Why should he come out and address this certain issue in public when numerous articles have been writen and talked about on radio and tv explaining in detail the complete Panthers vs Rock Hill project delay?

The past has nothing to do with this particular deal. The fact is Tepper has lived up to his end of the bargain and Rock Hill has not. You seem to be letting your personal dislike for Tepper cloud your view of an agreed on business deal that was kept on his end of the bargain..

Exactly. All this hate i see here directed toward Tepper is just wrong. He has lived up to his end of this bargain and Rock Hill has not. Let's try placing the blame where it belongs. The Carolina Panthers have put a pause on construction of their headquarters in Rock Hill, South Carolina, saying the city hasn't met its financial obligations. City officials say they have not issued bonds yet to meet their financial obligation. What did officials there say exactly are their reasons for pausing construction? And what will it take to restart it? Well, they're saying what you said at the start of this segment, which is that the city has not issued the bonds, has not made good on its promises to help pay for the streets and other infrastructure around this project. And in essence, they're saying that this has gone on for long enough and they're going to stop — "pause" is the word they used — they're going to stop building until they get this resolved. And on the flip side,, you've had the city at first saying, "Well, we haven't missed any payments. We've done what we're supposed to do." And then later saying, "Well, yeah, we did not issue these bonds." So, there's still a little bit of a question as to exactly what's driving the lack of investment or making good on the commitment that was struck with the Panthers originally. So, the idea was that Rock Hill would contribute roughly $225 million worth of road improvements, sewer, water — all the things that need to happen to build a big project on a piece of land that has been unoccupied; it has not been commercially used. And those things have not happened yet. The bonds would have paid for those projects, and so the Panthers kept building. They are 20 months into a 36-month construction schedule. They say they've spent about $170 million so far working on their headquarters. In essence, they're pulling the plug and saying, "We have to fix this somehow, some way." And a lot of people that are watching this — both near and far — are saying, "Well, we might have a little bit of bluffing or a little bit of a game of chicken. We'll see how this turns out." But so far, that's where it stands.

The Eagles may have made the smart move here. If these picks aren't protected. This isn't a deep class especially in key skill positions. The Saints go into the season with no strong QB and no Sean Payton. They could end up with a much better than 16 pick in a deeper class. If Hurts doesn't show improvement in year 2 you can bundle two picks next year and move up. If he does meet potential you can start building a WR group from a greater selection. I think it's still too early to dismiss Hurts but having these picks will certainly help if he's not the answer. The Saints will really have to hit on these two picks from this year. They won't have the the depth of picks to bolster their roster in the coming years. This is the kind of deal that could get a GM in trouble.

There is certainly nothing wrong with Sam's selection of beautiful women.

My guess is that the Panthers will have their draft board set up depending on how the five picking in front of them draft. Thankfully, they have the option of trading back for more seletions or taking the best QB or OT available. Seems most pro scouts think QB Willis, OT Evan Neal or OT Ekwonu are the ones the Panthers could draft,but's It’ depends o any of them being available at the # 6 pick. .

I would like to obtain a great quarterback and left tackle in the draft but it will be almost impossible to draft both. I could live with the offensive line you mentioned in 2022 , so if we have a chance to take one of this years three top rated quarterbacks i feel we should. Next year we may be drafting outside the top ten, so considering some teams will probably move down to take quarterbacks, this year may be the best time to draft one.

Exactly...Scott Fitterer is playing his cards close to his vest so there is numerous ways the draft could go. He said they interviewed Russell Wilson at the senior bowl, and then the combine, we kind of stayed away from him. We knew we were going to go down that road. And we just kind of played it really quiet with him and we took him.

Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reported Tom Brady was told Bruce Arians planned to step down either the day Brady announced his return or the day after. The team reportedly insists the decision for Arians to step aside had nothing to do with Brady, but past rumors of a rift between Arians and Brady is only going to leave questions.

I could see this happening very easy. I would love to see the Panthers draft Willis, let him sit and develop a year, sign Cam to a reasonable contract to be back QB, release or trade P.J. Walker and sign a good LT. This would allow the Panthers to ride out Darnolds season ending contract for better or worse and create a solid foundation going into next season .

The likelihood of the Panthers taking a quarterback at No. 6 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft has increased considering they missed out on Deshaun Watson and haven’t dipped into free agency or the trade market for anyone else as yet. This could mean the organization is planning to select a signal-caller from the college ranks and going forward with Sam Darnold until the rookie is ready to assume command under center. This would be a controversial move given how poorly Darnold played. But it could end up being the best solution for the Panthers right now as they have almost no chance of finding a willing trade partner for an underperforming player that also comes with a fully guaranteed $18.85 million. For all the Panthers’ problems at the most important position on the field, the front office has done a nice job of filling in other needs during free agency. This bears special significance across the offensive line interior, with Bradley Bozeman and Austin Corbett representing a significant upgrade at two of the three slots. Having stable protection is something Darnold has not been afforded throughout his career. Something that’s not exactly helped his poor processing and footwork since entering the league. If this scenario comes to fruition and Darnold fails miserably behind an improved offensive line, then it might be the end of his professional career. However, it could also be the making of him, which would be the biggest turn up for the books imaginable.

Now that is a good looking Panthers hat.

Sadly, Sam Darnold has shown an inability to find second or third options consistently, which is one of the hallmarks of good QB play. Making good decisions and throwing accurately are two other big ones and both have been problems for Darnold going back to his time in college. In many respects, Darnold is still that same prospect he was coming out of USC. Only he’s a few years older and a bit more expensive.

Tom Brady will really miss Gronkowski if he doesn't come back. He has always been a dependable type of security blanket for Brady.

Jermaine Carter was no great loss for the Panthers in my opinion.

Good analysis. I have said all along, since the Panthers are not going to the Super Bowl this year they should ride out a year with Sam Darnold and his big contract while a young rookie QB either beats him out this year or is ready to start in 2023. The Panthers have been making a lot knee jerk mistakes by trying to short cut the path to become a very good football team, at some point that has to stop and in my opinion that time is now.

Let's face it, Sam Darnold has essentially zero trade value. If a trade were to be made, you can expect that the Panthers will have to foot most of the bill, similar to what they did in the Teddy Bridgewater trade. Releasing Darnold would be a tough pill to swallow in terms of cap money and trading him seems impossible but the one thing the Panthers can't do is have Darnold on the roster for 2022 and beyond. Let's face it, even if Darnold recovers from his shoulder injury, there's no way he's going to touch the field. So if you know he's not going to be your starter, you can't pay a guy $18 million to sit on the bench.

My guess is the Panthers will have all 3 ( Pickett,Corral,Willis) rated fairly close and would be happy with any of the 3 if they decide to go QB with the #6 pick.
