  1. Like who? The only one I think that has a chance to be in the third is the Duke guard.
  2. Are the jerseys black and blue or white and gold?
  3. So you're willingly making a bet with WOW that Agholor will go after 57th overall? Am I understanding that correctly? Going from a second round guy to late first is hardly "skyrocketing."
  4. Usually when players ascend on draft boards and mock drafts closer to draft night it is because draftniks are finally coming around to looking at players further in depth. They usually move guys up and place them closer to where teams already have them ranked. Agholor was never a day three prospect. There is a reason virtually every credible draft writer with ears on team personnel departments are steadily moving up Nelson on their boards and rankings. There is a reason he is meeting with WR needy teams from the mid to late first round. At this point it is fairly likely Agholor jumps Strong. Don't make that bet. You will lose.
  5. Only worry is injury? Really? How about lack of any real pass-rushing skills and lack of production for the most-part at the college level. Guy will be drafted on potential and has a lot more questions about his game outside of hip surgeries (plural). Big body in a violent game playing on surgically repaired hips? No thanks.
  6. How is it that you would consider Odighizuwa, who has a history of significant injuries, in the first round based on 'scary potential' yet you knock Perriman who will be a first rounder on potential and athleticism just like him?
  7. Love that the Jags are building around Bortles. Giving him all the weapons he needs to succeed. I think he will have a good career there.
  8. Legend. Guy was incredible in his prime. Will be missed.
  9. doubtful we shelled out $3+ million on a camp body. I suppose the contract could be heavily incentive-based but I think he makes the 53. Doubt he even practices much in training camp and throughout pre-season.
  10. Throw in Kalil, Olsen, CJ, Luke, and Cam and that is a very strong group of leaders both young and old.
  11. For what it's worth last off-season Coach Proehl traveled the country and worked out the best receivers while documenting the entire thing on Twitter as to where he was. He started doing the same thing this year but abruptly stopped after a week or two. I am wondering if the Panthers requested he stop.
  12. Yup been saying similar things about Strong since watching as many full game cut ups on him as possible. He isn't a fluid athlete. He runs poor routes. He is constantly failing to get separation and he always seems to have a corner draped all over him. I expect those things to continue at the next level. His athleticism pops when you look at his combine numbers, but it ends there for me. I was a huge fan of his early in the process but the more I watched the more I really wouldn't love the pick in the first round. He'll be an average #2 possession receiver and a decent red zone threat in the NFL and will likely always struggle to win vertically and will need to be more aggressive to win with corners draped all over him.
  13. Hoping I wake up to news that he was signed with us tomorrow morning. I think he could play safety and corner depending on personnel packages. Invaluable in the locker room and I'd wager he is still a ball hawk and can make plays behind our front seven. After two years of injuries he's likely hungry and wants to prove he can still produce. What better place to do it than under his former coordinator Rivera?
  14. @RapSheet: Former #Bears CB Charles “Peanut” Tillman is visiting the #Panthers tomorrow, source says. Ron Rivera’s guy from years back.
  15. @ESPNChiBears: #Bears free agent CB Charles Tillman visited the #Panthers on Wednesday, sources tell me, @caplannfl & @DNewtonespn.
  16. @DNewtonespn: Bears free agent cornerback Charles Tillman is in town making an official visit with the #Panthers, league sources told me. @ESPNChiBears: Should add that Tillman and #Panthers have not discussed a contract yet. Still in early stages. Useful veteran. Maybe could play some safety in some packages. Provides more veteran leadership for an otherwise young secondary. Ball-hawk that would excel behind our front seven. UPDATE: Black & Blue Review ‏@BlackBlueReview 7m 7 minutes ago And it’s official: #Panthers sign Charles Tillman to a one-year deal.
  17. The Browns are desperate at WR. I doubt they even take phone calls and they run to the podium to get the selection in.
