  1. It is hard for any team to win when the offensive line is called by the officials for holding on good blocks every momentum play The Panthers were not just playing the Dolphin defense and offense today.
  2. Cam finished completing 5 of 21 passes for 92 yards with two interceptions and no touchdowns through the air. His second pick set the Dolphins up with a nine-yard field that they converted into a 14-7 lead with a Tagovailoa touchdown pass to Jaylen Waddle. Per the NFL, Newton's 23.8% completion rate was the worst for a quarterback with at least 20 attempts since Joey Harrington's 5-for-22 effort for the Detroit Lions in 2004.
  3. Rhule made clear after the game that Cam Newton remains Carolina's starting quarterback despite being pulled in the fourth quarter. He told reporters that he made the switch late because Newton's protection wasn't holding up and that he believed Walker stood a better chance in a hurry-up offense because he knows the 2-minute playbook.
  4. Bingo!!! You are 100% correct!! When the Dolphins were shown holding or blocking in the back and nothing called the cameras quickly turned the other way. The announcers commented on the bad calls but they are limited on the amount they can be critical toward officials.
  5. One of the main reasons New England stays on top regardless of who they have at QB is good coaches to develop the team each year and the ability to keep the players focused to play at a high level each week.
  6. I am not saying it cost us the game because there is lots of blame to go around but the whole game was called poorly and one sided. The bad calls were slanted toward the Panthers and hurt them when it mattered most. I would like to think NFL games are called fairly but games called like this make me have doubts.
  7. The officials seemed to be calling suspect possible game changing fouls on the Panthers all day, especially at the beginning of the game when the Panthers had drives going.
  8. I am wondering if the Panthers inability to stop the Washington running attack was due to poor gap control or the fact that the team is lacking in talent when they face teams that play a smash mouth running game? I hope the answer is the first, not the latter, or else we are in trouble..
  9. I am just thankful that the Panthers is the team in my region and not the Lions who are pitiful.
  10. I am thankful that we have an NFL team in our region we can support, enjoy and call our own.
  11. If Ron loses a couple more games this year he may be headed to the NFL Hall Of Fame but only as an observer.
  12. I am wondering if the Panthers will even sign Donte Jackson next year. They plenty of options next year at Corner Back. A.J. Bouye, Stephon Gilmore, Donte Jackson, and Rashaan Melvin all veteran guys and younger Jaycee Horn, C.J. Henderson, and Keith Taylor Jr. Gilmore. Donte Jackson, and Rashaan Melvin are in the final year of their current deals. Meanwhile, Bouye is under contract through the 2022 season.
  13. Everyone who matched up with McLaurin had a tough time outside of Gilmore. In Jackson’s case, this was his most disappointing performance of 2021 by a considerable margin.
  14. It is a given we now have a starting QB with Cam Newton at the helm and it could be just a short matter of time before Brady Christensen proves to be the long term LT we are in desperate need off.
  15. I am proud of Cam and thought he did a great job overall, considering he has only been here a matter of days, which meant there was no way he could know much of the play book in that short of a time period.

  17. Ric Flair is a phoney and fake that will support anyone that pays him. Remember when we played SF several years ago and he gave them a locker room speech telling they had always been his favorite team and hoped they beat the Carolina Panthers?
  18. Belichick is a master at taking away one thing an offense does well. And he did on Thursday night, making Pitts a non-factor. Pitts had three catches for 29 yards.
  19. I would not rate next Sundays game the second most anticipated home game in the teams history, but you can bet your bottom dollar Bank of America Stadium is going to be electric. Former head coach Ron Rivera returning with the Washington Football Team only heightens the level of intrigue. It’s going to be an occasion that nobody in attendance will forget. And the noise when Cam Newton is introduced will shake the stadium to its foundations.
  20. The Falcons showed last night they have obvious needs all over the roster, including at the position group the Falcons have invested a lot of draft capital in in recent years: the offensive line. After years of neglecting the o-line in the draft, the Falcons selected four blockers in the first three rounds over the last three years. Put another way, Atlanta has selected eight players on Days 1 and 2 since 2019. Half of them have been offensive linemen. Former general manager Thomas Dimitroff tried so hard to fix the offensive line quickly that in 2019, the Falcons took two offensive linemen in the first round. Dimitroff traded Atlanta's 2019 second and third-round picks to acquire another first-round selection to choose Kaleb McGary. Before him, the Falcons drafted Chris Lindstrom at No. 14. In 2020, Atlanta picked center Matt Hennessy in the third round. This past spring, new general manager Terry Fontenot added guard Jalen Mayfield to the mix in the third round. Lindstrom, McGary, Hennessy and Mayfield make up four of the five starters up front for the Falcons. The unit hasn't worked out as the Atlanta front office hoped. That came to a point Thursday night when the Patriots recorded four sacks, 12 quarterback hits and six tackles for loss. It seemed like the New England front-seven spent a majority of the game in the Atlanta backfield. Despite the draft capital spent on offensive linemen, the unit was a major question mark heading into the 2021 season. To see them struggle isn't surprising or new.
  21. Maybe they really like the idea of voting on who makes up the board. It makes one feel in power. Well, it sure as poo shouldn’t, because there are 501,000 shares currently owned, with another 300,000 being made in this offering. So, their$300 will give them the voting power of 0.000125 percent — and will can keep getting diluted forever, because the available float the Packers can change whenever they feel like it.
