Like Ryans as a candidate though would prefer an offensive mind like the majority of others. Additionally, the personnel on the defensive side of the ball in San Francisco is quite superior to that side of the ball in Carolina though we do have some pieces. He probably has the best DE and LB in all of football playing together in SF.

Well then he was certainly chipped for the majority of the game. -
Big time players show up in big time games

Was I the only one noticing him being chipped and doubled on damn near every obvious passing down? Tampa game planned him out of the game - to their credit. -
Horn pretty clearly our most valuable defensive player. We may have taken him for granted all year long. With his history of injuries - is corner now the second biggest need on this roster? Absolutely pathetic showing from Henderson and Keith Taylor today. Makes me sick to my stomach but if QB is off the board when we are drafting and we do not move up - does corner become our primary need? We have invested so much in the secondary in recent years and have nothing to show for it outside of Jaycee Horn.

Push To The Superbowl Panthers Lions GameDay Thread
OnlyPantherFaninMaine replied to Catsfan69's topic in Carolina Panthers
A true coverage safety has to be high on our list of draft needs. Outside of Horn there isn’t anyone in the secondary I am confident can cover. -

Things I’ve seen enough of: Jeremy Chinn in coverage. -
Just reminded me - I have a full-sized helmet signed by the following and it must be cursed as a result: Frank Alexander, Joe Adams, Amini, Greg Hardy, Byron Bell, Robert Lester, Swole Bones. Only bright spot is Ryan Kalil.

Official Steelers at Panthers GameDay Thread

Came here just to say that Keith Taylor is absolute rubbish. Beat like a drum all day long. -
Through 7 of 8 episodes currently and still feel quite confused. It’s definitely out there. My fiancé gave up on it and but I’m committed at this point.

Recently started this on Netflix. Anyone else? Currently through 3 episodes and am terribly confused but entertained thus far.

Any update on Burns’ knee?
OnlyPantherFaninMaine replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just realized we are now on our bye week. Rest up Brian, come back and get 15 sacks this season. -
Saw him go out and smash his helmet in frustration after that low cut block directly to his braced knee. Has anyone seen an update on that? If so, I apologize as I could not find any updates on Twitter or elsewhere. Pay the man!

Bump. grown ass man tonight and almost all season long. Find an end opposite Burns and this defensive line is in great shape for the foreseeable future. He and Burns are both just 24. Most improved and most dominant Panther defender thus far this season.

Is Burns really worth backing up a Brinks truck?
OnlyPantherFaninMaine replied to mc52beast's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hardest pill for me to swallow regarding Burns and our draft history: Love Horn and was very much needed at the time. Hindsight sure, but imagine we had taken Micah Parsons to pair opposite Burns? Would have given us the ability to trade Burns for all of those picks and still have an elite pass rusher on a cheap deal. Yeesh. Always stuck asking “what could have been?” With this team. -
By declining this trade it indicates Fitterer, Morgan, and Co. feel this team doesn’t need a full rebuild. This division will be up for grabs starting this year and well beyond because nobody has their QB of the future. I don’t want to waste years attempting a rebuild when we could be competing in the NFC with a great young QB and the right coaching hire. If you trade Burns now you may as well trade Moore, Chinn, Brown as well. What message does that send the rest of the guys in that locker room? No star player here is going to willingly suffer through years of rebuilding. The much quicker, sustainable, and likely path to success of this team is nailing the QB selection and hiring the right coach.
