There’s a couple good really good options left on the market. I don’t think it’s financially feasible but Asante Samuel or Justin Simmons would add to the DB room and really strengthen that group immensely. Any chance we’re still cooking up something with the free agents available?

Panthers sign Jaycee Horn to $100 million dollar deal
trucpfan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Another reason to congratulate Morgan and the cap guy we’re doing amazing cap work overall with all these deals so far this offseason -
Lol it doesn't work like that, you don't go from special tea s gunner to respectable deep threat with a whooping 3 catches in college. Let's draft a speedy vertical threat that is a yac guy.

Panthers agree to 1-year deal with RB Rico Dowdle

This is hugeee he’s a real speed back perfect compliment to Chubbas bruising tough style I love it -
I can feel you on most of that but pussy lol this a far stretch the nfl is for the elite athletes a combination of strength, speed, with size so a rookie get handled off the line isn’t a major red flag. Steve got handled early in his career his skills improved that’s what’s expected from X and that’s not a far stretch year two stronger more ready to handle press or jams more comfortable with the offense bigger impact. And he can still do those things you recommend going across the middle or quick screens especially with a field stretcher on the field. You have to respect Goldens speed he could easily stack DB for a bomb any play and if you know Canales he wants deep throws to be a staple we need a speedster who can really play WR not just a fast guy.
-
Seriously rather get Burden or Golden we need speed and playmakers we have big body WRs they just need to be coached up. Jalen’s on a path to high production already we really need to focus on Big Country and it’s not like he wasn’t a catch away or a concentration moment away from multiple big moments as a rookie. If he progresses as many players do this season we should see him making those plays and in turn being our big body high point catching WR along with TE Sanders.

Simmons was a dam ball hawk last season perfect addition to our run stopping safety.

Tershawn Wharton to sign with Panthers
trucpfan replied to PantherChris's topic in Carolina Panthers
Seems to be worth it played well last year from what I’ve seen need some pff numbers so I can like him more or claim pff is trash based of what they say about him. -
Thanks for the insight into those numbers it makes a difference we might have to dive deeper into these to see if we're getting a impact player or a guy who best one or two vad players then did nothing else all season

Panthers sign Rams NT Bobby Brown III
trucpfan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This signing is focused on improving our weakest area from last season I really like it. -
That’s a quality upgrade focused signing I like it a lot.

They’re seeking a late 2nd or early 3rd. So I’d say our early 4th round pick would do it. It’d be a great addition and it changes our draft strategy just a little we’d prob go DE in the second to groom behind Hendricks for 1/2 years. Him with DT Milton would be the free agents to change our D like the two guards changed our O line completely last offseason.

She look good as shtttt

How did they mess up so bad with Mayfield and Darnold,
trucpfan replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
A stout offensive line, much better coaching and each has an All Pro Wr as their number one guy. We had none of those 3 during each QBs tenure. Those 3 things are the difference in achieving success vs looking like Bryce on the regular. Each guy has a franchise WR as their go to option big difference in comparison to what we've trotted out this year a rookie as the go-to guy or a 35 yr old WR and in football age that's old!!!! Huge difference in weapons but while they were here we were run by Rhule who is the best snake oil salesman I've ever witnessed. -
Not sure about Abdul Carter just yet...

I was coming in to say the same thing we seem to get way more with Mason. He pass rushes well and stuff the sht out the run. Next to Brown would go a long way with controlling the line of scrimmage all game I’d say. I hope we also take into account his big game play in big games. He shows up when needed most, all rookies need development but he seems way more pro ready than any other options. His DB teammate seems just as ready as well Harbaugh ran a excellent program I’d lean towards one of his blue chip players over anyone else. It’s like drafting Georgia players a couple years ago they had a pipeline of extra talented kids who’ve been drafted high and produced well. -
I don’t know if you’ve been told this is a week to week league. Only a real deal hater doesn’t take new information given to them and include into the equation. Over the last three weeks we’ve been first (1st) in Sack rate at 12.4% and an alarming 4.3 sacks a game. That’s vs 3 division leaders who are fighting for their playoff spot and two out of three have elite offenses. Ranking them around 3 and 6 offensively we’ve been doing this vs really really good teams but I won’t mention it when But maybe we should ignore as well because it would start to swing the pendulum and we don’t want to speak positives about this team they’re the exact same team from week one and two. lol yall kill me with ignorance when sht changes we change our view points it’s not biophysics it’s NFL football. Naw it’s normal in the NFL to judge your team on where they are currently. You struggle for three weeks then win 4 in a row are you a hot team or you still judge as the team who lost 3 in a row? Are they considered a team who now on the right path or should your opinion stay the same just trying to understand you guys logic?
-
Naw we can’t do that it nobody can make up for those critic drops third down drops coupled with TD drops he just has to learn from it. But Thielen is doing his job that’s it he’s a clutch catcher who makes big ting plays knows how to get open and catches everything that comes his way but to be elite we need more Theilen type of players.

I know most of y'all want defense but currently at pick 4...
trucpfan replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
That trade down nets us at minimum and extra round 2 pick 4 spots in the first round hold a lot of value but yea I def like the thought of a trade down two 2nd round picks with Graham. -
Man you’re funny but in all seriousness one thing we’re not taking into consideration is he seems to have hit his rookie wall. Because he’s definitely decreasing in production. We’re at week 15 that’s a lot of football for rookies some handle it better then others XL right now might need to regroup it appears he mentally fatigued hopefully he can get it together

Facts I believe he will knowing how he’s always been a man of such good character his I believe he’ll be in his ear encouraging him to stay the course. It’s a brutal situation it takes real determination to recover from but it can be done.
