This kick was that glimmer of hope that keeps us Panthers fans thinking it's not over yet.

Cam has stated that he's doing just fine chilling until the right situation for him comes up, that's probably all that it is. I'm sure teams want him but he might not wanting to go to a team just to play for a regular season, I'm sure he'd want to play for a team that's playoff bound and how many of those are even looking for a backup. He doesn't want to go out on a field to get beat up either I'm sure he's wanting to go somewhere with a decent line and if that situation doesn't develop he's like fug it. And as far as we go ...why would we need Cam back? We're not a strong playoff contender yet, we still have a soft OLine no matter who's back there. Cam will probably be able to do enough to get some wins and push us back in the draft but wouldn't mean poo if we lose our wildcard game. All that would happen by adding Cam would be a later draft pack and Cam getting beat up some more. Not worth it.

I agree to some extent however I don't think asking for more than 1 TD from our qb in over 5 games is having expectations that are too high.

Although it a diehard Panthers fan and rarely miss a game I'm not a "football" guy. I know there's alot of you on here who's football knowledge and vision for what you see on the field surpasses my availabilities. My question is was there any warning signs of how bad Sam would play this year during training camp or the preseason? Lol yes I know there's plenty of evidence of him being bad wearing a jets uniform but I'm speaking about this year. I would keep up with the posting from huddlers who went to Spartanburg but sometimes it's hard to tell if it's the offense that's struggling or if it's our defense that's really good.

We'll do Panther poo and probably can vp of media relations or something like that.

Shhhh...Lol .. Brevard is awesome, however everytime I see someone asking for advice on where to move in NC somebody always mentions Brevard. If everyone keeps talking up Brevard it's just going to turn into another Ashville.

As far as the transplant theory goes..yea I'll say that might play a small role but their are larger transplant cities that seem to have a stronger home team vibe .. LA ,NY and hell even Denver rank higher on the transplant cities list than Charlotte and they all seem to be doing a better job than we are I Charlotte.

Maybe when the Falcons or Saints are in town.. otherwise I'll be happy with being a redskins ..sorry wft level of hostile.

Is absurd....other teams always walk around like it's their house and I'm sick of seeing a conservative 20% of opposing fans in our stadium , cheering and chanting or whatever. I wish we we were like other stadiums where opposing team fans were sketched out to even wear a shirt of the visiting team. Do you ever think we get to that point or are we always gonna have a welcome mat for other teams?

Yea Montanna led the team to their pinnacle of success, as did Cam. Although Montana's/ 49ers success was greater than what Cam/ Panthers achieved fact remains he was the QB of our team during the most successful season we've ever had. Thanks for proving my point.

As long as Cam isn't with the Panthers theres going to be a pretty decent percentage of fans who are going to keep up with him. He was our 1st #1 pick, he led us to a 15-1 season that had him as an MVP and got us to a Super Bowl. He was the face of the franchise and has had a major impact on our organization so it's weird that people get so butthurt when he's brought up. I mean if football forums were around in Montana's era I'm sure San Fran Fans wouldn't stop talking about him once he went to KC. I'm pretty sure that Pats fans still bring up Brady more than we do Cam. When you have a player like that who is no longer playing for their original team these conversations will continue to happen until they retire.
