  1. Budget is 260. The league starts 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, 3 Flex, + K and D/ST
  2. Bumping this. I know there’s more of y’all on this message board that are hardcore fantasy players. This is my first off-season in a keeper league so need all the advice I can get!
  3. Debated the cheap route with Waddle, Williams, and Fournette for just $23 total. That would leave me over 91% of the rest of my total budget to acquire a stud QB, TE, and WR.
  4. Appreciate your insight. Not high on Fournette for just $11? Fantasy media seems to love him this season and he would probably cost quite a bit over $11 in the auction.
  5. I can keep three players on this last at the price points they were purchased for ahead of last season. The rest will be up for grabs again via auction come draft day. Technically I can keep the same players year over year at the price points here - but I’m assuming keepers turn over quite a bit year over year assuming you’re finding cheap studs whether it be rookies or breakout stars etc. My only lock to keep right now is Javonte Williams for just $6. Fournette isn’t a young buck anymore but for the price and being the lead back in TB this season with probably a lot of volume in a high scoring offense, $11 feels like a steal and that I need to lock them both down for just $17 total. Gets harder for my third and final keeper. Lamb is due to break out as he’s a legit stud and the only big time threat in that Dallas passing game at $30. If I didn’t keep him he would probably cost $50-$60 to try and buy him again. Waddle at $6 is an absolute steal but I’m less of a believer in him due to Tua and with Hill being in town. Pitts at $30 is intriguing as a top fantasy TE but if I had to choose him vs. Lamb at the same cost to keep I’m going Lamb. I think DJ is poised for a big year but can probably be had for around the same cost amongst the crowd I am drafting with. Thought about keeping a QB but getting two starting RBs for $17 will leave me with a large budget to acquire my QB1 and TE1. Thoughts from the Huddle fantasy gurus?
  6. Per Panthers.com/Twitter. Article said he was sore after conditioning tests and the move was precautionary.
  7. Myles Garrett and co. week 1. We are going to see what Ickey is about early!
  8. Lots of Bayou boys going home to Louisiana… Honey Badger and Jarvis.
  9. Tend to agree. I’d rather we get a potential All-Pro at a premium position like OT or DE than draft at 13 and throw darts at the dartboard with the additional picks we accumulate. Crapshoot if we go down that road.
  10. I bet I could guess who it is… was with the Dolphins myself in 2016 and it was still a problem for him then. Gase would break the team in the huddle after practices and in front of everyone tell said player to “take it easy this weekend” or “take a break from South Beach” etc. I kinda respected Gase’s approach… air the player out a bit in front of his whole team in hopes that would get him to get his act together.
  11. Walking into a situation with a couple top 10 picks as well, not bad.
  12. Joe Schoen… another former Panthers employee that came up through the ranks with Beane. Can’t help but think how much different this franchise may be today had we hired Beane to be Hurney’s replacement initially. Smh.
  13. Most folks assumed Joe Brady was a rockstar hire… he was the biggest name out there after his National Championship run and rightfully so. We saw how that worked out. Quite frankly I have 0 faith we get this hire right. Why would any coach worth a damn risk his name on the sinking ship captained by Matt Rhule?
  14. I doubt Miami fires Flores without a plan in place. Their owner Stephen Ross is a Michigan guy - I could see them hiring Harbaugh.
  15. Staley just went full Matt Rhule. Never go full Matt Rhule.
  16. That’s a fireable offense at this point. Greatest short yardage weapon in league history on the bench and you elect to run Sam Darnold hahaha.
  17. Was on staff at UCLA when he was there as a Bruin. Great dude. Hope he can succeed here! Happy for him.
  18. Headed to Charlotte Thursday afternoon and leaving Monday evening. Haven’t been down in a few years and looking for some things to do aside from just the game on Sunday. Wouldn’t mind checking out some local breweries, distilleries/whiskey bars, and some great restaurants with a view (if possible). Visiting an old high school buddy of mine who has been in the Charlotte area a while now. I believe he has work all day on Friday so I’ll be exploring the city with another friend. If anyone wants to link up potentially for tailgating or grab a beer, let me know! Thanks all.
  19. I know I’ll be at BOA Stadium for the first time in a long time. Flying into Charlotte Thursday afternoon! Looking forward to it!
