I don’t believe we’re world beaters but we have the talent to win. We basically fall in line with the Jets/Giants IMO with Wilks coaching a serviceable qb (based off yesterday) and a strong defense which gives a chance to win every game. Being that we weren’t playing some of our talented players which should help us win let’s say half the games left and winning the South lol crazy at seems. If we win this week get you playoff tickets money ready. This comment sums up the difference in our season we aren’t a great team but if you really watch you know there’s so much parody in the league most games come down to a few good decisions by a coach. We’ve simply lacked that for 2 1/2 years and we all know his personnel decisions were horrendous. IE BC’s arms are a little short for LT the next year he could be our starting LT let him battle it out with a pure stud top LT taken. That kind of decision making was just out right comical and slowed down development for all players.

Pretty understandable reasoning lol.

What I’ve always thought that once I saw Matt didn’t even make his upgrade at center a clear starter I figured all positions suffer from that same ignorance.
-
That’s hilarious to think if we get a first round pick we’ve finessed a team. I can see that that’s a way more pressing need a Von Miller type of closer someone who can really put pressure on the QB at crucial moments not Burns strength but they don’t know that lol.

So who is better, Stroud or Young?

It’s definitely gettin interesting over there he’s not been good late in games this season and wants to get paid paid. -
Predict when Robbie Anderson is Traded or Released.
trucpfan replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
He’s nowhere as bad as this boards claims…..it’s the lack of QB play the last two years with Teddys average arm he and DJ had 1k we forget because Thile drug us thru weak azz QB play for two years by choice. -

Hopefully at least a third or fourth (more likely a 4/5) he’s going to produce somewhere else with an above average qb he still has a little value for a Green Bay or Dallas who need a little more offense. One situation shouldn’t make us sell dirt cheap play to win in all aspects. -
I’d think so I’ve heard from that he has an large okay sheet so if he has 15 preferred playes out of 200 I’d expect him to call his maybe after a big play (20 yards) to keep the qb in a good rhythm maybe?
-
One thing about Baker is that he’s tough as a muthaa, he can okay through some serious pain but I don’t expect him to play yet. He probably wants a week off to see things from a different perspective

It seems like a big deal he’s present the very first practice Wilks is having. If that support comes with a input it’s worth it. It amazes me one of the all time best linebackers and easily one of the most knowledgeable defensive players the bff had seen wasn’t able to do his thing in some capacity (from lb input to scouting help) with Rhule and Snow.

That’s what I’m saying you can draft one and win, no one knows if he’ll be good or not I believe CJ or Bryce in the right situation can win. But I definitely agree we have to find our answer through the draft we need our new franchise qb in a bad way.
-
Lolol that’s not how this works my friend, it takes a good coach, strong system, and good talent at different positions. We’re going to need a couple more playmakers stronger DE play a better CB then Henderson aka panic man. Let’s not ever put this on a qb we’d be better off running our power rb on 3 and 1 or 4-1 over cmc to keep drives alive it’s about coaching and strategies. See NY Giants if you need more evidence. He has no clue we could draft a stud qb who can preform like Trevor L but if you have a Urban Meyer running the show he’ll never ascend. Now with a solid coach and system he’s look like his former hiesman, winning, and accurate self. And he himself can’t take his team out of purgatory because that’s not how it works lol.

That’s a very good perspective 3 players in the top 33 ish should be 3 foundational players. That’s basically 3 first rounders because talents slips through not a bad way to start a rebuild.

Sean Payton Says Carolina job is Attractive
trucpfan replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
In Sean Payton’s system it worked, when you sign players that fit your system and coach them up you get good results. I’ve always heard a good coach gets the most out of his players so I understand why he said Teddy as well. Teddy could have won more if he was better prepared. He tried saying that and got traded for stating our practices weren’t thorough enough. -
It was Matt’s college approach to getting him starers reps from day one. He just thought college style would work in all aspects of the job. Dam to think he’d woulda been more seasoned then his now so glad we’ve ended Matt’s foolishness
-
Yea we need to do something bc if pj has a stinger with the new protocol he could easily be ruled out for the game and who do we turn to then.
-
Value takes into account the contract it’s impact on the cap production lately and performance. He’s clearly the best player, but our most valuable player this season would be Luvu easily. An insane amount of production for pennies on the dollar.
-
Oh yeah with the fan base behind you and deep playoffs runs yearly I’m sure he’ll be just fine playing football there half the year. Players want to make leave a legacy have impactful moments not mess around with an organization that’s still finding its way.
-
Me too it’s looking like he’s about to coach his tail off. I bet the defense wins a game or two even with this porous offense.
-
Most interesting part about his performance is we all knew he was a better option then Chubba in all aspects and still got cut. Matt didn’t see things clearly at all he looked ready to get busy since preseason only to get cut for Chubba who looked below average in the same time frame.
-
If he worked his way up the through ranks I’d believe that as well. He needs a ounce of experience like Demecco R is getting now.
