with the great Steve Smith to become a better player id expect a player picked 7 picks later in the draft to be comparable to him now he’s got a year experience he’ll easily be a step ahead of XL. So that’d would put him 4th because the other players are simply a little better. Even if we picked AD he’d prob be a 4th option based off our team dynamics to start the season.
