Why would any high level coaching and front office candidate want to get anywhere near this franchise? Roster is poor with no depth and minimal draft capital with meddling owner that cannot seem to get out of his own way. This is easily one of the least attractive jobs league wide. Dark dark times ahead in Charlotte - I don’t think we’ve seen rock bottom yet and Tepper is the common denominator.

The problem is that this front office hasn’t shown it can draft successfully just as it hasn’t shown it cannot make impact signings in free agency on a consistent basis. Granted, we haven’t made or attempted many “big splashes”. Unfortunately I do not have the faith that this ownership and front office can get anything right. Cap space is great - maybe it can help to right the ship but I am going to say “prove it”.

Sanders’ deal was yet another contractual blunder from Fitt and co. to go along with Ian Thomas, Donte Jackson, etc.

Biggest gripe I have is the complete lack of foresight and the lack of patience that has us in the position. The upcoming draft is already being touted as one of the best QB classes, ever. We’d have a legit shot at the guy they are calling the next Patrick Mahomes and now he is likely to end up in Chicago with maybe the best WR prospect ever in Marvin Harrison Jr. Pair those two with someone like Ben Johnson at Head Coach, and Chicago instantly becomes a threat to win that division for years moving forward. Just a complete failure from the top down.

DB is absolutely the least of this team’s worries. I see him making tackles all over the field and he’s one of the only guys out there playing all out every snap.

It really is horrendous. Reich needs to man up and surrender the play calling duties asap. It is so stale. The league has passed him by.

The criticism and lack of faith is fair at this point. Doing things incrementally as I do not have the liquid cash to drop $50K on the basement at once. Currently struggling to find an electrician that can get things roughed in and wired (recessed lighting + outlets).

So when this whole framing process began, my builder told me his labor costs were directly tied to the cost of the lumber. He quoted me and charged me at 2X the lumber cost. Today I was reimbursed just under $500 by the lumber company for the lumber that was not used and returned. Am I in my right to follow back up with the builder and ask if I am now owed back close to $1000? If his labor costs are truly tied to the lumber at 2X, this seems to make perfect sense to me and is what agreed upon. Yay or nay? @LinvilleGorge @thefuzz @Floppin I don’t want to fracture our relationship but it was his words mine about labor costs being determined by the lumber cost.

Got quoted today for insulation, drywall, taping, labor and materials down there. Was quoted at $8,800 by my neighbor’s son in law who owns and operates a drywall company with his father. Trust them both and is honestly about what I expected. He came down and measured just about every wall and ceiling down there. Does that sound reasonable or on the high end again? Includes ceiling all all of the soffits.

Basement framing is now done. Lots of soffits built and a bench for additional seating + storage. Took him about 2.5 days in total and I am very happy with the results. Onto the electric work and had another guy out today to measure and provide a quote for the insulation and dry wall.

Also, can anyone tell me the name/style of this type of ceiling lighting? I think LED ceiling lights in the basement like this would be unique and help capture the style I am going for down there. Would try to find some with a warm color and preferable some that are dimmable. I don’t want the standard, circular recessed lights you see everywhere.
