I know , I know he's not from Alabama or Ohio, schools people want their qbs to come from( not too sure why, most have sucked in the NFL).. But after Saturday yall will realize what us UT fans have known since last year, Hooker is the real deal. I see a lot of people here gushing over Young and Stroud and they look good, not gonna lie but they are both playing behind the top 2 lines in college football. Hooker is leading the Vols behind the 32nd best O-line. So he's doing a lot more with alot less. Bring this dude home and let's go get him in 2023.

Yea well that just adds to the fact that out of alot this the owners have been accused of JR is at the lower end of the spectrum. I mean somehow Dan Snyder is still going about business as usual after multiple allegations from alot of different people.

I'll take the controversial side and say yes. For most of his ownership he stayed out of the headlines, although we had some horrible teams under his time but we also had some great teams. I don't think we've ever felt this distant to the team while he was an owner . All the owners in the NFL are old horny perverts, JR was just the one who got exposed . The worst part of it is I shouldn't feel this way, I should he happy that's he is gone and not look back, but due to how underwhelming our current owner is it's hard to feel that way.

Another thing that pisses me off is how confused Matt looks in the games when the camera cuts to him. He always walking around with this surprised and shocked look on his face. Dude has 0 confidence or killer instinct.

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned yet but 2008 Monday Night Football vs the Bucs. Double trouble did their damn thing and ran all over the Bucs. Both Williams and Stewart had over 100 yards and two TD's. The stadium was electric and it was sooo damn loud. Thank God for engineers because we definitely put a heavy stress on the stadium,the concrete was bouncing .

I say we go for best OLine available with our 1st 5th and DL or LB with the 2nd. Then anything on 6th or 7th, maybe one of the wr Corral played with at ole miss or double dip with LB and DL.

Dude they played that dumb ass clip and tried to get the fans to all join in by getting hype man to do it and panning shots of the crowd doing it but nobody in the crowd was doing it so they had to keep going back to the movie clip and hypeman... The poo was so dumb. They did it multiple times in multiple games. I enjoyed having the Keep Pounding chant and I think the only game it was on the screen to get the crowd to do it was the 1st game, I could be wrong but I think it was on maybe once towards the end... Keep Pounding was a good simple crowd chant that actually had real meaning and heart to it , it was awesome ,the best of both worlds. I was proud that we actually had a chant and that it was our own chant and not the genresic dumbass "Let's go Panthers." clap,clap.....clap,clap,clap. Even though Tepper might be trying to drown it out it's nice seeing us Panthers fans continue to chant it up the concourse before games (and after only once this year..lol) and around the stadium before games.

I think he was more interested in fishing and being outdoors and wasn't into the grind of the office poo.. maybe the itch to be back in football is getting to hard to resist.
