  1. Different! Different! Different! Some times "Different" is not better!
  2. I hate to give up future draft picks but if the Panthers could obtain the No. 5 for Nos. 9, 93 and a 2024 first-round pick, I would be all for it.
  3. That certainly sounds like a solid plan. Now, let's do it!
  4. Then leave the team gutted and in a rebuild mode if his plan doesn't work out.
  5. Just thinking what the Panthers would have to give up to obtain Sean Payton makes me have heart burns. The Panthers need a QB that can help them have balance and build for the future, lots more than getting Payton by giving up needed draft choices.
  6. I personally want someone other than Sean Payton as the Panthers new head coach. There is no way I want to see them give up a true 1st rd pick for him. However, if the Panthers did decide to go after Payton, I think the 49ers' 2nd and 3rd you suggested would be a fair value.
  7. The Charlotte Observer confirmed Harbaugh and Tepper had a conversation about the Panthers’ head-coaching vacancy. Since then, Harbaugh released a statement via the University of Michigan’s Twitter that he anticipates returning to Ann Arbor. The Panthers have not yet conducted a formal interview with Harbaugh. That could change. If it doesn’t then Tepper was not interested in handing over full control of the organization to another college coach like he did with Rhule. The best organizations find and then successfully maintain alignment between ownership, the front office and the head coach. The next Panthers head coach must align with Tepper’s vision and Fitterer’s plan while serving as a CEO capable of authentic leadership and winning football education and strategy. 8. The Panthers certainly have a good group of head coach candidates to pick from and I feel certain they will have done some serious homework before they commit to anyone. While I am leaning toward them selecting either Steichen or Johnson, I will not complain, no matter who they decide on, after suffering through Matt Rhules debacle here.
  9. I will always be a Carolina Panthers fan but if they moved to another city and state, I feel sure my interest level would decrease somewhat.
  10. If the Detroit Fans are posting "Ben Johnson is Terrible, Stay Away", it means that are afraid he will leave and are trying to scare people away from obtaining him..
  11. . Clayton Tune (Houston) is projected to be drafted somewhere in the 4-6 round. Like you, I feel he could have good value at that rang Tune is 6-foot-3, 220-pounder, has enough size and will enter the next level with a lot of starting experience because he broke into the starting lineup during the 2019 season
  12. I wonder why it took him so long to declare for the draft?
  13. Ben Johnson, Detroit Lions offensive coordinator: The Panthers will interview the North Carolina and Reynolds High School (Asheville) graduate on Wednesday, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Johnson completed a virtual interview with the Colts on Friday. Read more at: https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article271194207.html#storylink=cpy
  14. Odds Detroit Lions OC Ben Johnson Returns in 2023 NFL insider Jonathan Jones on CBS Report: Ben Johnson is in the lead to become the Carolina Panthers' next Head Coach. Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson reportedly is in the lead to become the next Head Coach of the Carolina Panthers. After interviewing with the Colts and Texans, Johnson is scheduled to interview with the Panthers next week. "Ben Johnson has the lead in Carolina," reported NFL insider Jonathan Jones on CBS, during his "Eye on the NFL" segment with NFL Today host James Brown. There is growing buzz that Panthers owner David Tepper is quite "enamored" with Detroit's first-year offensive coordinator..
  15. I would like to see the Saints give away the farm for Lamar and further wreck their program when he quits on them or gets numerous injuries.
  16. DT Derrick Brown and LB Frankie Luvu are two of the players that keep me excited about the Panthers future by knowing they will be part of the teams rebuild .
  17. If the Panthers could get Sean Payton without giving up draft picks, I would be all for trying get him. However, since that would be impossible and considering the obvious needs the Panthers have to retain draft picks, my opinion is he would cost to much to get.
  18. There are better QB options out there than Trey Lance in my opinion.
  19. I believe that Sam Darnold would be history if the Panthers signed Derek Carr.
  20. If what Will Kunkie said on WFNZ is correct, no one should blame the Panthers if they don't take a QB in the 1st rd of the 2023 NFL Draft. I would not be surprised if the Panthers tried hard to get Carr, if he becomes a free agent.
  21. Carolina Panthers: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky The Panthers need a franchise quarterback. I'm sure they'll attempt to move up for Bryce Young or C.J. Stroud, but if they can't, they could settle for the third or fourth option in this class. Will Levis has a big arm and could be chosen in the top 10.
  22. It will be interesting to see how the kicking job plays out in training camp because Eddie Piñeiro wasn't the Panthers initial plan at kicker. He came in just before the season after Zane Gonzalez suffered a season-ending groin injury in the Panthers' preseason finale. He finished the year 32-of-34 on field goal attempts, a 94.1 percentage that's the second-best in a single season among Panthers' kickers with at least 30 attempts. The mark is just behind Graham Gano's 96.7 percent in 2017, when Gano went 29-of-30. Piñeiro's 32 total made field goals this year rank second in Panthers' history for a single season, behind 37 from John Kasay in 1996.
  23. Regardless of what happens with him and the Ravens, i personally would not want the Panthers to go after him considering the overall cost and the other factors involved.
