Who do you want as the next head coach?
Panther'sBigD replied to Squid Game's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why not throw your hat into the ring, Chuck? After all, you’ve got things all figured out. Lmao -
No, but I did see on twitter yesterday, that Daniel Snyder had high level executives posting talking points on fan message boards, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that he's got people on here.

If you've ever watched a talented painter start an oil painting, it starts out looking a bit like finger painting. It takes time for everything to come together and make sense. But if you've got to leave now, go for it.

I get why some didn't want Watson, but it's not a happy time.

Look at it this way: Now we can spend multiple first, second and third round picks on four new offensive linemen and a couple of linebackers this offseason. -

Jesus dude, not you too. -
I'm not sure you even understand my views on this fanbase, based on your response to my post. This place is an echo chamber of bitchy, overly opinionated fans, as you'll find pretty much anywhere on the internet. I think the majority of Panther fans still support the team and aren't nearly as invested and angry as the small number of people who post daily on this board. Building things takes time. It's always great when success comes earlier than expected, but it's not the norm. Adding stadium concerts to Charlotte is a good thing. Adding a professional soccer team is a good thing. I remember how many people didn't want the uptown arena and think about how many great concerts I've been to there, and now it seems like we've finally got a young team to root for. Things take time. More than 1.5 years. If you've got to go, then go.

I like how you said he's not wrong, and then talked yourself into why he's wrong. 10/10. -

This is the dumbest thing you've posted today. And that's saying something. -

Dude, we've had enough. You have lost it. 0 more posts from you for the rest of the day please and thank you. -

OP, this you? -
For all of you yammering on about how you're going to skip watching games from now on, and invest your time in other things, we all know that's horseshit. You're going to be in here rage posting and acting like your manhood's been taken from you if the team you like is losing. Get ready for this team to suck until they get some line help, and the rookies get more experience. I haven't seen less realistic expectations for a coaching staff and rookie class on this board in a looooong time. It's going to get worse before it gets better. Maybe buy a smoker or build yourself a nice firepit or something, so you'll have it for next year...

Rapaport: Panthers/ Tepper out of Watson deal
Panther'sBigD replied to FugginPoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why would Matthew Stafford OR Deshaun Watson want to come to Charlotte to lead a team at the beginning of a rebuild? We're less than two years into our rebuild. Both were stuck with losing teams basically their entire careers. Stafford was the missing piece in LA and Watson is most likely a huge sex pest who will buy his way out of jail. We can't compete with LA or Miami as far as destination choices for different reasons for both players. -

It's easier to be a sex pest in Miami. -
In your bad metaphor, you've started complaining about the carpentry while they're still pouring the footings. We're 1.5 years into a complete rebuild. Some of the things they're trying/going to try aren't going to work. You've got to fail some in order to improve and you have to give people time to grow into their jobs, especially when you try to get in on the ground floor as they did with Joe Brady.

There are numerous position groups and it is evident that Rhule and Co. went with the philosophy that it is better to build up one side of the ball rather than both at the same time. Our defense is really good, and would be even better without key injuries. They’re good enough to keep us in games if the offense plays even remotely competently. We don’t have a decent line yet. If we avoid going all in on Watson, we can use the same type of strategy to build a great o line this offseason, and then we’re back on an upward trajectory. It’s a message board snd I get that people are mad and just want to bitch, but it’s getting hysterical in here.

Tom Brady has more passing TDs than our franchise.
Panther'sBigD replied to Tbe's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think you and @TheBigKat should go buy matching Brady jerseys, repaint the RV garnet and gold and head down to Tampa. -
LMAO. You guys are ridiculous! We’re 1.5 years into a rebuild and you’re BIG MAD over the fact that we’re not already a contender. We don’t have an offensive line yet. This is the part of the story where we suck. I get that fans want the team to win, but this angry, uninformed fan fiction you guys are writing is seriously pitiful. Come on, man!

When did you give up on Matt Rhule?
Panther'sBigD replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
An unfortunate reality of learning how to do something properly is trying and failing as you learn until you ultimately master whatever skill you're learning. Rhule is a successful college coach, LEARNING how to be an NFL coach. He's shown a lot more good than bad, and it'd be silly to give up on him at this point given what's happened with injuries, etc.. I hope against hope that David Tepper is not as much of a reactionary baby as many of the posters on this board. We suck right now, and it's fine to be mad about it, but the steaming, hot, shitty takes about giving up on a new coach 1.5 seasons in are ridiculous. -
I remember when the Eagles thought '4th and 26' was going to make Donovan McNabb a legend...LOL.

It's telling how many of you tie the Panthers winning to your own self worth. The anger and bitterness after a loss is on another level around here. Are some of you not able to get an erection or take a decent bowel movement if the Panthers don't win on Sundays?! Because that's the way a lot of you are acting. Rhule entered the league during the pandemic, and has had less than two seasons to rebuild a totally blown up team. He has not looked great these last few games, but he's learning right now too. It's going to take at least three years, but probably closer to five years to turn the Panthers into a perennial competitor. Some of you better go ahead and get a scrip for Sildenafil and some Ex-Lax in the meantime.
